This is what nib testing should be, constant testing easy to compare between nibs. That nib log is so useful, I wish fountain pen companies would have that on their site, and do that for their inks too.
Usually people would just write the alphabet side by side, I mean the distance is noticeable but that dashes line thickness comparison is so much more accurate and give a better sense of how think it is.

It seems that EF and F are more like Japanese sizes.
Also M,B,BB are thinner than usual western sizes too.

Thank you! I made the right choice with a EF, my favorite EF is the platinum preppy so looking for something smililar, all of my other EFs are 0.7

You can always get just a nib and swap the larger nib size onto your pen :)

is this truly how kaweco EF writes? I've heard others say its writes like a Japanese F and this is the only example I've seen we're the EF seems truly EF.

I got a steel kaweco sport in BB and it almost seem a medium. I'm curious to see if a gold B nib is a bit bigger.
