Bro, battery technology is changing pretty fast. Now sodium ion batteries are coming and lithium ion and Manganese batteries are also coming. My question is tht is the ev scooter compatible with different type of batteries? For e.g.if I go with Ather 450x now, may be after 4 yrs, if I want to change my battery to a better battery type at that time(better charge cycle, lesser in size, shorter charging period etc), do Ather support it?

It depends on the quality of cells and its usage. Range will reduce when the recharge cycle increases but it will be gradually reduced over a period of time

நான் ola s1 use பண்றேன்,
ஒருமுறை charge பண்ணுனா 100km ஓடுது, ஒருமுறை charge பண்ணுனா 3 யூனிட் செலவாகும், 3 யூனிட்க்கு 15rs தான்
ஆனா பெட்ரோல் வண்டிக்கு 100 km செலவு 2 ltr ×103=206 ஆகும்...
அதற்கு தான் நாம் total mileage எடுத்திருக்கிறோம்.

நண்பா s1 Best ஆ இருக்கா. நான் ACTIVA 125 use பண்ணுறேன். Mileage 30 kmpl வருது. 2016 model. So sale பண்ணிட்டு s1 எடுக்க பயமா இருக்கு நண்பா.
Yes 60000km/100 = 600 யூனிட் x 8/unit = 4800 curent bill+110000= 115000/60000= 1.91 /km. But petrol cost for 60000km id 250000+70000=320000/60000= 5.33 total so totalally 200000 rupees savings
வணக்கம் bro , E V சுமார் விலை 1,30,000 ÷ 70000km = Rs 1.86, ஒரு க மீ க்கு ரூ1.86 + EB bill, Petrol வாகனங்கள் Rs Petrol 103 ÷ 50KM/L = Rs 2.06 ஒரு கி மீ க்கு so பெட்ரோல் வாகனங்களை விட EV ல் ஒரு கி மீ க்கு 20 பைசா லாபம் . இரண்டாவது முறை EV வாங்குபவர்களுக்கு மான்யம் கிடையாது

EV price = 1,20,000 rs for scooter S1 model + electricity 15,000 for 50,000km in 5 years = 1,35,000 Rs
Petrol scooter = 80,000rs + (50000 km x 2 rs) = 1,80,000 Rs A difference of 45000rs of which you can send to replace battery of scooter for 45000rs for 3kw battery price currently is 15000rs per kw. So exactly. After 5 years it will be less. Also add maintenace cost of 20,000rs for petrol scooter extra. So you have saved 20,000rs even with 100rs per litre petrol price for next 5 years.

@@SharkFishSF wrong thought, ev won't impact on grid. EV only needs 4 units /day but think about AC = 1.5 units/ 1hr, Water heater = 3 units/hr and much more. Now a days in 1 House 2 AC needed.

Not to include passenger vehicles, buses etc. Grid will crumble for sure without capacity addition. That's why Maruti has introduced hybrid and not pure ev.

Yes bro if you use less you can able to stretch the life. However battery aging also depends on years of use and the maintenance we do on it. Yes we can stretch upto 10years but i doubt upto 15years.

Sir I have run Amphere Magnus EX with 11,000 km. Also I have taken 2 years additional insurance. Company said that u can run 40,000. After that I need to purchase new battery for rs. 45,000 or I need to give for battery service.
Amphere will not provide battery service they always recommend to replace the battery.
