I have watched hundreds of guitar "instructors" and dozens of harmonica instructors over the years, but I swear your talent and your ability to clearly explain is unequaled. The way you teach simple concepts and incrementally build them into amazing music is almost magic. It is clear that you love both playing and teaching. What incredible talent! THANK YOU!!!!
Only just started learning at 65, when you said about relating timing to walking I found I was listening to all other sounds around me and relating those to the sound of harmonica, a lot actually work, I found your video's much easier to understand that others that just say do this but not how.
Good Lord man, you can teach. Thank you for this. By the way for anyone interested. Juzzie' s harmonica course is first rate and worth its weight in gold.
Not sure if I'm learning fast enough, but I know I haven't felt this relaxed in ages. Funny that someone commented that Juzzie is the Bob Ross of harmonica, now I get it.
Hi Juzzie, I'm an old dude that is attempting to learn how to play the harmonica and have been seriously having fun with it over the past four months or so. A lot of the online lessons have been a bit involved -- not that it is a bad thing, overall. I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for sharing your relaxed methods and flowing jams that give me a chance to unwind and play along ... adding some of my own "feel" to the mix is the most important important aspect of why I'm here. Cheers! John in So. Cal. USA
Having trouble with breathing and hyperventilating and being in love with the sounds of a harmonica my whole life, seeing your genuine enthusiasm and calmness made me order a Seydel!! Cant wait to be rocking alongside with the boys, this vid reminded me that music is all about fun and relaxation, not pressure. Thank you man, really.
There are no words to express how much I appreciate you and your laid-back calm and positive style of teaching because I’m 44 have playing guitar My whole life self taught i have always been infatuated with harmonica, but never really understood it until recently when I started watching some of your videos and I’m amazed at the progression of learning that I’ve been able to have with your videos. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
I saw one of your videos in Shorts. It led me here. Thank you so much for all of these. I don’t know much yet, but the fact that I stumbled on your channel first and I feel like it’s the best place I could have found to start playing harmonica. Thank you!

I learned more from seeing 3 of your videos than I have in all my previous tries, and I have been trying for 20 years 😅 And I'm actually having fun while practicing with you. Thank you! 🥰
Very good! Here I am again, twngo a cheap harmonica that I bought a few months ago, never played any kind of instrument so I compensated by trying to imitate some blues greats, of course I did not achieve much. Then I tried some videos where they teach to play harmonica but they were very theoretical. A few days ago I discovered you giving these master classes and I have to say wue was like a gift from heaven, you really are very good at teaching. Thank you

I have 2 more questions, I am now a subscriber of yours but do not know how much and where I have to pay you. And how do I tune my harps after cleaning?
Many attempting to teach harmonica on TH-cam, but your approach is unique. Just purchased your 67 lesson course for $18 US. So far only noodling on harp. Will be fun!
Another excellent video. I'm finally at a point where jamming along goes easy. Easy to pick up by ear and just simple. Love it,thanks for sharing your skills Juzzy 🏕️🤠
Ow juzzy mate you always pop up with amazing moments ..and I was just thinking of my brother going threw so much we lost our Dad then mum ..well a tv film he loves is ..Trinity brothers ..and as I was scrolling down TH-cam bam your clip popped up ..with you playing that grove ...well thanks for a great start to a day
Hi Juzzie. Exercise 2 sounds like a great western tune from a italian western movie. It would nice to have your guitar play as backing track 🤠 Best regards from Germany
I LOVE your content Juzzie! I've watched so many other teachers(who are also great) but I got ahead of myself. So refreshing to go back and learn fundamentals in such an enjoyable way. You are fun man! Thanks from Perth
Hi Juzzie! Now my Harmonica (Mouthplay 😉) finally arrive! Just test it, sounds so really good! Sweet tones! Thanks for you do what you do! Im gona buy your course tonight when my payment come ❤
You're amazing Juzzie, I love your music and your lessons and your calming presence, I'm 24 and recently had a heart attack from my drug problems, lost my $100k a year job, since then I've developed horrible anxiety and panic attacks for the first time in my life, got a harmonica and your lessons help calm me down, I was curious if you'd know how I could play that song John wayne by whiskey myers on harmonica, also I've been trying to follow along to some of your riffs, amazing absolutely amazing love your music
Hey mate. Glad your here and awesome the harmonica is helping your anxiety. Music also helps me stay calm. I’ll have a listen to that song and see how I go. Keep having fun learning 🎶
Awesome man, loved it. I know I say it all the time but it’s true. I know sound bit creepy but it really cheers me up listening to you play and teach. You & family stay safe.
Are you from Australia? I’m from Sweden living as a retired in Thailand. I like your way to teach and you have a very good attitude. I can’t play harmonica, but guitar is my favourite. The rhythm you have fits me perfect. I like this bluesy sound.
19:59 was a missed opportunity to break the 4th wall and talk to the viewer directly like in kids tv shows like "wow! You did so good! Struggled a little there in the middle but you're getting there, well done!" Like Dora the Explorer or something. Oh no, swiper is trying to steal all La Harmonicas!
Juzzie mate, I dont know if I enjoy learning new stuff as much as watching you after so many years clearly still enjoy basic stuff, your smile says it all my man, keep it up!!! Btw is there any alternative way to pay the 15 bucks without paypal for your listening course? You always bring a smile to my face, Cheers Juzzie
It would be nice to be able to see you from a frontal shot that way we could kind of see where your left hand is on the fret board and maybe able to guess what strings/chords and what fret you are playing at.
Hi Juzzie, thanks for the great video. Could you give some details on the other instruments used in this video? What kind of guitar do you use and how do you make the beat with your foot? Thanks!
I'm not sure what you did in this video, I think it was the breathing and me just playing along. Something just ticked! Then I tried to juggle a follow with the harmonica to your older videos, didn't go so well 😂 Excellent stuff!
Hi Juzzie, this is fabulous (as always). I've got a handle on the harmonica part, but would really like to be able to add in some simple guitar at the same time. I am even more of a novice in guitar, I recognise and can play parts of the G and C chords in the first example, but when you start going up the neck of the guitar I'm getting a bit lost and can't quite work out which notes you are playing at the start of the bar. I know I will be able to work it out eventually, but its going to take time. Next time you do one of these, could you include some tab for the guitar bits or just mention what notes you are playing? And maybe something on chuka chucks some time in the future? Joel's tutorials are great, but I would love to see something delivered in your style.
Thanks for this video. This is very helpful. I am just getting started and this is a very good introduction. I am curious about the rhythm sound. Where is that coming from?
@@JuzzieSmithTH-cam thanks. I assumed that the SPD was being used but didn’t. Know you could trigger loops. It makes a big difference in the overall presentation. Thanks.
