"A greater number of species inhabit the first 10m of a woodland edge/ride than inhabit the rest of the woodland." 😮 Iconic posters at the B&B by Spencer Pryse for the 1910 Labour Party campaign (I did have to look them up!) It must be soul enhancing to be able to map the landscape through the eye's of previous journeys. And to be at home in one of the most beautiful environments in the world 😊 Some cracking photography 👌 Thanks for sharing 🙏
Hey, absolutely loved this film. As usual, you captured everything that nature is and represents. I too remember the Cumbria way bits you filmed, and with the music you played, I really did feel a tear in my eye. Well done. ❤
That's so kind thank you so much 😊aw i'm glad it made you feel that way! An emotional response is what every videographer desires, whatever that emotion may be 😁 Thank you for the lovely comment :)
This is outstanding. I'm sure I saw somewhere that if you make me miss/want to visit the Lakes again this badly that you become responsible for the costs? Well played. Some of the nicest content available.
Hi Tiny Pine, just recently discovered you and your channel and I must say we think your wonderful. Great photography and info, un intrusive music and you let the images speak for themselves. Loved this one and it brought back wonderful memories for me whilst you were at Grange and Castle crag as my daughter took me to the Lakes in April and we climbed Castle Crag which is to date my only Wainwright. Looking forward to working our way through all your other videos. Stay safe and keep on walking. Cheers Glyn.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it, and Castle Crag is a brilliant walk; not too far to climb for spectacular panoramic views of Borrowdale & distant Derwentwater. Thank you for such a lovely comment ♥️
Aw thank you so much! Yeah I like how it's worked out that way, with so many hike videos still yet to edit & post (including the entire C2C) the backlog has pushed me 7 months back, but at least I always have more videos to put out on a fairly regular basis :D Watching this back makes me miss early spring, I'm just glad we're not /that/ far from it 😅
Beautiful face, beautiful adventures. Beautiful life
That’s so kind ☺️

I never knew that, that's so cool! And well spotted, where abouts/what time stamp during the video do you see them at? I'll watch back and check 😁
Magical, just Magical. You seem to capture the essence of the lake district. Special moment with Mr Robin too. Thankyou for this video.

Very nice. Hope you can go down south and do the South Down Way trail. :-)
It’s on my list, I’ll definitely get round to it 😁
I was sat on castle crag a week ago , a short climb with big views
It’s stunning up there, one of my favourite areas of the lakes ☺️
Enjoying this one now! Loving the scenery...perfect for this time of year for those of us going into the fall/ winter. Great job with the solo hike!
