It was written by Odie Blackmon and Jay Knowles.

If you love real country music and have never been to a George straight concert, you don't know what you have been missing. Every time he came to Memphis TN, I a proud Black Man was right there. I have been a fan of his since 1985. "NOBODY IN HIS RIGHT MIND WOULD HAVE LEFT HER, EVEN MY HEART WAS SMART ENOUGH TO STAY BEHIND." LOL

There was an album and DVD release. The DVD included this song and "The Best Day" which were not included on the album.
What is a “gypsy rain”? Some lyrics say “gypsy rings” but that doesn’t fit.
Only two things that are disappointing about his concerts are that they have to end and he only throws out one hat. Bring a big box on stage and throw out a bunch that are signed after each one was worn by the King. There will never be another one like him!
