Hey girl! I like this idea of taking a proverb and discuss it. This proverb is so convicting. I feel like the Lord has helped me a lot in the last year or so regarding to guide my heart, especially in what I am watching. I always, almost instantly feel the stirring from the Holy Spirit when I am watching something I just shouldn't be watching. Thanks for the encouragement and inspiring me through this new series💕

I agree, we need to be careful of what we are consuming to protect our hearts and souls. There’s a show I used to watch in my early 20s that had some very disturbing scenes in it that sometimes will randomly come to my mind and all I can think about is how I wish I had never ever seen them. Our hearts are so precious and should always be filled with love towards one another ❤❤ I am looking forward to more of this series 😊

I absolutely LOVE the way you took this verse!! I went to a women’s brunch back in august and this verse was the theme, and every time I read the verse I immediately thought it meant to be careful who you become vulnerable around and that sort but I LOVE when you listed the definitions of “guard” because then it clicked!! BECAUSE the heart is deceiving we need to be on guard with what may flow from it!! I discovered your channel a few days ago and I am SO grateful to the Lord that I have!! I love how your videos aren’t too long so I can watch them and get a quick fix of encouragement AND cleaning motivation!! You are walking in the Lords will for your life EVERY time you make a video!! I am now encouraged to get in that Word for a second time today just so I can make some notes of some of the points you brought up 🙌💕 keep up the great work

I wanted a homemaking channel that you could get motivation from, but that also provided encouragement through God's word. I have just felt the need to sneak away and just “guard my heart” from the outside world, expectations, comparisons, etc. And honestly it has been helping me.

That is good to know. Tomorrow's video doesn't have an intro. I have been trying to play around with things to find a good style that I like. I have a hard time with that as well. I am doing the Bible in a year plan on Youversion and surprisingly I have been sticking to that. But any other plan I struggle so much with. 🙈🙈 I was just bouncing around all over the place before I started it. Psalm 139 is one of my favorites too. But Psalm 27 is like my life Psalm. Lol
