A good temperature for your cold plunge is around 50°F. No need to go much colder. The benefits - like noradrenaline production - begin at 60°F water exposure.

Sorry if I missed this in your other videos…have you considered running the submerged pond pump to the pleated filter then this UV clarifier all within the freezer submerged instead of piping out? I am trying to research hard plumbing it with unions and pvc for compact design and service. Thanks for all your content. Excited to build my plunge
They make a submersible UV clarifier, I don’t know if the filter unit can be used in water, but it will get pretty cluttered inside the cold plunge if you have that way. You’ll have to do some research and play around. Have you watched my other videos? I show you some various Options

Is there any reason you dont run the ozone longer? 30mins/day, twice a day has my water beautiful. Havent had to change it in eight months.
My cold plunge is indoors so I didn't want to run the ozone that long, but the ozone did work well.
Is it safe to have ozone flowing into the tub straight against the skin? Won’t it start reacting with your skin?
The ozone and all operations should be turned off when you’re using the cold plunge. I now suggest using the UV clarifier instead of ozone. It’s safer and delivers the same results. See my other videos.
