Good day Lowko, I been watching your game after a while. Always liked the casting, gets me through my semester at Polytech. Since I have been watching a while though, we have some pretty damn good play, but there is one thing we havent seen yet. Viking, Liberator Medivac. Viking in ground mode still get insane damage boost with air upgrade, but we havent seen them getting used like that often.
This really shows as many angles of attack as possible generally is a better way of going. Which of course is harder to do. Hell, I have a hard enough time working two areas of a map
Killing those SCVs opened up so much supply for Gumiho's army..... It really allowed him to push with the most powerful of all-ins. Would you say he should've left the SCVs alone (because Mules) and only gone after the production, Lowko?
Terran faking out the unit composition against protoss works quite well since protoss takes alot of time to switch to new counter units. ...I find against zerg it doesn't work as well because everything is built at the hatchery.
I just recently started playing again after a longer break, to me it seems like Protoss vs Terran is way better balanced than Protoss vs Zerg. I feel like giving the Tempests their "Disintegration" ability back would be a nice idea, though perhaps with less overall damage dealt. I just feel like a siege unit ( and the Tempest is a siege unit ) should not have such a ridiculously low DPS. Especially not considering it costs so much to build, takes so long to build, and takes up a whooping 5 supply
I feel like many overestimate the power of Terran to transition between compositions they even have squishy units and cheap units (You would think Zerg would be the expendable race but just look at corruptors vs vikings) to make it even more worth it
I feel so bad when I see that the terran loses, I see one game after another and I only see how the biological is used, but very little does the terran use the mech, I think that the power of the terran mech is unknown in its entirety, we trust our so Dear Crucio Tank, and we forget about the powerful liberator that is practically an air tank, against the protoss I use: tank, cyclone, thor, liberator, Vikings and crows for the annoying dark templars.
Missile turrets would have ended that warp in harassment quickly. Even I know to build missile turrets to defend from prisms, worms, or medivac drops. And I'm only Platinum.
I guess its just the pro mentality, they are so confident in their micro and the ability to defend that they feel like building 5-6 turrets is wasted minerals that could've went into an extra orbital instead but in reality it just ends up costing them more. Just look at a few games from this video th-cam.com/video/3JLylgKeIPo/w-d-xo.html its from winterstarcrafts channel, this terran builds banshees every game and gets 10-20 workers every time and wins off that, you'd think that the players would build at least one photon canon in the mineral line but no, they build a shield battery that does jack shit against 2 banshees and end up with 20 dead probes, every damn game even after playing 3 games in a row with him using the same strategy and getting scouted and they are master level
They need to find a way to plan for breaking out of a soft contain. Maybe do a little of soft containing themselves as well. A constant marine marauder push on outlying enemy bases does pretty well while not eating too much of the supply for the mech composition.
Thank you for posting yet another Protoss win by Warp Prism harass. A few more of these and they might just fix it. I’m sorry but pick up distance needs a nerf. Just that simple.
I'm so confused. There was no immortals in this game. I wonder why. Immortals are the strongest anti mech units. If terran had played a little more efficiently, he would have definitely won, because protoss had no means of defeating his army. Dear only won because GuMiho's brain broke and he made mistakes such as getting his weakened BCs to fight stalkers on the other side of the map. If protoss built immortals, he would have held against these mech units very easily. So why not build them?
This video shows just how sh!tty Mech is vs Protoss: even without Disruptors, Gumiho was absolutely murdered and harassed non stop while at the same time Protoss was having a huge eco lead. Absolutely disgusting (

I used to be a Grandmaster Protoss player but then I took an arrow to my knee.
