      @@zeafreethinker The reporter insinuated that Tom Hardy’s sexuality was ambiguous and then turned it into a generalised question about actors. When really, the reporter was wanting to get a response so he could spill that tea. Not everyone wants to discuss their personal life and assuming they do can warrant provocation such as Tom’s reaction.

      And you're clearly an idiot if you think you can judge my whole being when you don't even know me or have never seen me. Lmao you just saw one little comment that desired a more corrected comment such as "He's manly." The point is that it should not and does not matter. His sexuality has NOTHING to do with his job as an actor. It just doesn't. • @cnsmooth

      If it doesn't matter why did he ever mention it? Why do we know he used to take hard drugs? You say it doesn't matter but people obviously care and he has spilled details of his personal life to aid his career.

    Tom Hardy is a complete and true professional both on and off the screen. The reporters question was so out of context here and there was no question being asked. Tom will not tolerate crap and this is his signature. He was absolutely incredible in Legend which I saw this week at the cinema. Tom portrayed both Reggie and Ronnie Kray and at times I felt I was watching two different actors, Tom absolutely nailed it in my view. His intensity both on and off screen is his signature of being a true and complete professional who will not tolerate no crap. Tom's sexuality? How ridiculous to ask him that when he has been with the stunningly beautiful Charlotte Riley (Actress) for so long and adores her and is completely with her. Your god given professionalism Tom is your armour in this world.

      Nope it wasnt oout of context. Tom has spoken about his experiementing with men in the past and he was playing the Krays, one of which was an open homosexual. Its not surprising that A) a gay magazine would be their and B) they might ask such a question. Also his initial question wasn't a direct question about Tom's sexuality, Tom just assumed that was being asked, when really the dude was asking "As someone who has spoken about his alternative sexuality in the past, do you think it is hard for celebrities to do so"

    • @ConfusedGeriatric
      @ConfusedGeriatric 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The comment by R above me is a feeble failure of an attempt at justifying a monumentally stupid question. Asking about celebrities talking about their IRL sexuality has nothing to do with Hardy playing a homosexual character, and the reporter did not ask this in specific relation to the movie character.
      Typical SJW move of “this is somewhat vaguely (actually not really) relevant to MY agenda, so of course it’s worth talking about!” While everyone else is thinking, “What in the everloving fuck was that question?”
      If only they knew how dumb they look to everyone else who doesn’t live in their bubble.

    This is one of the reasons why LGBT journalism is clowned on. What good does it do anyone to know if someone is gay, straight, bi, etc. people like the interview in this video ask loaded questions which can be used to push their agenda or to weaponise the answer against the target.
    They could do so much more with their time and energy, but here they are, asking pointless questions.

    • @Not-Ap
      @Not-Ap 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because representation matters. You can't be or emulate if you can't see. It's not a pointless question. Young LGBT people need role models and at the time of this interview there weren't that many around at all.

      @@ana.1485 Well it matters to LGBT+ audience's if a actor portrays a character that's at least somewhat like them. We did not have "plenty of them" in 2015. As of now your right it's everywhere but it wasn't back then so much. He portrayed a character who's sexuality was less than straight. I don't think asking a actor who does this what his or her thoughts on the sexuality of there character portrayed by them by a LGBT+ reporter representing a well-known LGBT+ magazine is abnormal. He could have made something up or gave a neutral response the question as opposed to getting snappy.

    • @Not-Ap
      @Not-Ap 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ana.1485 I mean questions about sexuality are invasive yes but he's a celebrity who's job is live the lime light. This isn't atypical behavior. Rumour and speculation have always been apart being Hollywood celebrity since it's inception. That's why you mags People Magazine or National Enquire. People who follow Hollywood Celebrities love to follow there personal lives because it's part of there appeal not just roles they play in movies.
      Also you have to consider Hollywood has a long history discrimination against gay people and portrayals of them anything other then a stereotype. Also many Stars in the past were forced into sham marriages to create a wider appeal for there personal brand. If gay men detect that this might be happening they instantly hone in on it. Not to out the actor but because of lack positive role models in the gay world. Entering into these relationships is seen as the cowards way out. If actors explores there sexuality or has full blown affairs on the same sex and word of tis reaches the gay rumour mills intense ridicule will follow. Quite simply you can't be what you can't see at least in minds of the young.
      I'm not saying it's right... but gay and bisexual men have along history of stabbing each other in the back just to appear normal in front hetrosexuals publicly. This in turn creates alot of anger and resentment by those come out or are forced out young because the sacrifice means nothing if you stand alone. Maybe it doesn't justify prying into celebrities personal lives but it's frustrating that this might be still happening.

    Why are people so obsessed with other peoples sexuality? The LGBT community wouldn't have to be this whole community fighting for rights if people didn't care so damn much. It's a personal thing to many people and sure, you can talk about it and it is often encouraged to, but at the right time, in the right situation. As a gay person my sexuality is always brought up by straight people at such weird moments, gay media need to stop doing it to people as well. Don't fight for rights and then try and force people to say they're gay because you want them to be. That's not about rights, or being open about sexuality, that's about trying to get hard on.
