I did this today, successfully. Very happy. Thank you. Initially my injectors didn't seat properly and I ended up with petrol in my engine well by the injectors. Not fun. The second time they seated perfectly fine. Be careful guys. Immediately observe your injectors as soon as you start the engine. 👍
Very informative Peter I'm going to apply this on my 2004 Toyota Matrix I was not putting the fuel injectors in first and then mounting the fuel rail on top I was put in the injectors into the fuel rail and then into the block so I'm going to try your Technique thanks again for the video.
@@gforvendtta injectors to the block first apply the grease for the o rings going into the fuel rail then finish installation. I don't advise using the o rings that come with the injectors quality is poor. I went to advance Auto and got the brand ones. It comes in a pack of 4-6. Good luck
I've started getting a problem on these cold mornings with my 2007 corolla verso 2.2 Diesel will start the first time without a problem and idle normally. After about one minute or so warning light will show up on the dash than fter another 30 seconds the engine cuts out. When the engine dies, I can restart again without a problem and the whole scenario starts over this happen until the engine warms up. once the temperature reaches 60 and the blue light goes off the car works fine the rest of the day. I cleaned the EGR, polished the glow plugs and tested them, put a new fuel filter, tried a working SCV from my mate's car, and did a full tank with fuel treatments. None of the above-mentioned worked however the car performance is much better. I tried to warm up the fuel rail line with a hot cloth soaked in hot water and will top it with hot water every now and then and the car did not cut off but won't drive as normal unless the engine itself is warmed up. Once it is warmed up it runs fine. Any idea what else could it be? Thank you
I had the same problem also to my 2002 toyota Corolla. I went to repair shop and changed already the o-ring and the fuel line but still it has leaked. Especially when I start in the morning too much gasoline. What will do next? Please help me. Thanks!
Big danger of fire. 4 Euros per each little Oring?! Peter, silicone is prejudicial to oxigen sensor lambda. I would lubricate those orings with other lubricant.

Mine is leaking from the fuel regulator.so new fuel rail?
Yes
@ I think the oring inside is probably bad. But it has metal folded around the regulator so IDK if it can even come out.

Hello Peter,
I had the same problem. I replaced the 4 O rings. I still have the problem but it happens only once a month. What should I look for??
Did you used Toyota original parts ?
@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor yes I did and the old ones looked also fine.

Ok, you should check also fuel line below the car body. 😀
