I play Battlefront 2015 regularly. It’s averages 30 players every day with little variance. Battlefront 2 averages over 1000

I still love that tweet from battlefront updates, we really have come full circle. This game wasn't my childhood, it was my teenage years, and I'm happy for that. Super proud of myself for finally getting a pc and getting mods to work with this game.
Yes! Dice’s games sevred a different purpose for me. pandemic’s made my childhood while Dice made my teenage years and I’m glad I got to experience both that way

The pc player community died due to mismanagement from the heads of the bf2 modding community. I used to mod 2017 before I did anything bf3. They basically gate kept knowledge and tools from anyone except their small group of friends. They would mock new modders and refuse to help them, and would refuse to write documentation for frosty. We could have had custom maps a lot sooner if they had just made frosty open source in the first place. They have only done it now that the community has died so no one even bothers

I’m surprised how often I talk about this game with fellow gamers and they don’t realize that it was fixed post launch and has become one of the best Star Wars games ever made.
They fixed some things like the p2w mechanic but bugs are still the major things u play with, atleast in showdown

I've been apart of one of the leading battlefront 2 xbox communities since 2019, the galactic republic milsim. I've found the military simulator experience of battlefront 2 to be such an amazing thing for this game that just hasnt gotten enough love. It's more than people think, and I'm glad to still be apart of this niche part of gaming in the GRM. we even reached 1000 members recently because of the growth of battlefront 2 on youtube! last thing ill say is that if ur skeptical about the milsim/battlefront 2 groups side of the game, try it out cause ur gonna love it. EA add custom matchmaking private lobbies!

Don’t think they’ll shut down the servers for another 5-7 years. PS/Xbox servers typically stay up longer than expected after a new console comes out
God i'm still so mad about them dropping support for them to instead work of Battle 2042 or whatever. Like THE TIME WHEN EVERYONE was playing yeah lets just drop the game. Modern gaming really is something huh

I leveled up two separate accounts playing mainly HvV. This game will always have a special place in my heart. Nowadays I just hop on coop to do looking shit.
As someone who’s been in one of these clans, the 104th. It’s cool to see it from the outside.

I have it on my ps4 and are waiting for it to go on sale on steam. It is single-handedly the best starwars game ever made.
living in New Zealand the only mode you can play is co op and only one other player in it
every other mode is empty so you are stuck in waiting for hours just for the people to join and leave

As a PC player, I feel like any time I have trouble finding games is around 1 PST (which just means they're probably on supremacy). I'm having the most fun I've had on the game even with the occasional hacker. I'd really suggest to give the game a try when it goes on sale since it's almost always $5 USD each major sale

You forgot an important detail about the steam version (idk if it’s the same for console)
The celebration edition is the only option but it gives you all cosmetics emotes (minus anything that comes out after December 2019)
I have been playing alot and i mean alot of battlefront with a insane amount of mods in singelplayer and its some of the modt fun i have in a starwars game

you can still by the non-aspyr games on steam. just do that, youre not being forced to buy the aspyr versions

My one main issue with the game is that sequel heroes aren't quarantined to their era. It kinda bugs me when I'm playing a prequel era match and han solo and rey enter the room and blow boba fett away.

PC in Europe is a different story, sometimes i can only find starfighter assault or ewok hunt.
I’m pretty new to BF, but I have been playing for about 6 months and have yet to play a galactic assault or any star fighter match. I play almost everyday and it’s the same everyday.
Strange, I find matches in that mode pretty easily on Xbox

@@damianramirez9788 yes it is just make sure they are replacement mods ( mods that just change the skins of already existing stuff for example I showed off a Darth reven mod replacing Kylo ren). Just make sure the mods you’re downloading aren’t changing any of the gameplay of the game to avoid getting banned
Oh also make sure that the mods can co exist with one another as some mods over lap with other ones
Only dificulties today at least for xbox is finding Galactic assault
bf2 is really the only game i play atm. Really good, recommend buying it, buy it when its on sale for like $5. Cheaters swarm the game but they usually come in waves, you'll see them constantly for a couple of days then poof.. they'll be gone for a week.

Battlefront 2 is our go to coop game with my buddy because its fun. Soldiers and heros are all playable and fun.
But for Multiplayer i prefer 2015, i never sticked with BF2 multiplayer, i dont really know why.
I can only play bf2 with mods I just can’t play it vanilla but if I were to be honest no matter what I still prefer 2015 it’s just sad that on Pc you can only play cargo and that’s it
Also on the play station you need a ps plus subscription to play any of the multiplayer modes
Same goes for Xbox

Well you see, the Battlefront games are cursed, never to have a third installment in the sets of games, the originals only had BF1 and BF2, the PSP I think had Renegade Squadron and Elite Squadron, and EA has BF1 (2015) and BF2 (2017)

I have very mixed feelings on this game ngl. i got it on xbox a while ago. it CAN be fun, but unless you're a REALLY GOOD player that is going to depend in large part on pure luck. I'm not a great player, gonna say that off the bat. I can't just "get good" either, I just generally struggle to react to things fast. or move and aim at the same time even remotely accurately. But I'm not expecting to do great things here, im expecting to die a lot and get an occasional kill or two.
My issues primarily stem from team balancing, or the lack thereof, especially in GA. Both in the sense of available units (imperial walkers can be a pain as rebels, droideka on supremacy ship phases, etc) and skilled player distribution, and typically both of those combined. I do not need to win to have fun, mind you. But to me theres a difference between knowing we're losing but making them work for it (like having them need overtime or at least briefly holding a point down or partially completing an objective) and just having one team dominate completely to the point the other team cant do anything.
I have had so many matches where Heroes would show up in phase 1 and my team would just get instakilled the momemt we got anywhere close to other players, having to start running across the map again. And that's only when said heroes don't straight up start spawn camping. I've had matches where my team didnt get to our objectives once during whole sections because we either had our open air spawn being spammed with AOE blasts from across the map or had the one or two exits of our indoor spawn blocked by 4 heroes and some backup just waiting for anyone to try and get out. Again, I do not mind losing games. I do not mind dying quite a bit during a match. But there is literally nothing to be enjoyed if I am being actively prevented from even playing the game by cheap tactics and awful team balancing. There is nothing fun about being instakilled over and over before you even get the chance to do anything.
I've had some wonderful matches in this game, wins and losses, that were a blast. But I've had far more matches where it was just a completely one-sided sweep where one team had most of the best players and at times more players generally, added to by either getting killed the moment you tried doing anything or just getting spawn camped by heroes. Having fun in this game can be really really difficult some days.
Everytime I give this game a chance, I have to wait 5 minutes for a full server only to end up getting killed by Darth Maul or some other annoying hero character multiple times throughout every single match while my teammates are never cooperating. The game's shallow class system, weak infantry combat, and heavy emphasis on jedi power fantasy characters RUINS this game for me. There's a reason why Battlefield 1 and 5 are able to maintain a consistent 3000 players while Battlefront 2 EA struggles to reach 1000.
I'd love to play it, but it's networking sucks ass and there are no Australian servers

You can have little skirmishes with space battles and with mods you can play offline conquest on all maps that aren’t officially supported, play with a lot more heros, villains and new unique reinforcements, maps, but it really depends what platform you’re on as clearly you’ll get more enjoyment being a pc player since you have mods available to you
