Sad seeing a soldier fall, especially knowing how easily this could translate to real life events. Couldn't imagine how it'd feel watching my brothers die like that so suddenly back to back. Always hold major respect for veterans of any sort, even if they didn't fight; they were willing to die for their country man.
@@jt.8144 What? What are you talking about? I'm just saying, having to experience something like that isn't something I'd be prepared to deal with. Why are you randomly bringing up "my internet reality"
It's morbidly astonishing how suddenly things can go wrong so fast. It was scary as hell in the end to realize 'These guys, these experts, might not have this'.
Man I hope your influence changes the scene of first person shooters. I LOVE ground branch. The customization is so amazing. The map design, graphics, sound and feel of the shots. It’s a great game. Ready or not looks great as well, I just haven’t played it. I really hope these types of games gain more traction in the industry.
GLID: "Not losing a man tonight." Oooh, that one hurt. 😢 Seriously, though, excellent on keeping track of each other's condition. I feel like in multiplayer games we just kind of forget to look after our team, so seeing you immediately adjust your strategy to protect a vulnerable brother is amazing.
RIP JTF Vigil.. Lol. Great stuff as always, the tactics, the comms, the breakdown.. This isn't gaming, this is educating. GLID University, get a bachelors in taking out bad guys. Lol.
Of all the tactical gaming channels I’ve watched this has got to be my favorite. Just finished the mw2 playlist and it was awesome. You’re doing an awesome job, Glid. Keep it up!
No one can join us unless they are trained or joined Jtf vigil in the discord to receive proper training. We don't run with untrained people it will get us killed. Come join us but get your training first.
I love this! Evaluating after an op. Everyone giving there take and giving feedback. Super interesting and infomative. This is kinda like the old videos. Love that you kept this run even tho there were a lot of casualties. This is exactly why i watch this channel and love it💪💪💪!!!
I don't know if your still reading these but you guys make this so real I love it keep doing what you do with these it's amazing and thank you all for your service
Cleared this with a two man stack today, hard clear, but manageable. Tough hallways! Great to see the teamplay and tactics in usual GLID fashion! Lovely stuff, even if it was a tough one. The best of us often don't make it home On a side note, would love to see you guys play some with Matsimus. He's Canadian Army, and he also does Squad and a few other games every so often. Might be nice!
It would be cool if you done a real life demonstration of room clearing and explain when and why to use different breaching methods. That would be 100% amazing.
SHMEVAN REPRESENT! . . . That was freaking dicey as heck. I felt for everything that was happening in that op. Smooth comms, smooth actions, a little hesitation here and there as you guys worked the room, but ultimately, you guys were freaking awesome! The downs caught me off guard, I'm trying to keep calm even watching on, trying to figure out what would I do in a situation like this, what would I say, how would things change? I'm glad those who remained kept it together and was able to complete the op. Especially proud of Shmevan representing us Civis performing high-level, tactical precision and rolling with the big boys. I do appreciate the after action report, you guys taking time to discuss what went right and what went wrong. Usually refer to Deathscreens when it comes to their tactical analysis videos, because there's a...LOT to cover on this one. Looking to get back into this myself. Always glad to see it.
Shmevan is absolute unit. The way he improved over that short amount of time is very impressive for sure. I'm proud to be a Bison Operator alongside with such teammates.
The guy inside the barrel in the basement, he was being melted in acid. Used to happen quite often in my country between the 70es and 90es. It’s sickening. Really good gameplay, thanks guys. If you need more peripheral vision, try playing around with FOV.
Watching you guys work makes me feel like it's real record of special ops entry. These comms, tactics, professionalism...coolness. Seeing you keep fighting even after losing 4 soldiers made me feel...uncomfortable. "What if they won't handle this? What if they die?" It's a damn videogame! But I feel it like it's a real men engaging this damn Motel... Thank you! That was a wonderful work on this video! P.S. sorry if there are mistakes in the comment. I'm from Russia, and English is not my language... still, you have my respects. :)
good to know that actual irl marines even die on that damn mission, makes me feel a bit better about the amount of times i die XD but i loved this video, i like how when the men went down you still kept your procedure like you would in real life, its kinda emotional too, cause just picture you actually being there, and youve done a bunch of missions with them and theyve all gone routine, no one got injured, maybe a few close calls for the story book, but when they actually die and its often by surprise and not a lack of awareness, just just pure nature that their time was up due being human and not being able to be perfect 100% of the time, and even if you are somehow, things can still be out of your control, but i just pictured myself there and how losing a mate in the blink of an eye would be something so heavy to carry with you if you survived, it would be so gut wrenching to have to continue on with the job or future jobs knowing one of your brothers is not with you and also how it could be you next, youd have to be one strong metal brained mother fucker to be a marine of that caliber. i commend every man that has had the misfortune of living that experience for real, i couldnt even begin to understand the pain, but hats off you guys do the dirty work so the world stays clean.
I also enjoyed watching the after action report a lot! Perhaps you could start a “director's interview” version, reviewing the operation in a different video and narrating over it where it could go better or where it went well and why.
I love your videos keep it going dont stop. When i get the ready or not game im going to join with you and your crew I need some military tactics training for the game. And I like to a member of the community ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
I mean you have to consider that, this is a HUGE map, and it has a million rooms, and a lot of bad guys, in real life the team would be at least of 10 guys, so i think it was an amazing job to everyone being a small group, the comms were on point, the tactics, all really good, but yeah, shit happens, and a crazy guy with an Ak in a pizzeria happens too haha, but really great mission, amazing editing too. Congrats to all of you.
The worst job you can get, is the one where you need to order your men to enter a room, because one miss step, on bad flash, one small area that you didnt clear will make you have to explain to their mothers why their sons are in a black plastic bag behind yellow tape, slow is smooth, smooth is fast, fast is deadly, your training is never complete
Im not sure if you will ever see this but I just wished that there is somehow a indicator on who is currently talking like the ones on discord to make it easier for the viewers. I just currently subscribed so I dont know all of you guys yet but it has been a blast watching you guys. Keep it up man!

You might want to consider downloading the Gunfighter mod, or at least parts of it. ARs have short stocking, weapons fall back to the center a bit after firing, grips and suppressors have similar buffs now, weapons are lowered a bit, adds 9bangers, allows NVGs on by default without sacrificing flash goggles/gasmask/ballistic mask, increases armor pen of 5.56 (guys someitmes tank half a mag of the stuff without even going down, nevermind dying), very slightly increases your movement speed, etc. Best change by far is that it makes your armor actually stop rounds it takes that don't penetrate, instead of just seemingly providing a damage resistance. You'll live through more than 2 shots of 9x18mm Makarov to the stomach with level 4 plates, though don't expect to be able to tank a hail of gunfire. It's a really good addition that makes the game slightly more fair, considering how brutal this game is (AI can react faster than the human brain can). Might not suit your playstyle, but it's worth a read over the Nexus page to see the changes.
