Thank you! You are the only video to show removing the belly pan(aka skid plate).

Removing it isn’t completely necessary, but it would make a big mess leaving it on!

Friendly reminder! After you add oil and new filter, run the engine for about 5 min to circulate oil and check for leaks. Shut of the engine, let it sit for about 10 min then check oil level.

Nice job young lady. You correctly put "new" oil on the filter gasket. If you did not do so, I would recommend using a torque wrench set to factory specs when installing the drain plug.

Been looking for any videos that may show what I’m trying to explain my problem with my Jeep., and i found this video 👏🏼👏🏼……
We noticed there was a crack on the tube looking part of where you put the oil in. Is there an easy way to fix it without having to take it to a mechanic???….. my Jeep has been leaking oil, but the last time we put oil in, the stick only showed the tip had very little oil. It wasn’t where it reads “safe”
That’s when we noticed the crack in the tube looking part of where you pour in the oil.
Also, another question i have is, since we bought this used Jeep, we have to put oil in almost every two to three weeks or oil light will light up, and surely after two or three weeks, the stick will be dried. What could be the cause of having to put oil in constantly (at least every two to three weeks)???
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Have you checked the transmission fluid?

I’ve checked the level and the fluid looks good! Planning to do a fluid change soon.

@@heygirlsgarage100 mine doesn't have a dip stick. Don't know if that's the correct name for it. Any ideas on how to check it?

There’s a spot for a dipstick close to the oil dipstick. Mine has a cap on it that says for dealer use only. You can buy a dip stick (Amazon or eBay), take the “dealer use only” cap off and check the level

Wait you use 5w-30? Mine ask for 5w-20

It can change based on your engine type. Do you also have a 3.7 v6?
