I have been living in Sydney for nearly 20yrs & would like to share that the “2 hr lunch break” thing really depends on your profession and work-culture of the company. Generally lunch break is only 30mins-1hr across industries and the locals are prompt to get back to work. It is true though that working overtime “as a habit” is discouraged by management due to work-life balance. Food: Sydney is a very multicultural city so you will find lots of Asian cuisines (Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Malaysian, Korean) highly concentrated in the Chinatown area but also scattered in many other normal residential suburbs. There are also lots of Chinese concentrated suburbs around Sydney that are like little Chinatowns.

I am living in Toronto now. I know how difficult the decision is for you. I've met a few from England, Ireland, and Australia over years. They are about your age - just got out of school a few years ago. Everyone has their reasons to come to Canada. Sydney is a different region, so you need to think climate differences especially when you miss white X'mas.
I've met some Scottish, Irish, and French friends in Toronto too. They all really love living in Toronto. They all said they prefer Toronto's inclusivity and multiculture.

Australia is a great place to live with great outdoor space, weather and people. The only down side is too far away from Europe (22 hrs. flight time) and North America (18+ hrs. flight time). Canada is a good choice except the winter in Ontario can be quite harsh.

laugh jor. after all the analysis, you play feel. adding onto your analysis, canada is in general much more welcoming on immigrants, when comparing to the other two countries. Toronto has bad coffee, unfortunately. food is more diversified and closer to the US style. you can definitely find good food (and bad food). regarding to work culture, it also depends on the company i guess. we find my colleagues in the UK very hea compared to us in Canada. last thing about landscape: Toronto is very flat and has no sea. we have lots of lake though. it is fun driving a boat in those water canals.

The winter is getting warmer due to global warming and summer is getting hotter in Toronto. A lot of sunny days throughout the year. People are getting more efficient and hardworking than before. Apart from a couple of Chinatowns in Sydney (e.g. Chinatown in CBD, Chatswood, Ashfield ...), Chinese restaurants or takeaways can be found in almost every suburb over there. To make a judgment on economic performance and prosperity, one has to check the basic economic factors such as GDP per capita, GDP growth rate, and unemployment rate. Not sure if Canada is the best in terms of economic outlook amid the 3 countries.
How much one young lad can expect to earn after tax and how much he/she may save for the family? Among these cities, which one is within 30-minute drive from the city centre to beaches for water sports, to hills for hiking, to theme parks for family gathering, etc. ? 😀😀

Sydney’s weather is the best. You can travel and do sports all year round. Many Chinese restaurants in many suburbs in Sydney, not just in china town. You should travel more in Sydney before making your decision.

Welcome to Canada! I was studying in Toronto and now I am in Vancouver. You said you like outdoor activities, playing with dogs. Vancouver (metro Vancouver, not just city of Vancouver) is better than Toronto such as warmer weather, less crazy snowing, got mountains and sea to have better lsndscape rather than flat/plain areas in Toronto. More closest to. Asia especially to HK. Both Vancouver and Toronto housing prices are high but you can choose the cities or areas not so close to downtown and it's ok as more and more people are now work from home. Anyway, your call!

如果去了加拿大移民，時差亂哂，亦會和大中華區的客戶完全脫節。我的situation 澳洲最ideal, 因我幾份工都是打亞太區總部的工。不過現在很多公司將會將總部從香港搬走去星加坡或悉尼。
至於倫敦，我在那裏讀過好幾年書。你住過澳洲就絕不會想再住英國，不然不會有這麼多英國人千方百計想移民澳洲。

去加勒比海四個小時，佛羅里達三個小時。好方便呀！冬天加拿大人飛去南邊陽光與海灘。
係香港去石澳、清水灣搭巴士就到，係多倫多安大略湖沿岸有湖灘，要去海灘要坐三、四小時飛機。
我在澳洲住係Sydney 已經25年，從剛來到現在發展好吾到，以前做任何事情都要出去唐人街，但現在周圍都有好多亞洲人聚集的，買餸都好方便，什麼東南亞國家食品都有，出街食亞州菜都好多。

論天氣，移民聚居既幾個熱門城市，由西岸到東岸，其實都有清晰四季。一個國家，如果一年裡面有4個月熱熱的夏天，清爽的秋天，風光明媚，應該算好對得住大家。大佬呀，早幾日+30幾度，冷氣機開不停。嗰D只會講加拿大好冷好冷，系閉門造車。補充：以上說weather。 論 Climate，雖然加拿大各大城市年中都會有一天半天，幾個小時的 windstorm,暴雨，但絕少颱風，tornado, earth quake... 等等自然災害。
其實多倫多不是你想像中節奏那麼慢，一般加國五大銀行開戶口祇需一個小時多，唔駛四個鐘咁多，可能你去某間香港銀行開戶口，手續和搜查程序會多很多，以致咁慢。多倫多公司唔會俾你take two hours lunch; 還有，多倫多的outdoor life 是很短暫，大約是由五月至十月，其他月份的時間都是stay indoor ，如果enjoy winter sports 可以出去走走都ok 嘅。
澳洲唐人餐每個埠都有，越南餐，泰國餐，韓國餐，应有盡有。試個就知，水準極高。

我住多倫多二十幾年，冇遇上種族歧視。老公喺Cambridge讀書，都唔喜歡英國。Toronto係移民國家，多數會互相尊重。這邊生活會悶，但好開心好peaceful, 雖然不似香港多姿多采，但家庭生活質素一流。

梗係Sydney 最好啦！天氣非常好，就算冬天都有十幾度，夏天唔會濕熱，藍天白雲，空氣清新！星期五兩點之後，全部同事去曬酒吧飲酒啦。又多美食，全部都好正宗：越南粉、泰菜、法國菜、韓國菜、好食過香港添！最重要就係啲人隨和，唔做作，唔使成身名牌，無論你有冇錢，大部分人都係T恤牛仔褲，生活冇壓力，得閒諗吓週末去邊度玩，或者係花園淋下花。你見啲英國人咁遠都想移過嚟就知道係好嘢👏就業同做生意一定首選悉尼👍🏻

其實Sydney都好多華人區，好多中餐館吖， Burwood 已比 Chinatown多😅

其實多倫多比起20年前已經唔係極凍喇，室內有暖氣，任何牌子嘅靚羽絨都有得賣！羽絨內只需要穿短袖衫已經可以！除咗天氣稍凍，冬天抵得悶，其實多倫多係福地！只要你肯做同勤力，一定有工做。
加拿大最大問題係冬天好凍, 如果唔怕凍係ok嘅， 仲有大部份地方要揸車 除非住喺vancouver 搭 sky train, 如果冇車牌, 又唔鍾意揸車.....唔知點算.
我有BC，另一半有歐盟護照，所以我地去咗唔受脫歐影響嘅愛爾蘭。
三個地方都很好，個人認為多倫多優點最多，祝順利！

澳洲我就没去過，美國三藩市， 加洲bay area, 紐約東岸，多倫多和英國我分別都住過半年至一年。
1.🇺🇸加洲Bay area發展空間大，但吾識揸車，系好煩，Uber ，地鐵，巴士轉幾十程，處理少少嘢攪大半日，只適合叻人有錢人住。
2.🇺🇸三藩市係最適合香港人嘅，食嘢搭車都好方便，天氣宜人，但已經飽和，無金執。
3.🇺🇸美東紐約交通方便，但感覺好急好亂，冬天落雪凍死，街好污糟，其他洲吾識揸車，只能夠說是寸步難行。
(美國基因改造食物好嚴重，唉當然有 farm market 和有機食物，但好難避，好多小朋友有濕診問題，加洲開車要小心，車牌好易考，所以開車水皮的人好多)
4.🇨🇦多倫多秋天夏天都好舒服，食物Ok，除咗市中心有公共交通，吾識或吾想楂車，根本同破既一樣，還要外面茫茫大雪，如果只能靠人車你，困住遲早情緒病。
5. 🇬🇧英國交通算是最方便但貴(方便當然同香港無得比)，基乎火車可以送你到任何城市和歐洲國家，落雨和涷其實比我想像OK，陽光比我想像多，有時仲會覺得好舒服，香港太熱!
外面食物9成都比美加難食，是事實，英國買衣服糧食日用品便宜，特別英國人好學又喜歡讀書，有好多免費和便宜的課程，五三八門都有，英國現在7，8月好多人花粉和敏感發作，無辦法英國人喜歡花花草草果樹周圍都係，還有怕狗的人要三思，英國平均一個家庭一隻狗，英國人歡迎狗移民多過人移民，而這些狗狗都非常熱倩😅🐕🐶

其實依家唔係好多資金嘅全部都冇幾多選擇，基本上英國真係開門就好值得去試下……
我話去「試下」因為真係可以返轉頭。萬一真係非常唔鍾意嗰邊嘅新生活而香港又幸運地不至於太恐怖，其實隨時可以搬返去……
我就冇乜諗後路，絕對係覺得去得到英國或者美加都唔會返香港定居。

I was looking up UK property and had decided to study a master programme there when i got the news that my QIIP application had been approved. I'm still undecided but your videos helped me a lot. adding onto your analysis, canada is in general much more welcoming on immigrants, when comparing to the other two countries. Toronto has bad coffee, unfortunately. food is more diversified and closer to the US style. you can definitely find good food (and bad food). regarding to work culture, it also depends on the company i guess. we find my colleagues in the UK very hea compared to us in Canada. last thing about landscape: Toronto is very flat and has no sea. we have lots of lake though. it is fun driving a boat in those water canals.

請問有冇考慮過學費？英國係咪收得好平用本地人嘅價錢？
首先每個地方都有好有唔好(冇一個地方絕對好過另一個地方)，同埋澳州加拿大係超大！你唔好覺得澳州係一個國家，係比較似一個“歐洲”，你去唔同城市真係差好遠… 加拿大一樣，就算你去咗多倫多先算，你唔鐘意可以搬去另一個省/城市。最後可能未必settle喺大城市。
Apart from a couple of Chinatowns in Sydney (e.g. Chinatown in CBD, Chatswood, Ashfield ...), Chinese restaurants or takeaways can be found in almost every suburb over there. To make a judgment on economic performance and prosperity, one has to check the basic economic factors such as GDP per capita, GDP growth rate, and unemployment rate. Not sure if Canada is the best in terms of economic outlook amid the 3 countries.
How much one young lad can expect to earn after tax and how much he/she may save for the family? Among these cities, which one is within 30-minute drive from the city centre to beaches for water sports, to hills for hiking, to theme parks for family gathering, etc. ? 😀😀
How about Ireland? New Zealand? USA? Norway?

Sydney’s weather is the best. You can travel and do sports all year round. Many Chinese restaurants in many suburbs in Sydney, not just in china town. You should travel more in Sydney before making your decision.

宇佐美れいな 「歧視」兩字一般都理解為對種族方面，以前有南非，今日有美國。最近發生的「BLM」事件你不會理解為「人格」的問題吧？原來你在GC，那邊人不多，沒感受被歧視也不稀奇。我有親戚住在西澳Perth廿年了，也說比 NSW & VIC 好，但承認澳洲人骨子里不喜歡有色人種，尤其是近年大量的中國移民（記住他們並不能分辨中國、香港和台灣人）。我承認中國近年暴發但國民質素未有相對提高，所以出外旅遊才會醜出國際令人生厭，要做到像日本人那麼守法和禮貌，再過廿年都不行！但香港人歧視大陸人不單止是因為其行為，也有仇富心理。但今日香港不斷內耗退步中，再過多幾年，香港連大陸一個二綫城市都比不上。

Canada 出左名friendly , 圈子就睇你自己，住Vancouver 唔代表要群埋chinese , 咁多民族，又唔會歧視(利申在uk, aus , nz 都遇過)
住過英澳紐。 認真覺得澳紐比英國適合一般人移民。 除左天氣， 最重要係英國唔係移民國家，就好似日本，德國呢d 國家咁， 你去唔係adventure/享受, 係去學融入本地做英國人。(吃力不討好）
係澳紐，做返自己，識講英文就得， 生活好自在。

Welcome to Canada! I was studying in Toronto and now I am in Vancouver. You said you like outdoor activities, playing with dogs. Vancouver (metro Vancouver, not just city of Vancouver) is better than Toronto such as warmer weather, less crazy snowing, got mountains and sea to have better lsndscape rather than flat/plain areas in Toronto. More closest to. Asia especially to HK. Both Vancouver and Toronto housing prices are high but you can choose the cities or areas not so close to downtown and it's ok as more and more people are now work from home. Anyway, your call!
