Whats your favorite tractor of all time to run? If Both of you could answer that be cool. I still like late 80's Ford TW 5 tractor i had the most and next would be the 4630 i had before that.
8310 hands down. Last of the metal hoods, with all the comforts and convenient controls of the new tractors, without all the ridiculous extra electronics. 2 nd place would be ford 8000. For open cab work always liked that tractor, and 3 point hitch is great on those tractors.
Interestingly Molly, i was going to ask what wild animals you see on a regular basis but initially i was thinking things like Deer and Rabbits/Hares... Here in the Gloucestershire England we often see Foxes, Badgers, and the odd Deer and Muntjacs.. cheers and keep up the great work 🚜
That is a great question! I am going to try and remember to talk about that on an upcoming video. But regulars are deer, foxes, hawks, osprey, ground hogs, porcupines, turkey and I hear coyotes often but only see them occasionally. Thank you :)

Looks like you need to do a clean out on Shanes tractor. When living in Roswell NM I worked at my father in laws automotive machine shop. We has some ranchers with one of their fields behind us. Every year they had many many truck loads of manure (they also had a dairy) spread over that field, not only the smell but it drew fly's.
Hahah Shane’s tractor…. I will say that if the air conditioner worked it probably would not be so bad in there. That was me last year. Door and window open and lots of dirt inside the cab. Luckily the smell was short lived. Once I knew what the smell was, it wasn’t so bad. Sometimes just know what it is makes it better lol. Sorry about the flys! I hate flying. I call them Nemesis!
Years ago I was traveling from Rutland Vt northbound on route 7 on a hot summer day. Around Leister a tractor with a brim full load of liquid chicken Sh.. er Manure pulled out in front of me slopping it all over the road. I drove through it. That is the worst smell ever.

Hey Molly, So the Ripper you're driving today as a piece of farm equipment, does the farm usually purchase new or do you source some used tractors. If you buy them new what is the going interest rate and how long is the loan period? How long does a tractor last you? I would guess 10-15 years if not longer.
Hey there, the has always buy tractors used. They are very very expensive. Tractors last us a very long time. We have 10 or 11 tractors on the farm. One of them is from 1960’s, that one was bought new the John Deere 4000.
So we used to buy them brand new, we have a 67 ford 8000 we bought new, a 69 4000 bought new, a 89 4255 bought new, a 92 4455 bought new, and a 04 Massey 5460 we bought new, all still in use. That was when tractors were affordable , now a used tractor will cost 100 grand ish, buying new just doesn’t make sense. A tractor will last pretty much forever though with maintenance and repairs
Chicken manure good Lord. I remember working on the Eastern Shore in Va. and they have tons of chicken farms. If you think a cat box smells bad a chicken farm is a cat box multiplied about 7 3/4 times. 😂
hahahaha i drive and go all over the world a lot and one thing i always have to have is clean windows.. trash all over but nope gotta be able to see out.. see what is coming or going. And AND i got all my potatoes planted hahaha all 80 plants hahahaha and coming up great. And since that field flooded???? maybe what your smelling is some dead fish? if they are in the field it would be awesome just to till them in and use them as fertilizer.. Americans first.... my grandmother always said you grand kids go out and catch me a bunch of carp.. and that is what she used for the garden... worked awesome. plants flourished really well with the fish as fertilizer. Grandpa used a manure spreader years later to grind them up and spread them in the garden then tilled them under. Too bad he didn't have a chipper,.. that would have worked great. take care be safe have fun life is always an adventure. and you Shane and Bells farms are living one of the best.

@@BellsFarming That explains your beautiful teeth!
Hey Molly,
So the Ripper you're driving today as a piece of farm equipment, does the farm usually purchase new or do you source some used tractors.
The smell is Molly ripped one?
Haha
Chicken manure good Lord. I remember working on the Eastern Shore in Va. and they have tons of chicken farms. If you think a cat box smells bad a chicken farm is a cat box multiplied about 7 3/4 times. 😂
That chicken litter smell, is the smell of money LOL
Hahaha
We see Shane and his Big Disc! 😅
Hahahahahahahahshhs
hahahaha i drive and go all over the world a lot and one thing i always have to have is clean windows.. trash all over but nope gotta be able to see out.. see what is coming or going.
Hey! Glad you’re back, I did notice you hadn’t left a comment on a while. Fish in the garden. That makes me think of native Americans! Very cool! Good job on your potato plants!! I hope you have a great growing season!

Hey Molly! What part of Ohio? We have family near the PA line. Congratulations on the rest of the potatoes being planted. Sorry about the wobbly disc.
Hey Steve! I hope all is well. I grew up in Vermilion. Small town between Sandusky and Cleveland right on Lake Erie. Poor wobbly disc. I guess now it will finally get fixed after almost 10 years. Hahah thanks Steve !
