- We drove the BYD Seal up Genting; with 530PS and 670Nm torque, this car delivers a punch without sacrificing control. Powered by a massive 82.5kWh battery, it has an outstanding WLTP range of 520km, allowing you to enjoy lengthy travels with ease.
19-inch wheels, with double wishbone suspension in the front and a multi-link configuration in the back, ensure a smooth and controlled ride. Additionally, the front brake discs have a drilled and ventilated design.

I own a B8 Passat 2.0 and M4C. This seal driving experience in terms of comfort and solidness are way higher than Passat. When come to power, Seal is almost like the M4C or maybe better. With the price tag of 200K, it is definetly a worth buying car. Well done BYD.
in one of the HK youtuber's video, a comparison was done that the chassis rigidity value is almost the same as Porsche Motorsports Cars, w222 S class, RR Phantom

BYD Trec staff are very friendly. I went there 2 times and both times they speak fluent Malay to us. They are also very knowledgeable.

Hahaha - It did quite well even on these eco tyres - I would really love to try out a set of SC7's - I think it will make a great difference. I am surprised how these eco tires were selected over the UC or SC considering the Seal was slotted to fight the T brand.
@YSKhongDriving personally I believe the SC7 is more refined for this car. Again, great review and walk around on the BYD Seal. 🎉

Tested both variant amazing car and huge value of car , my m5 cost me 800k also slightly miss the test drive haha it’s perfect comfort and balance handling yet most amazing the throttle respond , NA feel instant for Touge
Build quality too so comfortable to touch for. A 200k brand new car absolutely worth it

Thanks YS. I have a similar Seal so its great to see its capabilities in the hands of a professional campion. It will give me confidence to use more of the power on challenging roads. So far love the car after just over 1000km, I needed more performance than my ATTO 3 has to offer.

What an amazing car it is. Fun factor seems above bar. Passing the hump and bumps seems very smooth compare some others car Mr Khong driven. I bet you gain more range when descending and reaching Gombak toll.

Not at all. And yes, we did tue normal slowing down, no need to zigzag. No problem at all. No part of the body except the tyres touched anything.

About 56 percent. There was plenty of regen, and we drove at normal speed.
It’s funny how the drivers don’t know how to keep in lane, but are so polite to let you pass at the same time. I’m guessing this U.S. Malaysia? Must be a wonderful country to drive😂😂

uncle, do you feel a little bit off with tilt angle of the steering wheel? I think it need to be lower so the steering wheel facing straight to our body.
Hahaha, I just get into the most comfortable position - and it is not essential for the steering to be perpendicular to the body.

With the ground clearance ground clearance of 10 cm and the battery pack that is close to the road, no surprise, it drives solid. But what about pothole and a bit flooded roads?
If your driving area has floods and potholes, please buy a truck. However, you still need to be careful because even trucks have a maximum wading depth.

For 95 percent of people it is good enough, as you can ser how the car performed in the video. For the ones who want to eke out the last bits of performance, the tyred will make a slight difference at the limit of the car.
