He did a very good job at controlling his resources throughout the match, and by the time the constant DT/Tempests took a toll on his gas it didn't really matter and he could just keep spamming Zealots to provide the disruption the DT started.
It wasn´t only DT´s, it were zealots + DT so the army wasn´t that expensiv but still did damage and had invisible fighters. SO all in all a really annoying force to deal with.
Nice use because terran didnt close correctly bases it shouldnt have happend (even tho Maru is a GOD playing Terran he can still makes mistake; he is Human after all)
Classic tried the same strat in the final and Maru learnt how to handle it by walling off and transitioning to BCs and just absolutely destroyed protoss with it.
Nanorepair for mech unit should be staple!!!!! + medivac that can actually heal 2 target at once!!! vikings with the medivac speed boost upgrade to speed through those storms and/or the stunning ability from Nova's Goliath would really make them just be GOOD! (cuz at the moment vikings are such a simple unit that they are weak compared to other air units)
Oh this is so much fun to watch seeing the protoss fighting units that they out-heal, out-range, out-speed, out-aoed while having basically no counters for terran in late game. Literally every single TvP late game. So much fun.

One nuke = an entire drone line dead. I mean, if you can figure out where they are coming from, good - but with 50 all over the place, you would be at a near state of constant drone pulling, making sure - it expensive for you - but twice as expensive for your opponents if you use the ghosts in any way intelligent (like Maru). And that isn't talking about the other infrastructure damage and lesser health buildings one-shotted. Or the fact that not only do you have to cycle through your 6-10 bases late game, but also your army - which can be expensive, and one-shotted, and cost way more than all your nukes ever did. So yes, in many situations, it makes sense to even spam the ever living shit out of them. Sure, they are expensive, but even if only 15% of them hit, you are winning the game.

They need to throw campaign perks and twerks from both teams in there. Carriers have repair drones.. bunkers hold more unites but same HP. Stuff like that.
think they should just have a generic word for these. "Primary" sounds good. "Main" doesn't work since that's your initial base, and "base" doesn't work since thats everything, including tech and production.
Because is the only thing they can do vs the stupid tank/lib thing... But that's tier3 units vs tier2 so the Terran player lost in his own game which clearly indicates who is the best player....
@Orchidahus Pretty much this. Ravens are all fine and dandy, but they only have one real use: detection. They're not an effective force multiplier capable of actually stopping the DTs from doing their harassment. Using them for just the detection would have been a waste of resources, I think. And Maru spent most of the game really stretched thin on resources.
so, a question, is it not possible to set unit health bars to be visible ifnot full on spectator? it would be nice to see if an army is half hurt when they engage

Not when he is being wasteful with his units and not defending / respecting the Warp Prism plays enough. Lategame is all about efficiency and Maru was the king of 'inefficient' in that game. Dear took advantage and built a massive economy. He could afford to throw away 20 zealots and still have a 5k bank...
