If you see an E behind the GT500, it is a Unique Performance car. They were shut down for fraudulently titling kit cars as 1967 model cars.
Unique was not the only ones using the E .
Knock offs of Unique cars are possible, but the E was not a Shelby designation. It was a Unique copyright and it stood for Eleanor.
