The Connector has a double lock. Slide the red tab off first, then pull out the front of the connector from the sensor. Look at the tab in front of connector at 01:19. Use a 90 degree plus angle pick to pull the connector from the sensor. Some remove the belt before for more room on this job.
Great information on the Cherokee 3.7 fix.there are not too many repair videos on the 3.7 in a Cherokee. Simple to explain to a layman so any shade tree mechanic can follow this video. Lightening was not great but if you have this vehicle you know what’s what anyways. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
Thank you very much,....this might be my problem as well because my oil light randomly pops on and my oil level is fine. I could be driving my Jeep all day and suddenly the oil light is blinking and dinging. I will be changing this part as well on my recently bought Jeep. 182K miles.
@@Judah144 you welcome! Best of luck with the Jeep. If you ever plan on adding a lift kit to your Jeep, I will have an DIY explanation of how I just installed my 3” lift on this same Jeep.
Makes about as much sense as a username Jarv Jarv Binks, possibly one of the most unliked characters in the Star Wars franchise. Weeeesaaaa freeeeee. 😆 just kidding man. Let me explain; for example, let’s say I work Monday night and Tuesday night, but have Wednesday and Thursday night off, but work Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night... do you think I would switch back and forth on my days off, or rather stay up all night on my days off to maintain somewhat of a sleep schedule? Think about it, let it sink in, and get back to work. I presume you work night shift as well since you posted a comment at 4am. Hope my video gave you some insight on your potential Jeep problem. Do I need to drain the oil from the engine first?
for the oil filter, did you just twist it off then back on?
TsaoChung Gong yes I believe I reused the oil filter or had a spare laying around.
@janzgar that is a strange symptom. Maybe it’s a faulty oil pressure sensor sending a false signal; otherwise, I haven’t got a clue.
Solved my problem appreciate your knowledge 💯
Awesome!! Glad I could help, subscribe if you can!

I've got the same problem. About to do the same thing.
Hi,where can I order sensors?
I bought mine off eBay for $12
U never showed how you got the clip out. You skipped right to the part of using the 1 1/16th socket.
Light was going OFF ? Then all is good.
You said you’re working at night, because you’re working nights. And it’s your day off. Makes no sense to me....

According to your logic, a person who works days should sleep all day when they’re off
According to your logic, you have a degree from Facebook university.
@@CottoDIY I was responding to the original comment. To me it makes sense that you would stay on the same sleep schedule on your off days
