i'm Italian, i've seen "the treasure planet" in italian, and in the italian version this song is sing in an italian version (title: "ci sono anch'io") by italian singer Max Pezzali. I don't know how it's possible, because it's one of my favourite Disney movies, but the movie is not very popular in Italy, people just don't know it and i know very few people that actually watched it, but everybody knows the song without actually knowing that is a song from a Disney movie, and they think it's a Max Pezzali's song. I just discovered the english version and i said:"oh shit, the original one sounds like a Goo Goo Dolls song, let's see who sings it", and here i am.

Art is in the eye of the beholder and all, but it's a personal stretch for people to apply this to the military, not the defacto truth.

I was never much part of it, being an English speaker, and having dreams that would have gone unfulfilled if I were to stay there. Still makes me cry decades later... Abusive childhood with a father I idolized and a mother I often fought with. My father for the sake of his sanity would walk out a lot but always came back but even now decades later even after he's done a 180 and saved his marriage with my mother and became the best father ever to me and my brother the pain of knowing i almost lost him shatters me to tears. He was the only one bringing in income into a household of 4 and my mother never supported him never stood by him and yet even when he raged it was pain I saw in his eyes desperately needing to know he was doing enough and that he was appreciated something he never got from my mother sadly and to this day still doesn't. I love you dad thank you for teaching me to be a kind and compassionate son, father, and husband ❤ He's never forgiven himself for my childhood not how he used to treat my mother and to this day does his best to do better for her and me and my brother

They did the official swedish version of the song in the Disney film in 2002. They unfortunately no longer make music together.
