Billy the shark is awesome.
I’ve seen it twice and and learning a lot of things and techniques on my model boat builds too. I think this is your third build. Very nice!!
Another great video. Good to see Jason again. Love the shark and Gato.
Great job, guys. The shark looks great in the water.
I hope Logan is feeling better, seems like he has been catching a few bugs lately. I know it's hard nowadays, but eat all the healthy foods you can.
I wondered what happened to Jason, good to see him again. Take care, Mike
Wow that video was packed with a lot of great content. I’m glad that Logan is better .
You probably already have it solved but, many moons ago I had a deep-vee speed boat with a similar ESC to the one you used in Billy. It actually had a flow sensor for the water cooling, no flow and it would shut down if the ESC started to get warm. That water cannon sub is gonna be SICK when it's operational!
Great stuff! That shark will be incredible! 😊
That shark is awesome
Nice job on video. Very informative! Keep it going!
I think that Sturgeon is a scale shipyard hull. Their nuclear subs are 1/96 with black gel coat with scribed details and that nice lip. I'm not so sure about the resin detail parts with it, they look much nicer than scale shipyards normal tan/yellow resin parts.
Billy the shark looks incredible in the water & turns so convincingly. After the wrinkles are ironed out I wonder if grey coloured nylon panty hose material over the flexible turn section might improve its appearance ?
Watch out Jaws attack!
Depending on what kind of 3d printer 3d prints are not water proof. Need to be sealed or will leak between layers.
I've done hundreds of prints, including for use in watertight cylinders. Proper print settings and 100% infill and you'll be fine. PLA is not ideal for hulls, as they tend to warp in the heat of a very hot summer day. The plastic, however, is perfectly fine for use with the water.
Nothing SUB-PAR about this show.
