    1:26-1:41, It's impossible not to encounter this situation, and sometimes bumper-to-bumper when we are on the road it's quite inevitable 🙂 A lot of traffic.
    I'm watching the ads again. This time is about "Smart communications" and Japan's imports and so on.🙂❤️

    I love your clear explanations. At least here in the UK it is also common to talk about the problem of slow traffic being due to CONGESTION, eg "there was a lot of congestion on the road" or "the road was heavily congested", and in London people who enter the city centre need to pay a "congestion charge"

    • @TeacherMikeEnglish
      @TeacherMikeEnglish  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! And we use "congestion" that way here also.

    Does "Traffic tangle" mean traffic jam?
    Thanks a lot, Mike. Lovely lesson.

    There is not much traffic on weekends.
    The traffic is bad or heavy.
    There is little traffic or there is light traffic.
    There is not traffic on holidays.
    This city has a lot of traffic jams.
    I am stuck in a traffic jam, so I'm going to get there very late.
    The traffic is gridlocked means no one can move in any dirección.
    The traffic is bumper to bumper means the vehicles are so close to one another that they are almost touching and are moving very slowly.
    The traffic is light now, but it's going to get worse soon.
    Thanks a lot, Mike.

    Teacher mike is my favorite teacher , teacher I have a question. I received a new credit card. I was carefully reading the document that comes with the card and was paying attention throughout the whole document and I realized that “going to “ Is nowhere to be seen , only will but not going to. Do you know why?

    • @TeacherMikeEnglish
      @TeacherMikeEnglish  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good wuestion. WILL is generally used for facts in formal writing.

      @@TeacherMikeEnglish3 years ago I was reading immigration documents ( I am latin American living in Canada) and came to the realization that I only saw “will”. Not sure if you wanted to talk at least briefly one day on your videos about this. I am also not sure if this detail is just so unimportant. I might be getting so much into this topic ( maybe some of us do lol)

    • @TeacherMikeEnglish
      @TeacherMikeEnglish  ปีที่แล้ว

      No.
      Traffic = vehicles on the road
      Traffic jam = many vehicles in one area moving slowly or not moving

    One of his biggest pet peeves is people driving too slowly on the highway.🫢
