  • I checked into a new hostel today called Grampa's Hostel. It's a very cozy hostel, right in the center of the city. It's also near some of the small islands, located throughout Wroclaw. This city has a bunch of small islands and tons of bridges. Today we are going to explore some of those islands and cross some of the bridges, to see what is on each of them. Many people here also have boats, to travel up and down the various canals in the city. Wroclaw is a city set on the Odra river, it's full of beautiful nature and lot's of waterways. Come take a look at the river and the islands of the city.

    What a very cool hostel. Unbelievable how nice it is. This definitely is the city of bridges and islands. Very nice video Kerry.

      It's a very nice place and run by a two very sweet Polish women. It's also very clean and in a good location. Yes there are canals and bridges everywhere.

    if you came to Wyspa Slodowa on Friday or Saturday evening you would see a crowd of party people. The city in this area pulsates with discos clubs beach bars located along the river

      @@TravelAddictGuy so crazy , lots of loud students from Spain Portugal and many others I love them Straight from the pubs I went with them to random house parties There are also Asians but they can't stand drinking alcohol with Poles. Wroclaw is a friendly city

    Wyspa means island. Wasp is osa.

      It's interesting because in Italian, Vespa means wasp. In Spanish, avispa also means wasp. I see that Polish is going to be tough. Thank you for correcting me. 🙏😄🇵🇱😎

      @@TravelAddictGuy They are not difficult. They just violate all English pronunciation restrictions. Polish does not impose any restrictions on what may or may not be pronounced, as long as it is doable. (like English k-n, p-t, p-s, k-s that are not allowed to be pronounced in the beginning of words). So here they go: bumble bee is trzmiel, bee is pszczoła and beetle is chrząszcz(rz, sz, cz and ch are digraphs)
