I have been fly tying for about 8 years and I want to extend my knowledge. So, I decided to learn painting of Lures. I'm so, glad I found you, your going to be a big help to me. You are awesome and do such Beautiful work. Thanks and Merry Christmas !!..
That makes so much difference. I only have a basic spray gun... I didn't know the amount of pressure would make such a difference in detailing and getting the right consistency. Your videos are super helpful!!! Keep them coming.
Watched this video and the second it was over I went into my workshop and tried it out. I was finally able to achieve the color blends I’ve been trying to figure out how to get! Enjoy your videos, keep’em coming!!!!
So I’m a quadriplegic and stenciling is one of the hardest things for me. Any idea of products that may help someone with limited hand functions. Sticky stencils or something lol… btw love your videos definitely helped me out
There are several companies that produce hard plastic wrap around stencils for crankbaits. Cedar Run Outdoors is one company that has a fairly extensive number of choices. Here is an initial link, but I will continue to look for other options. cedarrunoutdoors.com/lure-building-and-craft/stencils-frisket-and-masking/ Click on “3D printed stencils” and then scroll towards the bottom for some options. Do you have limited function of both hands or just one hand? I’d like a bit more insight into how you are currently set up so I can try to assist with better solutions. Cheers and thank you for watching
@@Jekyll424 thank you! I appreciate that. Oh dang I have a 3D printer I wonder if I can find the files and make my own😂 So basically chest down paralysis both hands barely work fingers curl in lol it’s a pain but I’m figuring it out. but I’ve got a couple things from the links you’ve shared thatve made painting a bit easier but I’m working on affording a nice trigger airbrush like the iwata neo
I'm in trouble! I work in my detached garage/shed down here in New Orleans and have my paints and supplies stored there with no climate control...dang! Great tutorials! Thanks for sharing. Great information on the work area too.
When talking pressure are is it PSI or Bar ? and which size needle do you use? Im struggling hard to get soft sprays using pearlized and iridecent, so its either nothing or a LOT. :)
Perch is my favorite fish for taste and eating ( also trout ) maybe you can do a great catching color for perch, greatings from belgium, like you’re channel and tips
Most all of the products I use are listed with links in the video description. Iwata airbrush cleaner is on sale currently and is what I use every day. Stencil links are here too. Insane Custom Stencils 🇺🇸 and also Anarchy Model Stencils UK 🇬🇧 The airbrushes I use are these: amzn.to/3C14RYf
Hey this is Justin builders from Md on a different phone glad you're back I have a question. My shop is getting cold and can't really heat it $ wise any tips on how to keep hundreds of paints warm for winter
Hell yeah I love Ten Hundred! Been following him for a while & even took his course. Such a cool dude. Question for you & sorry if you've mentioned it in a previous video but I don't remember seeing/hearing it mentioned... did you swap your nozzle set up to the .5mm or do you just increase the psi?
Bluegill then walleye for me. How do you spray without thinning your paint? I've got the exact same gun and can never do it. I've got the .35mm needle, are you running the .5mm by chance?
@@Jekyll424 createx and I've tried 20-40, it's like it doesnt flow down to the bottom of the chamber. I'm still very new so I'm probably doing something wrong
Super helpful. Thx

What about building some sort of frame that you can slide a flat stencil into and setting a lure behind it on a helping hands tool?
@@Jekyll424 that’s kinda what I’ve been trying figure out I may be able to rig some clips up and tape the stencil or something in that nature
