I cannot describe the emotion I feel as I finished this project. It really hit me when I was putting the valve body on. I have taken way too long, over a year with my truck taken apart in the garage, of which I may have worked a total of 7 to 10 days, but it’s finally complete. Words fail me, I cannot describe how I feel. Thank you so much for this excellent series of videos.
James, I was in the Air Force for 22 years, an Instructor for 20 of them, I have made many lesson plans and gave many lesson, but I have seen a lesson as great as yours, best I have ever seen. I cannot wait to get started on my trans, thank you.
I Hope this guy is still with us. There have been No Posts in the past two years on this Ch. Anyway, thanks for these videos. I've re-build several transmissions and saved a ton of money and time, with these videos for reference! Like he said, get a new torque converter. I always do. My last 4l60e re-build now shifts amazing thanks to you!
From Tasmania Australia, NO SIR ! the pleasure was all mine watching in awe an amazing master at work expertly explaining this detailed process in the most easily understandable and patient way. You should have been a brain surgeon no questions about it. You have done something here no one else can hope to emulate (even though there have been some feeble attempts by others). This is just one of your legacies while being on this rock, you are to be congratulated and comended. Thank you so much for demystifying and enlightening us all regarding the 4L60E. WOW WHAT A TUTORIAL!!
I look up videos when I need a reference to fix things, BUT these videos, hands down , were the best instructional vids I have ever come across. Part of it was the detail of each part, the “taking your time” explaining each step but mostly , the instructor is what makes a video great. And you are at the top of your class. Outstanding job! Thank You!
I rebuilt my 4L60E transmission completely using these videos, I made one mistake, lucky it was in the pump. How I did it, I don't know, the transmission wasn't in yet, I found it when i put Torque Converter on to test fit ! But I fixed it. Put transmission in Friday 10.20.23, it runs, Shifts good and Pressure is on mark to specs. For the upgraded parts I used it would have cost me over 3 - 4 Thousand dollars buying it from any rebuilt supplier ! Then as we know, I could have got a 250 pound pile of junk ! This Instructor is the Best I've seen. Using All his videos on this Chevy transmission, I did it, the 1st transmission I built also. Built many Chevy Engines in past, 305, 350, 327 for my Dad's Boat and a 396 for 1969 Chevelle. Never a Transmission! Till now. Thanks for your time doing all these Videos, Free. Your A Great Instructor and you're not Greedy !
Jimmy>>>Thank you so much for the very informative and well made rebuild videos. My two daughters (18 an 16) just finished rebuilding the 4L60E transmission in our '97 Chevy Silverado. The current tranny blew 3-4 at 260,000 miles. Since the truck is so old and has so many miles, we decided to do the rebuild ourselves. Your no-nonsense, slow, deliberate and well thought out videos helped us through a very tough rebuild. Not only did we replace all the frictions and steels, but had to replace the front input housing, front reaction shaft, reverse input drum and pump stator shaft along with a new torque converter. It took us quite a while to do the rebuild since we worked only on one component at a time and wound up having to order parts all the way through the process. We were very meticulous on following you step by step and had no real difficulties. Transmission is back in and we have road tested it with no adverse problems. We are hopeful that we will not have any issues creep up in the next few hundred miles. Thanks again, you saved my daughters truck from the salvage yard or sale. who says girls can't wrench? I know mine can!
This series has helped me tremendously with my 4L60-E. The clear and concise instructions were a blessing. On my 2011 4L60-E the VSS is installed on the pump, you forgot to note that in this series. I forgot to install it and had to take everything back out in order to install on it. I have NEVER subscribed to ANY channel, but for all the help your series has done for me I am going to subscribe. Transmission Bench thank you.
Transmission #2 (97 RS Camaro) COMPLETE! I took my time again on my days off to complete this transmission. The shop that rebuilt this thing did a mediocre job. I was talking to a co-worker last night and he told me how much he spent on a transmission. I just smiled and said I just completed my second one! Thanks again!
Mr. Williams. Thank you so much for your time and dedication you put in your 4l60e rebuild video. I bought 3 different books and there good to have but do not come close to the way dismantle and assemble the transmission. THANK YOU! James Blattner from Killeen TX
You are not just a mechanic, but well organized professional professor. Words fail me to comment; however, I have to say it out all that I feel, that is to say, our planet is lucky to have you on its surface. Blessings after blessings ✌️. A mechanic in my country messed up my transmission, but I am going to cleanup his mess by your lessons. You inspired me. What a man you are?!
Ty for such a good class. I am a female of 74 years n I transformed my ole greenie baby(f150) when the reverse went out I was literally stranded on my farm. No money for a new truck and nobody to escort my to the many places this youngster needed to go. I watched ur video until lesson 10 which had no voice. I guess I figured out what u were doing from my experience with my mechanic father. Again I thank you for such an informative video with such clear and consise words. None of the regular mumbo jumbo trying to make money from me. Keep up the good work. If u do a video on the john deer k46 be sure to let me know as this is my next project.
35:52 Just want to say thanks for everything you shared, not a lot of knowledgeable people are willing to do this. I’ve spent 7,000 on transmissions over the last few years because I was overwhelmed thinking about trying to tackle it myself. I’ve built many engines and have been a mechanic for many years and you gave me the push I needed to do it. Thank you again
thanks for the time you spent on this great video series, just completed my first rebuild with my 17 year old son on his 05 tahoe with 245,000 miles , transmission shifts better than new thanks to your special attention to every detail, could not be happier with the results and my son is thrilled at the money he saved on his first vehicle.
It work it work. I'd repair my 4L60E follow your lesson and it work. No check engine light, full power, soft gear shift, to much power. I'd pay just 300 dollars for the installation of my rebuilt gear box in my Chevrolet Blazer 1995 4x4 truck and... IT WORK!!!. Thanks for de lesson. I did all the work in a small workbench in my apartment. Thanks for all. Best regards.
Thank you so much for doing these videos, I followed them step by step and successfully rebuilt my 4L60Ein a 2006 GMC Sierra. The input sprag bearing exploded in my truck causing my transmission to only have reverse and first gears. If I ever have to do this again, I will be buying my kits from you, the kit I got wasn't individually packaged and I had to sort and search for what I needed. Please do put the videos on dvd. I'll buy both the 4L60E and the Ford series even though I don't have a Ford. You never know whats going to end up in your driveway. Thanks again, your videos gave me the confidence to do it myself. Thanks Jody
Probably the single best video series on TH-cam for any vehicle related repair. Outstanding quality. I would definitely undertake this job now and definitely have the confidence to do it well. What was once taboo is now very much understood. Thanks so much Jimmy. Kudos!
You are a GREAT INSTRUCTOR ! I know how difficult it is to make Teaching Videos, my Father was sent to Germany to learn from the Manufacturer or Printing Press, he spent 3 weeks learning from them, the made Instructional videos for the crew at CURRENT Greeting card and paper co. In Colorado Springs, Colorado. It wasn't easy. Thanks again for your time & Help for all people working on there transmission !
I watch videos of all kinds on TH-cam, I cut the cord early and never looked back. With that said, I have probably spent years literally watching content...I mostly go for documentaries and learning content, with some absolute filler (that's a reasonable thing to call it, lol). This video series was the most complete hand-holding on a learning series that I have ever seen, and doubtful that I will see again. I just wanted to say thank you to the instructor, and company that paid for this content to be made. I know some of the funds (hopefully all, and much more) will be recouped through the sales of transmission rebuild kits, but this series (part 1 and part 2) are so complete that ANY PERSON willing and able should be able to finish this rebuild. I am installing my rebuild now, fingers crossed all will work out well. I know if it does not, that it is truly in my hands. Thank you Transmission Bench
You rock, Jimmy. I've rebuilt many engines in 30 years. And, like all engine mechanic types, I was always terrified of transmissions (Removing the pan and seeing that valve body usually scares people right off the bat). My first tranny rebuild was a great success right out of the gate. I watched all your lessons several times, and even during the rebuild on my iphone. I installed a higher performance kit with a 3-4 powerpack and I actually have to look at my tach to see the shifts because they're so smooth. Thanks for saving me $1,000+.
Rebuilt a 4l60e with parts from transmission bench, and my 96 chevy z71 is shifting amazing. Thank you! Now, it is time to restore everything else on the truck. This might be the best learning experience in my life.
jimmy i just wanted to say thank you very much for saving me roughly $2200.00.i own a 96 shortbed silverado (aka my baby) and a 97 gmc suburban. the transmission went out in the suburban first so i temporarily parked it.i was returning home from work about two weeks ago and the 3-4 clutch pack went bad in my silverado.well i went and got the rebuild kit from our local transtar dealer and setup my laptop in my shop and started the removal.i started your videos one by one til i got to the last one.your step by step all the way to the last step tutorial has prompted me to open a small transmission repair shop in my garage.you helped me save a couple thousand dollars and im going to help others with low cost rebuilds myself.thank you so much for the videos.
Amazing...thank you so much.i rebuilt my 4l60e from my blazer following your videos.you taught me a lot and saved my alot of money So again...THANK YOU!!!
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you guys for putting these up here where everyone can use them. You could have just sent them with rebuild kits, but you didn't. I ordered a rebuild kit elsewhere after seeing someone else's video on how to rebuild a 4l60e, then I stumbled onto your videos, which I used. Transmission is back in the car and working great. I swap cars fairly often, and knowing I can rebuild it myself makes me more likely to take a car with a bad 3-4 clutch pack. If (when) I do, I will be SURE to order the rebuild kit from Transmission Bench.
Jimmy you are the man! You took one of the most complex components in the automobile and made is simple as humanly possible, right down to the 16 oz. claw hammer and craftsman screw driver. I am a master ASE certified heavy truck technician - Thank you for reminding me how simple success can be! Like my old boss used to say "K.I.S.S.". Thanks again!
I just rebuilt my 2007 Chevrolet 4L60E following Jimmy's tutorials and it works again! Fantastic video series and presentation. Never thought I'd attempt this procedure but he made it easy as well as ordering the parts I needed. Highly recommended, thanks Jimmy!
Mr. Jimmy himself answered my questions on the phone. I never would have ever thought I would be able to ever rebuild my transmission. But thank you MR. Jimmy . My Camaro is back on the road and it feels awesome to have been able to do it by your videos.
Awesome, you are like my father, an engineer from the old school, organized, clean and methodist. But even, a great teacher. I'm ready to start the rebuild my 4l60e from my blazer 1996. My father theres not with me now, but with your videos it's will like how to be with my father part in my project. Thanks for that. I'm from Chile and i not write de english so good. I expect that you read my words good. Best regards.
Probably the most informative video I've ever watched on TH-cam. Thanks James. That was an incredibly good job of making a complex procedure. Sounds simple
Thanks James!!! I rebuilt my 97 burb. There's nothing you can't do, but I wouldn't be able to do this withouth this specific series. You're the man. James!
You just walked me through the complete overhaul of my transmission. You are the best!!!!!! You explained everything so clearly. You made me find out that the monster sun shell I purchased did infact need that flat bearing, as well as a different hub assembly to match the bearing. I tore the trans apart and saved myself the grief of this transmission granading if I ever installed it the way I built it! Thank you so much!!
Very thankful for your step-by-step tutorial!!! Very informative and easy to follow. My wife and I tackled this project on my 03 Silverado that started having tranny issue and 260k. Slow and steady we got her back together and are prepping for mount and test!!! Keep up it up sir!!!!!
i cant thank you enough . this was such a learning tool. the only problem i had was that reverse drum seal . i bout never figured that out ,to be honest i put them in upside down the fist time a messed up the center seal but couldnt find the extra so i used th old one and kinda scuffed the outter one but i continued assembly till i got it all together then found the second chance kit .in my mail box .so i pulled the pump and reverse drum out and changed them ,but i almost messed up the new set b4 i got it to go in ,took like 3 hrs to figure out exactly how hard to push ,seems thers a fine line betwwen to hard and not hard enough. i think i got it now . i hope so cause my 84 vette just ate its 700r4.so here i go again. oh , i found my 3/4 cluch probem was a interesting deal i found that whoever assembled it last forced the reverse piston in and cut half the lip off,idk if that had anything to do with it but ,i also found that part of the 3/4 clutches had been spinning around on the ringear and cut grooves in it ,so deep i was affraid to use it and replaced the ring gear . the 3/4 piston seal was a little warn but not as bad as the one in the video. the previous owner used it to tow a band trailer full of band equipment . idk what exactly caused all this but thanks to you .its fixed and works perfectly . i will recomed yall to everyone .thanks again happy customer
Just wanted to say thank you for making the 4l60e rebuild videos. I did everything step by step and now I have my truck back and the transmission is working better than ever. I saved a lot of money doing this and really just wanted to say thanks
This was a great series on the 4L60E. I had done a turbo 400 a few years ago (before TH-cam), so an automatic transmission doesn't intimidate me. With your instruction and identification of each part I was able complete this project with complete confidence that it went together right. Thanks
I ordered my deluxe master kit and am foaming at the mouth to get my kit. I'm so excited to do this. I am a "shade tree" mechanic but I've always worked on my own cars. Never been to a mechanic. I'm 37 btw... this will be my first automatic. But with your lessons and how thorough you are I believe it's going to be flawless. I also received my lessons on USB and the 2nd chance kit. Was really surprised to see that you signed it !!! Thank you again and I will keep posting about my 93 gmc burban named Barb ! Great job Jimmy, we need more like you sir.
I just rebuilt my 2001 4L60E and could NOT have done it without these amazing videos. I’ll let you know how it shifts in a couple months behind a 4.8L in my 1965 C10. Thank you.
Bravo! An exceptional teaching series on a complicated topic. I've watched the entire series, and I intend to buy your thumb drive. Thanks for such a marvelous tool.
Best videos on the build. These videos gave me the confidence to try this. I do a lot of work on cars but usually don't touch transmissions. This will be a great skill to add to my repertoire. I'm ordering a kit. Thanks.
I just finished rebuilding my 4l60e thank you so much! I got your kit and classroom video USB drive and made it so much easier to rebuild it! 5/5 amazing job
i am also a automatic transmission mechanic for a different types of branded cars, i admired u a lot for having this kind of videos, which is helpful to others, hopefully maybe some of this days i will make a videos for rebuilding and overhauling automatic transmission of mercedes benz and bmw.. salute you....
Thank you for these video instructions. You make it so easy to do. I've watched them all and will be pulling my transmission in a 1994 GMC Sierra soon and rebuild it while using your videos for reference. Thank you again!!!
James thank you for your time, this has been a most informative series. I have watched it from beginning to end, and now feel like I'm ready to tackle my own project a 700R4. I wish you had a video series covering it, but I know since it is a late 700R4 most of it's parts are interchangeable with the early 4L60E. Thank you again sir.
So first off I'd like to say your videos were exactly what I needed to rebuild my 4l60e. I got a monster transmission monster ss kit with shift kit and rebuilt and upgraded the Trans to a 4l65e capable of handling 650 hp. I built a bad ass 6.0 to mate up with her on my 1999 z71. Trans was Rock solid for 3 weeks then on my way home from work it made a huge klunk sound and then drive no longer worked. I had to shift to 3 until that went out then I went to 2 until that went out and then one. I shut it off and waited 5 minutes while I checked the oil with the engine off. Started back up then it drove in any gear but drive for a short while. When I finally got home no gears worked including reverse. I checked the fluid level and it was good and lower then when the engine is off. 5 minutes later I drive it to my shop in 3 and then 2 then 1 shut it off then only needed 1 to get the rest of the way in. I drained the oil and pulled the pan. Everything looks fine except for a silvery mixture of fine ground aluminum in the oil. I think the aluminum clogged the filter but don't know where it all came from. I did everything to spec except for the end shaft play on the tork converter side didn't move up and down to spec. It spun freely so I slapped it in. Had 0 problems until the catastrophic failure. What do you think
Stephen Borsi Hi Stephen. Suspect the torque converter. If on teardown everything looks good, the silver looking particles are coming from a damaged torqe uconverter.
Transmission Bench the torque converter is apparently fine as all the oil coming out of it was clean. It's a high performance converter and a brand new one at that.
This problem is actually quite common. I've seen it many times. The drum flares badly and hits the case. Replace the reverse input drum with a new one. If the fingers on the drive shell look questionable, replace it too. Hope this helps, Jimmy
It is obvious that a great deal of effort went into this. I watched the whole series, and when I have the guts of my clunking and vibrating Envoy's 4L60E in my hands in the next while, I will watch it again, as I fix it. Thanks very much, stellar job.
this video was the best rebuilt Transmissions buy rebuilt mine through all the steps you're the best teacher ever I'm a mechanic fun motor going to the transmission shop ordering parts I know how people that don't know anything about cars feel now transmission talk is way different
Awesome videos. You are the man!!! I watched the entire series...I'm now ready to rebuild my 4L60E. As soon as i order my parts form TransmissionBench. These videos are why I am buying from you. I have total confidence that i can do it, thanks to you. I just wish you had a video on how to get my transmission out of my 05 Isuzu Ascender (trailblazer), then i would be just as confident about that!!!!!
Now this is a how to video. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge it is much appreciated. I am in the process of collecting parts and tools to rebuild a 4r70w in my wife's truck so I will be waiting for those videos for sure. Thanks again.
cant thank you enough for what you are doing for us. Everything I found online in regards to rebuilding this trans told me not to even try to attempt unless I had alot of experience in rebuilds, nonsense!! Thanks to your calm, collective, step by step course my trans is finished and just made its maiden voyage. Not once during this course did i ever feel like I was being talked down to or like an idiot for having to sit here with you..not once,..So if anyone is reading this wondering if this course is worth sitting thru,,the answer is yes!! The question isnt whether or not you should sit here, the question is WHY WOULDNT YOU?..nor more MAACO for me thats for sure..
Thank you for the this wonderful video and your detail instructions on how to. I rebuilt my transmission have not installed it yet I am nervous but i am more confident I did everything you recommended.
Just finished rebuilding my 4L60E. Thanks to Jimmy my '02 Yukon lives again. Took my time, enjoyed the process, learned so much. Purchase your parts from Tranmission Bench and you get the added benefit of being able to email/call Jimmy if you have any questions or need support. You won't regret it.
I have rebuild trans. a long time and I watched you in a complete and I have learned a lot from seeing this. I have a 97 Blazer so now I am going to rebuild it.
Thank you Mr. James Williams Today I have learned a very good lesson on how to fix my transmission. I watched the whole series from start to finish and I'm so appreciative of your hard work that went into the lesion. May you have a Truly Blessed Merry Christmas
Thank you so much for this series!!! Major help and terrific explanation on every part. Now that mine is rebuilt , time to put it in the truck and fingers crossed, it all works.
Mr. Williams , Thank you Sir and thank you to any and all involved in this empowering series. It is a Godsend. I will gladly use the transmissionbench com . Thanks again.
My husband and I have been working on this transmission and it has been a pretty interesting and somewhat fun project. It turns out though, rebuilding a transmission and installing one are two completely different things. We took out the old 4l60e out of our 2002 Tahoe and MAN was it a BEAR! We both decided it is worth every dime paying for this part to be done next time. We’re about to install the new one. Wish us luck and say a prayer 😆. If you’re thinking of installing this on your own, and you don’t have a lift, power tools, and a competent buddy to help you, heed my warning now and DONT DO IT. Pay someone who has the equipment and walk away, smiling. Otherwise, don’t say I didn’t warn you! It is NOT FUN. Also, I want to say, good job to all those who have made it all the way through and finished this project. Congrats!
TH-camr Chris Fix has a very good video on removing and installing a transmission that just about anyone can follow regardless of make or model, standard or automatic transmissions th-cam.com/video/al08aGQTkFk/w-d-xo.html

This is the best tutorial of any type that I have ever seen!!!! Thank you
I watch videos of all kinds on TH-cam, I cut the cord early and never looked back.
Just finished my 2nd 4l65e rebuild using videos here. Wish I could buy this guy a beer. These videos and instruction are flawless. Thank you!
Thank you sir. You must saved me over 4500 to get transmission fixed at a shop. This was hands down the best tutorial to fix my 4l60e.
Amazing...thank you so much.i rebuilt my 4l60e from my blazer following your videos.you taught me a lot and saved my alot of money
So again...THANK YOU!!!
I WILL GET MY PARTS FROM TRANSMISSION BENCH, JUST FOR THE LESSONS, THANKS A LOT.
Outstanding presentation, very thorough and professional!! thank you, Louis S
Pleasure has been mine to by watching all 10 episodes for 4l60e.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks James!!! I rebuilt my 97 burb. There's nothing you can't do, but I wouldn't be able to do this withouth this specific series. You're the man. James!
Best step by step PROFESSIONAL rebuild video anywhere!!! Thank you so much for all that it takes to make these! Keep it up!!!
Absolute best, detailed videos. Thanks so much! Just finished my "like new" 4l60 rebuild thanks to these videos. He's the best!
Great video! Very educational! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
i cant thank you enough . this was such a learning tool. the only problem i had was that reverse drum seal . i bout never figured that out ,to be honest i put them in upside down the fist time a messed up the center seal but couldnt find the extra so i used th old one and kinda scuffed the outter one but i continued assembly till i got it all together then found the second chance kit .in my mail box .so i pulled the pump and reverse drum out and changed them ,but i almost messed up the new set b4 i got it to go in ,took like 3 hrs to figure out exactly how hard to push ,seems thers a fine line betwwen to hard and not hard enough. i think i got it now . i hope so cause my 84 vette just ate its 700r4.so here i go again. oh , i found my 3/4 cluch probem was a interesting deal i found that whoever assembled it last forced the reverse piston in and cut half the lip off,idk if that had anything to do with it but ,i also found that part of the 3/4 clutches had been spinning around on the ringear and cut grooves in it ,so deep i was affraid to use it and replaced the ring gear . the 3/4 piston seal was a little warn but not as bad as the one in the video. the previous owner used it to tow a band trailer full of band equipment . idk what exactly caused all this but thanks to you .its fixed and works perfectly . i will recomed yall to everyone .thanks again happy customer
Just wanted to say thank you for making the 4l60e rebuild videos. I did everything step by step and now I have my truck back and the transmission is working better than ever. I saved a lot of money doing this and really just wanted to say thanks
Jason Medlock I love to hear a success story. Congratulations Jason! Thanks, Jimmy
If it wasn't for your awesome detailed videos, ol red would be in the scrap yard. THANK YOU!
Just like everybody else said the best educational video on the internet Thank you for your time
Best series on Transmissions on TH-cam -- thank you very much!
Great job Jimmy, we need more like you sir.
david, how did your install go?
larry
I just rebuilt my 2001 4L60E and could NOT have done it without these amazing videos. I’ll let you know how it shifts in a couple months behind a 4.8L in my 1965 C10. Thank you.
Bravo! An exceptional teaching series on a complicated topic. I've watched the entire series, and I intend to buy your thumb drive. Thanks for such a marvelous tool.
Thank you sir for taking your time and sharing what took you years of experience to learn.
Got 300 miles on my rebuild, so far so good. Thanks for the help, great resource.
Best videos on the build. These videos gave me the confidence to try this. I do a lot of work on cars but usually don't touch transmissions. This will be a great skill to add to my repertoire. I'm ordering a kit. Thanks.
I just finished my first trans rebuild with your help. I really appreciate your help. Thank you.
I just finished rebuilding my 4l60e thank you so much! I got your kit and classroom video USB drive and made it so much easier to rebuild it! 5/5 amazing job
El mejor maestro de transmisiones automáticas. Gracias por estos videos, la transmisión de mi camioneta quedo como nueva.
Absolutely the best video series on the 4L60E, Thank you for taking the time to make this video!
Thank you for the excellent tutorial on how to rebuild a 4L60E. The BEST one on TH-cam.
Did my first transmission and it works perfectly..thank you so much for these videos...Awesome
i am also a automatic transmission mechanic for a different types of branded cars, i admired u a lot for having this kind of videos, which is helpful to others, hopefully maybe some of this days i will make a videos for rebuilding and overhauling automatic transmission of mercedes benz and bmw..
salute you....
Thank you much Transmission Bench! Couldn't have done it without you. 30 years of turning wrenches didn't prepare me for this beast. Well done.
Thank you for these video instructions. You make it so easy to do. I've watched them all and will be pulling my transmission in a 1994 GMC Sierra soon and rebuild it while using your videos for reference. Thank you again!!!
This has to be one of the best tutorial videos i have ever watched on youtube ever. Thankyou so much Jimmy. Your a true legend..
Thank you for giving me the knowledge and confidence to rebuild my first 4L60E you are the best teacher ever thanks
God bless this channel. Thanks. Best video series ever!
Have to say thank you , been awhile since I've done a rebuild and this series helped a bunch . Clear and easy to follow
I agree with you... it must be something else.Go ahead and tear the transmission down again. You'll find it.
Transmission Bench I did and found the reverse input drums tabs had expanded into the case. I have pictures but don't know how to show them to you
This problem is actually quite common.
Yet another great set of transmission videos. Thank you sir.
Successful rebuild for me with help from these videos. Thanks so much.
Thanks for 1to 10 projects 4L60E videos your best speech with practical

Awesome videos. You are the man!!! I watched the entire series...I'm now ready to rebuild my 4L60E. As soon as i order my parts form TransmissionBench. These videos are why I am buying from you. I have total confidence that i can do it, thanks to you. I just wish you had a video on how to get my transmission out of my 05 Isuzu Ascender (trailblazer), then i would be just as confident about that!!!!!
Thank you for the help very good I watched it 10 times when rebuilding a 4L60e
Now this is a how to video. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge it is much appreciated. I am in the process of collecting parts and tools to rebuild a 4r70w in my wife's truck so I will be waiting for those videos for sure. Thanks again.
a huge tank you ... ive just finished fixing my transmission and it work like a charm ! first time ever
cant thank you enough for what you are doing for us.

Thank you Mr. James Williams
Today I have learned a very good lesson on how to fix my transmission. I watched the whole series from start to finish and I'm so appreciative of your hard work that went into the lesion.
May you have a Truly Blessed Merry Christmas
Retired master ase tech. Here. You couldn't have done a better job. Awesome
Thank you so much for this series!!! Major help and terrific explanation on every part. Now that mine is rebuilt , time to put it in the truck and fingers crossed, it all works.
Jimmy your the Greatest Teacher of all time. Thanks for taking your time and teaching us. Now if I can find a place to do mine.
By far the best teacher I’ve ever had
Mr. Williams , Thank you Sir and thank you to any and all involved in this empowering series. It is a Godsend. I will gladly use the transmissionbench com . Thanks again.
Awesome video series. It's like sitting in a classroom. Great job, keep making these videos for us.
Cant thank you enough for these videos. Better quality, more informative videos simply do not exist.
Absolutely the most incredible video on you tube ! Thank you !
great video, I wished you had discussed the installation of the neutral safety switch. thanks for all wonderful instruction.
That was the best video series I have ever seen. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for your video series I followed through and finished up my transmission thank you so much
