Thank you for the product review. I have a Vitamix VM0103 (5200) that I've been using now for 32 years. It still runs well for me. I have used it several times a week for all of those years. I have also used a friends Blendtec Classic 575 and found that both work very well. I believe either will give you great results with a little experience. Both companies have recommendations on how to load the blender. If you follow those recommendations you should get good results with either. The one thing I do like using with the Vitamix is the tamper when working with nearly frozen product, but not everyone is into using the tamper. In regards to sound levels both are loud, but I think the Vitamix is louder. I place my Vitamix on a piece of 1" thick rubber floor tile instead of directly on the tile counter top and that seems to help lower the noise for me.
Anyway I feel both companies produce stellar products and would welcome either brand into my kitchen. If your looking at either product check out each companies certified refurbished models. I purchased a Vitamix refurb as a gift for a friend and it is still working well for them 7 years later.

@@MrTrincent first off, blendtec does have a vacuum blend attachment but the reason I pick blendtec over vitamix is because it's more compact(fits under the kitchen cabinets), it has two blades and wider jar so it's easier to clean by hand. It's more automatic with the buttons, it makes better icy drinks such as fraps better than the vitamix imo, and it has more power. the vitamix is probably more sturdy and built better with more quality than the blendtec but I like the blendtec better overall

Interesting comparison. I have a Vitamix and the only thing I don't like is the narrow container at the bottom. Making a smoothie is no big deal, but something like hummus is a royal pain in the butt. It takes a lot of time and effort to get all the mixture out of the narrow bottom around the blades. The wider Blendtec should be much better in this regard. And someone should invent a QUIETER blender!

I would suggest adding rows to indicate what test you are doing eg smoothies, nuts, whipped creme and soup, etc. That way when you’re comparing you or your audience can see what exactly each machine can or cannot do. And, at the end show the graph to see which product or machine did or did not excel at certain tasks. It helps me to see comparisons this way, therefore just a suggestion.

I don’t have a lot of experience with other blenders, but I have not had a good experience with this one. I work at a technical school, and we have a ProStart Restuarant Management. Recently we were catering an event. I was tasked with making whipped ricotta. The Blendtec Blender that we have couldn’t even do that. It kept overheating and the smell was horrible. As a result, the blended ricotta began to curdle, and the blender kept shutting off. I do not know the details around this Blender, but I was told that it was not very old and had only been used a couple times. I hope that this is just happening to this particular blender because we are in need of more blenders and would like to stay with Blendec because it is a good name and I have heard, a good brand. However, if this is the result, it is not worth the money.

Watched your video on the Vitamix A2300. Dude you need to READ the instructions! The blender was fine, it was YOU! USE the tamper through the lid opening with thick blends. You need to blend more than TEN seconds. An average smoothie takes at least 30 seconds to a minute. I was appalled how you treated that poor blender. You should have got one with programs if you can't read the instructions. I hope you finally learned how to use this awesome machine. Vitamix blenders are the best on the market and it was entirely YOUR fault for the poor results.
