SO much to unpack, lol, but this was a fun watch with the three of you.
First off, I do like this flick and I never knew it was so low rated, but thinking about Speed 2, this movie is such a letdown after what came before, the gift that was The Whole Nine Yards. It was so refreshing when it came out and I hope you watch it.

The sixth sense was in 1999, this film was in the 2004, the whole nine yards was in 2000, the premise of the OG is Matthew Perry is Oz who is a dentist & in a loveless marriage to Rosanna Arquette, he lives next door to Jimmy Tulip (Notorious Hitman who is trying to hide out from some bad guys) Natasha Richardson (Species Franchise) plays Jimmy’s ex-wife who falls in love with Oz while Amanda Pete is Oz dental assistant & friend (but wants to be a hit woman) who is crushing on Jimmy, the bad guy Frankie Fitz is played by the late & great Michael Clark Duncan

I love this movie Bruce Willis & Matthew Perry bouncing off each other is the best thing ever, I have to apologise as an Aussie for Amanda Peet’s bad acting even we don’t want her back.
You were talking about The Longest Yard with the American football theme, the OG film in the 1970’s had Bert Reynolds in the main role the remake had Adam
Sandler in the main role from the 2000’s with Bert Reynolds, Chris Rock, Nelly & many of Happy Gilmore actors

We love it too, shame it got such bad reviews. Yeah we did talk about the Longest Yard for a bit but had to cut, as we ended up talking about this movie for about 45 minutes long
