you make some really nice baits . this is roughly how i do my stencils, th-cam.com/video/r5aMnCBGZ6I/w-d-xo.html . i make a box with loads of holes and then a hole in the side so i can put the vacuum cleaner hose in . but the video gives you a rough idea of how it works .

When using the clay method do you still have to use a release agent such as cooking oil like when using glossy photo paper?
Yes a release agent is necessary using clay or resin.
