    Also, how long should I wait before using another test strip to test changes I’ve made?

    I saw that the chiller is not meant for outdoors, can you provide clarification?

    After I use a test strip, what do I add to the water and how much of it do I add? It obviously depends on which variables are up/down, but I have no idea what the various relationships are. I’ve never done this before.

    Why doesn’t the setup video or the answer to the Q (under FAQs on the site) mention the need for these products for initial water treatment and/or maintenance? I have one coming in 2 wks and didn’t realize I needed to spend the additional 190$ these materials.

      You don't have to use their products,. You can add hydrogen peroxide to your water to sanitize it

      @@skatersedge3139also baking soda is the main ingredient in alkalinity increased use that instead of their product

    I am interested in the cold plunge. I live in Minnesota. It is my understanding that the tub cannot stay outside in the freezing temperatures. I am wondering how practical it would be to move the tub inside in the fall and outside in the spring. Moving it twice a year,thank you

      It’s the sirona surface cleaner as well. Baqua became sirona.

    What’s the protocol for weekly use?

    • @danpatrick8043
      @danpatrick8043 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you modify from their protocol because you're using it infrequently, keep an eye on your filter. That's where the funky stuff shows up and will be a big smoking gun if microorganisms are beginning to make their appearance.

    What happened to the hydrogen peroxide weekly? Is that out the window?

    • @danpatrick8043
      @danpatrick8043 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope. That's what the "oxidizer" product actually is. A concentrated hydrogen peroxide.

    Can someone help me understand why you would need to use the BAQUA Spa® System if the water is already being sanitized through UV and ozonation? Seems like these two methods are doing the same thing.

    • @EXTORTlON
      @EXTORTlON ปีที่แล้ว

      Ozone does offgas this is just for those who use plunges indoors

      We use two filters with UV and Ozone. I'm not sure if we need to add anything else. But the PH value is too high right now. I need to understand how I can bring the PH value down.
