I've noticed ever since BF4's QoL updates (minimap resizing, reticle adjusting, UI resizing, etc), Dice has been launching their games WITHOUT those QoL features only to add (some of) them in later, and people praise them for it. I'm fully expecting the next BF to have the exact same thing happen, followed by the fanbase mindlessly thanking them for adding features they forgot we already had. I also can't wait for the "2042 was actually really good" history revision if the next BF sucks. I'm just really glad BF4 and BF1 seem to still be alive. I wish BF3 didn't have the missfortune of having a terrible browser launcher, and I have no idea why everyone dropped hardline so fast. RIP BC2.
