Check out my Custom Lure Painting Log Book
If you are new to lure painting this is probably one of the best tools you can have. When I first started painting fishing lures I was so excited that I jumped in and started painting lure blanks without even thinking I may have to reproduce that lure again. A year later I wished I had this log book back then, because after painting a couple hundred lures sometimes remembering the colors I used, or where I even ordered the blank from became a problem.

Love the colors, Excellent job, I see your stencil work, we don’t have Musky|Pike down here but I like their pattern, could you do a stencil like that on a jerkbait, I’m interested, Thanks
Yes it will fit on most all jerkbaits. I'm adding more jerkbait stencils to the site LureStencils.com

I’d like to get one of those from you if you would make one.
I do make them They can be found here, lurestencils.com/product-category/110-mm-jerkbait/
I love that blue paint you used. It works amazingly well with the florescent yellow. Do you have a color code for it? I can't find it by name on the Vallejo web site?
It comes in a mixed pack called Space Dust it's code is 77.004 I think thats the only way you can buy it I tried to find just that color but no luck.
If you don't mind, where do you get these blanks that are quality ? The ones i have painted all the bills snap off fishing.
I believe Amazon, I haven't had any bills snap off.
Great Jon. Do you sell those stencil
Yes, I should have the links to get these very soon, look for the announcement in my next video!
Very nice work. Did you create that stencil on Cricut? If so, I have two questions. 1) How long does it take to ‘weed’ the stencil and 2) How many lures can you do before it wears out or doesn’t stick?
I do create most all my stencils. I have a quick way of weeding them with masking tape so really quick. I can usually get 10 to 20 lures out of a stencil but it just depends on how much paint. I'm going to do some stencil videos
