I saw them live a few weeks ago. They opened with Bullets and it was amazing. So heavy. And the lights and pyros were incredible. Best concert I've ever been to.
When someone close to you dies, people tell you things like, “They are in a better place” or “At least they aren’t in pain anymore.” Even if you believe it to be true, those things are hard to hear because of the grief and weight of the loss. Creed’s song “Don’t Stop Dancing”helped me with the loss of my husband at 38 yrs old to cancer. The opening lyrics, especially, really allowed me to put words to my feelings at the time: At times life is wicked And I just can't see the light A silver lining sometimes isn't enough To make some wrongs seem right Whatever life brings I've been through everything And now I'm on my knees
And the prequel to Arms Wide Open “Name”. Scott wrote it about him and his son. Scott Stapp is a very talented vocalist and lyricists! His songs are so relatable. His music has helped me through some very tough times in my life. Also check out Purpose for pain and Broken and Justify and Slow Suicide!!! I can listen to him sing all day long!!!
CREED was an awesome band and I have nothing but fond memories of the good times at their concerts and events and the great friends I made because of this band's fan community. Thank goodness 3/4 of CREED lived on to form Alter Bridge with Myles Kennedy (also known for his work with Slash) and keep making great music. Asia, I feel ya on the goosebumps!

Great song by Creed. Scott Stapp described the song - " is essentially talking about coming out of the throes of a dark period in your life, whether that be a dark depression or a period of substance abuse or alcoholism, and then reconnecting with yourself. And what you see in the video is a version of me in a boat and then also a drowning version of me pulling myself out from underneath the water into the boat - and I think that really captures what the song means. It’s coming from the darkness back into clarity, coming from the gates of death back into life. I had tried to get better [from substance abuse, addiction and alcoholism] alone for so many years, and I would have times when I would come back and hold on for a period of months, but then I’d fall again."
I was born Christian and turned to atheism in my teens. Wasn’t till I met my husband at 21 I found God again and boy does this song get me in my feels. Love ❤️ Creed! A lot of songs listed in the comments but one that should be added is What’s This Life For! It was written about a friend who committed suicide, it’s a beautiful song that so many relate to because the lyrics are strong and the music like most of Creed music 🎶 has meaning! Also One Last Breath and Arms Wide Open is about the lead singer Scott Stapp finding out he was going to be a father for the first time! Torn, Weathered, One, Higher! I love them! Absolutely more Creed guys!!!🙌🥰 Some people will talk about lead singer and his struggles with addiction but it’s old news, so old he is going on almost 7 years in sobriety and I’ve seen him when Creed was all together and they were just one of my all time favorite bands and I would love to hear a new album and see them live on tour together again but at Scott’s shows not only does he look good but sounds amazing still and he opening talks and embraces his past struggles and uplifts his audience to ask for help and inspires others that they can overcome, which is also a Creed song Overcome and you can come out on the other side and help someone else get there too! A single off his last album Space Between The Shadows is called Survivor and I highly recommend a listen to it, great song 🎧
Scott Stapp’s children attend the same school as my grandchildren here in the Nashville area. It’s crazy to reconcile the guy in this video and the father pushing his youngest child around in a stroller! They seem to have a really nice family
I vaguely remember someone say that the singer said this song had something to do with heart addictions. I think "My Sacrifice" means sacrificing those addictions. "It feels so good to reunite, within yourself and within your mind." - After that lyric, he pulls himself out of deep water, into the safe boat. "When you are with me, I'm free." - I think he may speaking about his own self. When you're a slave of addiction, you're not exactly yourself and you're not free. When you finally sacrifice those addiction, you can finally reunite with yourself and be free. That's my interpretation of some of the lyrics, anyway.
Creed became huge in 1997 after their first album 'My own prison'... 2nd album 'Human clay' hit #1 on the US charts in 1999... This was their 3rd album 'Weathered' in 2001... Unfortunately, lead singer Scott Stapp was struggling w/ alcohol abuse and was a disaster on their 2002 tour. Their bassist Brian Marshall had quit in 2000, and Creed finally ended in 2003. In 2004, former Creed members Mark Tremonti (guitar), Scott Phillips (drums) and Brian Marshall (bass) formed a new band - Alter Bridge, and refused to perform Creed songs...They hired a new vocalist Myles Kennedy, who also played guitar w/ the band. Creed would reunite w/ singer Scott Stapp in 2009 and recorded the album 'Full circle'... but Alter Bridge remains the focus til now. Other Creed songs to check out - 'My own prison' ... 'What if' ... 'Weathered'... 'Overcome' ... 'Torn' ... "What's this life for" ...'Higher' 🤘🤘🔥🔥

From the ashes of Creed rose Alter Bridge with new singer/ guitarist/composer Myles Kennedy. AB went a whole different musical direction and are releasing their 7th album in October. IMO the best rock band of this century.
The Album is called Weathered! The old man is blind at the beginning as he endures a storm. It’s all metaphor. Life is described as a storm and the boat ride represents the straight and narrow (the road less taken) and his journey through life. All the distractions such as the fisherman, the mermaids, the ball game, the tiger, are forms of temptation to steer him off the path of the straight and narrow. At the end of the boat ride, he finds himself. This is portrayed by the double being pulled from the water into the boat. Next, a storm is raging and the old man is no longer blind and now he sees and is weathered because he has weathered the storm of life resisting all temptation. He then cuddles the boy as the storm continues to rage as the boy is now blind and starting his journey through the storm of life.
My Sacrifice refers to JESUS the Sacrificial Lamb! What Creed & the Lead singer Scott Stamp is saying in this song is that he; like many of us have in one point in our lives strayed away from our Beliefs & Savior and now he has returned asking JESUS back into his life, hence the line "I just want to say Hello Again." because a life with our Lord in it is Freeing, Beautiful, Hopeful, Happy & Loving. I love it!
From Creed: What If, Weathered, My Own Prison, Torn, Are You Ready, What's This Life For, One, Faceless Man, Higher, Overcome, One Last Breath, Bullets.

Always loved Creed! So many great songs to explore. Please react to My own prison, Pity for a dime, and What’s this life for!!! Great reaction
Awesome! You could tell they wanted to hold hands 😂. Awesome
Love Creed and their songs are songs lots of people can relate to and a couple of them helped me through some tough times. Check out "My Own Prison", and "Higher". Sending love always.❤
Arms Wide Open!!! Anyway, I saw them in concert when he was still famous.
This was filmed at Universal Studios Florida 🤙🏻
Some talk sheet on Creed but they are SOLID, I've been listening to them since the start. My favorite WEATHERED !!!
Awesome song! Love Asia's hair btw
I love these guys…the most honest reactions.
Great reaction! "Higher", "Don't Stop Dancing", " What If" are some other songs from Creed that you could check out. You really can't go wrong with any of the music from Creed though. They were a very underrated band and it broke my heart when they split up. Scott Stapp has an amazing voice. In my humble opinion, he is up there close to Steve Perry. It would be hard to top Perry though.
Probably my favorite creed song
Creed - "What's This Life For" this is a good one.
Creed was so awesome
I'm sorry but that was funny..Bj was jammin on the air drums..and Asia saying "I'm loving all the visual effects and---ARE YOU OKAY?" I love you guys🤣 Love the channel!
Have you reacted to Nickleback? If not, you should.
Love Creed. Never cared if anyone else likes them. I still listen to them.
Half of the band is in the Band Alter Bridge, an is also a very good band
THANKS FOR YOUR REACTION VID. WE JUST NAMED OUR PUPPY CREED-MEANS FAITH🙂😉
Faceless man. That's their best Song no music video just an amazing song.
You should definitely react to Creed - one last breath...everything about that song is beautiful...!!
You should check out Edwin McCain - "I Could Not Ask For More". That was my and my wife's song. Every time it came on we would stop whatever we were doing and dance. RIP Cynthia Branch
I think the song is called Rain and this would be my personal Creed favorite. Playlist!!
Great live band! I'd recommend checking out: Creed - One - 7/25/1999 Woodstock
"My Own Prison"
You guys should react to My Own Prison by Creed. It's more recent and you will love it 💕
This song was also used as the theme for a WWE Summer Slam,or something,if I remember correctly.
There is one Creed song that you should definitely react to, it’s called “who’s got my back now?”, it’s a very emotional song but the lyrics are amazing and it’s also a very cathartic song if you’ve experience grief & loss 🙏🏼. I highly recommend it 👍🏼
When Creed broke up....the band minus Scott Stapp the singer went on to for Alter Bridge with singer Myles Kennedy....you need to listen to them....my fave is Blackbird
I recommend my own prison, torn, ode, one, what if. All these songs will get my immediate attention
Oh yall gotta do a reaction to Creed, Faceless Man lyrics. You'll get it❤
My top 3 would be Arms wide open, One last breath and My own prison. Arms wide open was written for his newborn child
Headphones are perfect for music interpretation. It follows the natural aspect of the human ear Unlike earbuds that is very close to the eardrum and directs sounds directly. Our ears are shaped for a reason... to channel sounds accurately.
With Arms Wide Open totally agree with others who suggested this one.
These guys got huge with a Christian them to their music but at the same time they had their hatters but love the uplifting music 🙏🏽
