Then after a few videos they start showing their true self which wasn't what I expected (Not mentioning names) Thanks for this content and look forward to more. Peace!
Mike I am a gen z American and was too young to understand what my country was doing in Iraq and Afghanistan other than the propaganda I was fed. Now that I am older and know the truth all I feel is love and pain for all the countries that have been torn apart by the disastrous US foreign policy. Thank you for showing these places and people so much love and respect it really means a lot. I hope to one day live in a world where we can heal these horrific scars but it doesn’t feel like that will happen anytime soon. ❤
I hope your work continues to re-shape how people think about these beautiful places and people you share with us. Your videos help confirm the belief that we are all so much more similar than we are different. These people have endured such hardship and still welcome you as a brother and friend, despite their horrible past experiences with people who look just like you. That says so much about the Iraqi people. Safe travels, Mike.
Keep up the amazing work, you really manage to capture the feel, the mood and even the smallest details and dynamics in all those places you visit. Amazing work and an amazing person behind it.
Mike your authenticity is such a beautiful and unique part of your videos. Your comment at the end about not needing to talk to the people about the horrific past of Mosul is why so many people love you.

But it's also beautiful how they are trying hard to overcome by rebuilding and how friendly everyone is. Thanks for another awesome video Mike

Hey there Mike, there are way too many comments here for you to see mine but in case you do, thank you for your content. I'm a new subscriber and also from Iraq, Baghdad but currently living in Germany due to all of those wars and destruction. Seeing how you're visiting all those places and actually expressing how emotional it got you is just indescribable. Thank you for showing the world the true image of my country. Thank you for being so respectful to literally everyone you meet. Truly brilliant man with amazing content. Please keep it up!
From watching your videos you have become one of my favorites... Honest, down-to-earth, open-minded and truely passionate. In the past i've watched other travel youtubers and initially loved their videos.
Big love from iraq ❤
Recently came across this channel. Subscribed after the first vid.. those Iraq videos are raw and authentic. Thanks Mikey for showing the real Iraq!
How lovely and kind were all the people he met? This is so heartwarming!
There are beautiful people all over the world. Most of us are kind and caring. I love to see it. Ali is the homie. :)
Hands down the most down to earth vlogger. Shakran habbibi
This was one of the best videos I've watched in a while. I am amazed by the Iraqis incredible kindness.
The people here are so friendly and filled with smiles! Love to see it!
Keep up the amazing work, you really manage to capture the feel, the mood and even the smallest details and dynamics in all those places you visit. Amazing work and an amazing person behind it.
I teared-up watching this video !!! Thanks for taking us along....
Mike your authenticity is such a beautiful and unique part of your videos. Your comment at the end about not needing to talk to the people about the horrific past of Mosul is why so many people love you.
Thanks again Mike for showing us the beautiful humanity in Iraq. Peace to all out there.
I can feel the emotion threw the screen. You are a lovely guy, positive and lots of respect for the people, thanks for sharing!

Fantastic videos Mike, very honest and heartwarming showing us the ordinary folk around the world and their love and respect for others. I hope your foot is all healed now (no pun intended). Keep them videos coming and keep up the great work opening our eyes to the reality of the world. Much respect to you.
Hello, I live in Sweden with my family. All the videos were very touching. You made me cry, my brother.

I love you so much. Make more videos in Iraq. I have been eagerly waiting for the video
Iraqi people are so hospitable, they have suffered a lot but regardless they do everything to make sure their guests feel welcome. May Iraq prosper ❤

0:43 - absolute goated TH-camr out there speaking his own free mind
I had to look up what 'goated' means. I agree with you 100%.
As a second generation Iraqi who lives abroad this video and all your videos in Iraq are so special to me because i never got to see my country so I’m seeing it through your videos and it has me in tears, our people have lost so much the ones who does and the ones who had to migrate which is a really ugly experience really and even those who had to stay in a destroyed country and rebuild it from nothing, thank you so much Mike for being nice to the Iraqi people you don’t understand how much it means we are almost never treated nicely by any country or anyone, this warms my heart so much, thank you again for sharing so much love and understanding in this cold and cruel world it’s very much needed, don’t stop making these beautiful videos ❤️
Man you literally make me energy to start a TH-cam video. I am starting TH-cam video because of you. you are my hero. I can't wait to meet you. I hope and I believe I will meet you one day
You do amazing work man! It's awesome to see someone like you visiting this country. Can't wait to see you checking out my city next!
Just discovered your channel as a Brit with aspirations to travel like yourself, fucking awesome stuff man!
Love everything you do man, appreciate all the great content!
My pleasure!
I love how you acknowledge and realize that asking about how it was to people is not needed, it's so sad seeing how ruined everything is, and just like the city the people carry equal scars inside. But it's also beautiful how they are trying hard to overcome by rebuilding and how friendly everyone is. Thanks for another awesome video Mike
love your vids man, thanks for showing us your travels. your videos are so heartwaming, tbh. love seeing the smiles on peoples faces when you're introducing yourself, like the driver in the beginning. stay safe (not that you haven't shown that these places are presented worse than they are, but just in general)
I appreciate that!
I have been watching you for 6 months now and never realised I was not subscribed. I am now! Thank you for your amazing content, it is truly amazing!
Welcome aboard!
