All Electric Concept Car Based on the Classic BMW Isetta! Amazing Microlino Urban Quadricycle!

- The Microlino was developed by the Swiss company Micro Mobility Systems.
The small electric car takes design cues from the iconic BMW Isetta, with its single front door opening forward to present bench seating for two.
According to the company:
“The goal was to create a vehicle, which was inspired by the bubble cars from the 50’s, but with modern design and technology. In addition, it should be eco-friendly in production and during usage.”
Thanks to its size it can cross-park and therefore needs only 1/3 of the space of a normal car. With the door in the front, you simply exit directly onto the sidewalk when cross-parked.
Although small, the Microlino is spacious on the inside. The bench seat can fit two adults comfortably. With 220 liters of trunk volume there is even enough space for three crates of beer. Or champagne, if that’s what you prefer…
The Microlino is a space-saving, electric bubble car with: Two seats, range of 125 or 200 km, 11 kW power and top speed of 90 km/h.

I absolutely love the way this little car looks, 🥰 I owned an original isetta in the 60’s and loved it back then, it’s good to see a new electric ⚡️ micro car that looks similar to the original car, the big thing will be the price, if it’s too expensive then people will not buy it, also I hope that they don’t over complicate it with too many gadgets, keep it simple like the original, 👍🏻💖

I don't think it seems to become only desgin simmilar there's no things like easy repair engine or a crank if this car had crank i think it would be great drive one
I really like the isetta besides the fact it doesn’t have a fuel injector it has a clutch and the fact it doesn’t have enough horsepower to go on the highway or the fact it doesn’t have seatbelts or the fact it only has a 3 gallon gas tank but that’s very small complaints compared to the stuff I like about it. I really like the gas cap. It has a mpg of 60 it has enough horsepower to go around the city it has a cute sunroof cute back cute door it has climate controls, and it’s so weird and unlike anything out there. At least it was until this came out. I’m they made a predecessor the bmw isetta 600 and then this. I wish to find a bmw isetta 300 that needs repairing so I could get it for cheaper I haven’t come across one.

I think that is cool and green. It would be neat to dive one. I wonder if one could make a gas powered version of the Microlino using the rotary engine from Liquid Piston? (Just thinking out loud).

"Ho posto il carro di fronte ai buoi": se ci riesci fallo anche tu! Con il sole e con il vento viaggerò in eterno. . . dal momento che consumo energia elettrica per viaggiare perché non recuperarne un po' utilizzando un mini o micro generatore eolico, ad asse verticale, posto esternamente da qualche parte dell'automobile e un sistema di pannelli solari? Questi sistemi erogheranno energia . . per sempre.(Mi spiego: un oggetto che si muove, come un'auto, d'avanti a se creerà un vortice, il vento. Il quale impattandosi con la turbina eolica genererà elettricità che ricaricherà le batterie)

The Isetta is great for what it was. Don't ruin it. There are better solutions for plug-in electric designs.

It's unbelivable How stupid the car designers nowadays are, they pick UP a classic car and they intend to release a new one with a Nice engeneering and modernity, but uglier than the original.
