I really like the farmer holders, but…something to keep in mind with the magnet. You can’t use harps with steel reeds. I’ve snapped a reed in half with an enthusiastic bend.
Hey nice review. Love the Farmer quality. I have the version with just one side wire holding the magnet. Nice big tightening knob. Strong magnet. It's so much more streamlined for practical and performance reasons.
The problem, as you mentioned, is the height. I have both a Hohner and a Lee Oskar. Either would be fine if I could adjust the height so it’s not right in my face when I’m trying to sing.
A rack like the Lee Oskar is 'bendable' - I did it quite extensively mostly to change the 'angle of attack' so the front is not pointing up. Probably could make it lower with the rignt kind of bends! I've recently got a Flexrack however, and am finding it great so far, I like it right 'there', and it solves other problems like glasses slipping forward ;-) it also feels 'healthier' to not bend head down. It seems that I have different problems to you, most racks seem too low.
I just bought one and an East top Lucky Thirteen harp , the harps one of the 5% that’s not magnetic . I’m happy with the holder and harp though , I’ll just get another harp I guess . Thanks .
@@HarmonicaJamz Yes use it for a long time, I play Harmonika and Piano often times Harmonika and Guitar. I plan to built a Switch like Tobias Volkamer it has.
Hi Harmonica Chick! Yes, the are a models that are non-magnetic. For that we have introduced the: www.footdrums.com/product/farmer-nonmagnetic-harp-holder/

Agreed. I think I would like the one side version even more since it's even more "low key" Haven't tried it yet though.
I ordered one. Can’t wait to see how it works. I mainly play a hohner Blues harp.
Enjoy Brandon!
Do you like it? Does it worth the money? Is it very different in respect of harmonica tone you get?
Hello! Its a nice product cant wait to see and use! Can i get it in India 🇮🇳

Yessir, thanks for the comment.
What would it be like standing, singing, playing guitar & harmonica between verses?
It’s great fun.
Nice tone! I eventually figured out where the mic is ;-)
I have to wonder how long the magnet will last?
still like new 5 years later
I have the greatest harmonica holder in the world. Its not on the market yet but is over 60 years old i invented it when i was 13 years old in 1959
Would love to see it.
My holder has no moving parts to replace or needs to be stored in a bag
It sounds good, do you know slk holder from sonnenschein?
Thanks. I just searched for it now but it looks like any other rack. Do you use it?

Nice man! Thanks for the recommendation. Not many of us who play piano and harmonica together. Cheers.
What software did you use to edit your audio?
It seems Seydel Gecko harmonica holder
I have the world's best Harmonica holder I invented it in 1959 when i was 13 years old
So, Douglas - what is it, and do you still make/sell it?
The harmonica will slip out of position if it's being held by a magnet, especially the small magnet on this holder.
Actually it never moved a single bit for me, the magnet is very strong
Thanks for the review!!
Nice informative video! I use hohner rack holder and I feel perfect!
Cheers man, what works for you is perfect!
i love guitar
Great review! I want one!
Glad you enjoyed Craig!
The Suzuki wont adhere to the magnet is because...wait for it....its probable stainless steel coated. I'm not 100% sure..but just a guess.

Thanks for this review buddy, I'm a busker with an autoharp and want to make my performance more interesting.
My pleasure friend!
Thanks buddy ! Great review. :-)
Glad you enjoyed (:
That’s a beautiful 12-string
thank you ("
אחלה הסבר אחי, תודה.
בשמחה
great thank you!
I don't like magnet. You can easily knock the harmonica off.
Matter of opinion... get one that suits you best... nothing wrong with hohner flex but just not right for your body frame...
nice nice renice.
it looks hard to found it...
@@spectorfriend Yes it only sells on their website last time I checked.
Wagon wheel 😁
hell yea(:
Terrible , Overpriced as the neck height is not adjustable.
