Outstanding video, bro. My WRX is sporting the duckbill spoiler thanks to you. I love it. It's holding up really nice. Greatly appreciate your DIY videos. I'm looking at all this airflow / engine cooling stuff you got now, plus the fender mod for for heat dispersion. Keep them going, man...
@@ronfromportland I just purchased the air blades 👍. Now to start cutting on the subie lol. Got an AP coming as well from MAP. Really excited about these purchases.
@@ronfromportland Thanks, bro. You were 100% correct, sir. COBB stage 1 is all i have right now. Such a huge difference over stock for me. I drive a lot, so i noticed right away. MAP doesn't have a '21 stage 1 yet. They didn't recommend the '20 stage 1 due to a possible ECM change.
Thank you as always man! It’s a nice addition for sure. I don’t know if it was just my imagination but I went on a recent road trip and averaged 31 mpg. This is good considering all of the weight I had in the car. Could be the increased air going to the intake 🤷♂️
You should get some flat pieces of aluminum and fab something to drop the horns down an inch or so to clear. Then just paint the pieces black to match the Perrin mount.
Thank you and no problem at all! No tune is necessary for something like this. It’s recommended to get a tune for an intake though, if you ever decide to upgrade.
I got the mishimoto cat back and the mishimoto intake with airbox exhaust is on air box is not because I don't want tune the car what are your thoughts

Thanks so much, man! Seeing this comment just made my day. This is the kind of stuff that keeps me going. I really appreciate it, man.
@@ronfromportland You deserve it bro. Take care, out there.

@@Oldmannobody that’s awesome man! Very exciting upgrades, it’ll make you enjoy the car 1000x more.

There's a lot more to it than I expected. It looks like the shroud really helps with air flow. Congrats on 1k too

@@ronfromportland maybe. Or just cooler intake temperature so the WRX isn't working as hard.
@@WRXSNOWBOARDER that too!
That radiator shroud is awesome. Love the color also. Switch up your horn bracket to a grimmspeed. It has alot more adjustability than perrin.
Thank you! I will look into the Grimmspeed bracket!

That’s a great idea. Thank you!
id love to get the radiator shroud too but in australia don't have any suppliers
Ah man, that’s unfortunate!
Would you say this would be worth purchasing still?
I would put my money on performance parts first before getting this one. Just my honest opinion!
How are you liking your cstune man?
Hey dude! I’m actually not tuned by Chris. Assuming that’s what you’re referring to? I’m tuned by Surgeline Tuning here in Portland.
Nice vid, with the increase or direct airflow do they recommend a tune? Please forgive me I am a new wrx owner.

Although it can’t hurt to get a tune to maximize the potential benefits of the shroud *
@@goosunsafetyfirearmtrainin9561 good call. I would leave it off until you get a tune.
Looking good sir! Does your front grill have the area where the air ramp is on shroud blocked cause mine is pretty much covered up?
Thank you man! Yup, mine is blocked off too. I might switch up the grille so that air can flow through better. Thinking about switching up yours?
@@ronfromportland yup! Already have grill, just need to install it!
@@ronfromportland I also like the chapter sections on the video!
@@MoJoNinjaGarage looking forward to this install man!!!
