I use the regular zillion sv tw for bass and striper. I've caught numerous 40+ pound stripe on it. But I have the steez as well and literally can't tell much difference in the 2 as far as smoothness and drag.
Thanks for commenting! I feel the same, in my opinion I think it mostly is that the Steez feels more premium in the had when it comes to materials and build quality.
Have you notice any real difference in casting distance between the Zillion 1000 with SV-spool and Boost compared to this with Magforce Z-boost? Especially with 1/2-1 oz compact baits?
For sure casts a 1/2 oz comfortably! A lot of guys use them to throw TK’s. I throw up to 2 oz on mine. I like the previous model solely because of the bigger spool, but I like and use both. I have a ton of daiwa reels ranging from the coastal to the deps z2020. I guess I am a Daiwa fan boy 🤓

What size rod do you recommend to pair it with? I purchased this reel when I was in Japan.
Zero adjuster?

I haven’t really gotten a chance to try it out. But I bet it works great! Thanks for commenting!
Does the zillion have a drag clicker ?
Yes it does and it is very smooth!
How do you know in US dollars on there website
It usually says on the site and if it doesn’t you can easily convert it through Google.
Can this reel cast a half once comfortably?
I haven’t tried, but it is possible, I did not keep the reel.
