Makes sense - like her father, she is defined by a grudge that consumes her life, while Zagreus was seeking to fix what was broken in his family (even if he couldn't have stated it that clearly at the start of his journey). They're very different people, from very different circumstances, while Hades and Melinoe are birds of a feather.

Plus, having to work overtime for centuries due to the other gods nonsense and having to deal with his wife leaving and his son being rebellious took quite a toll on his attitude.

The gods (depending on the version of the story it’s Hades or Zeus who imparts the punishment) cursed the rock to make sure his task was all a futile endeavor no matter how proficient or stronger he became by pushing the rock.
Has Bouldy gathered some kind of animus? It spent a long time with Sisyphus, in a place of power… it wouldn’t be surprising if *something* happened to it.
Idk about any animus, but he sure gathered a stash of ambrosia and nectar after Zag wasted a bunch of it on him... I guess that's on way to ease the plight of Hades?

@@digifreak90it's not always damage - in my 32 Heat run I got a 5% damage reduction from Bouldy. Bouldy's Boons have a variety of very small but useful effects...unless you get the Ambiguity Bonus, which is the dud result.
I’d believe it. The man was a cunning fellow in life. He’d have to be to get away with all the crimes he committed, and that’s before he locked Than up for months. I don’t know if he’ll ever be entirely on the gods’ side, but he’s definitely on Zag’s, and definitely against the titans.

I love how ruthless and direct Melinoe can be. It’s almost funny. Completely different from Zagreus. She is really polite and kind but acts under very strict beliefs in her head and has a hard time navigating outside of them. It’s charming
I hope the actually give him an updated icon in the full release and don't just reuse his old one I would like to see how he would look with his new beard
As someone who read Greek Mythology before playing Hades, I never expected to ever sympathize with Sisyphus. And well, here I am. I swear, if Chronos did something to my boy Sisyphus, he's gonna rue the day this game fully releases....
Bouldy has a way with words, Helped Sysiphus rehabilitate when he was the prisoner of Hades & now he will help Hades through his imprisonment, Also his advice to Melinoë will no doupt help her defeat Chronos
CAN YOU IMAGINE what will the eventual fallout will be from it all, Chronos banished for good that is, Hades will probably make another a layer just for anyone who wronged him and his family. New level to traverse haha!
Back when Hades 2 wasn't even out, I thought how cool it would be if the next installment involved Nordic Gods as well, clashing together with the Greek ones - it could have 2 protagonists, one from the Greek mythology and one from the Nordic side (which could even meet up and fight), but then this would no longer be "Hades" now, wouldn't it?

To be fair, like he said, most of them aren’t exactly fond of him. He’s right to think SOME will hate him, but not everyone does.
