It does but because of the decline in quality of late. If the movies stayed good, people wouldn't get fatigued

that's true... to a degree. you could argue that even if you do get alot of good projects, you could still get fatigued... cuz theres alot of it being spewed out. i'd say that about the mcu in 2021. lots of mcu projects in 2021, most of them hits... but then in 2022 for the mcu, the hype started to slow down.

low quality products linked with over saturation. I really just don't want any superhero movies for a while. 5 years. Give them a rest.

11:58 It was designated as Elseworld long before James Gunn became involved, even before he directed Suicide Squad.

Marvel needs to lock in with secret wars, really the MCUs last chance. May Cillian Murphy save us all.

wow such an insightful, engaging video man! i really dug how you went into detail with why superhero fatigue is an existing topic right now! i made a video like this (shameless plug) but you do a great job explaining yourself. and i believe you're right and the future of superhero content is far more brighter... especially with quality projects coming out real soon.

So, a small subset of people are fatigued but the larger population will still go see the movies and they’ll make bank. Ig you can say it’s not real.

because MCU turned to Cheap lazy solution, like just use a holographic effect,
or characters moves that defy gravity,
i can only watch a Horde of Aliens as a final battle so many times until it become unbearable.
watch the earlier MCU Movie, Everything is Grounded and Believeable,
therefore the audience can connect with the Character, because it's grounded.
Iron Man 1-3 is believeable, and it's like something that could exist in a real world,
same like Captain America, not too crazy,
Also, the new Robert Pattinson's Batman succeed because it's grounded as well,
same like Christian Bale Batman which is grounded as well, compared to Justice league which is yet another horde of Aliens
but we can't relate to a VFX magic superpower
just look at Dr Strange, Captain Marvel or Shang Chi, do you believe that something like that is exist in real world?
when our brain can't believe that, it just shut down, and mark everything as unimportant, illegitimate

      interesting take on this.
i agree, that grounded characters like batman, daredevil and spidey are characters that i could connect with. but i don't believe that the groundedness of the characters is what makes them relatable, and someone i could connect to. i believe its the person behind the power is what truly makes these characters worth tuning into. its how the character copes with having these extraordinary powers, and what they do with them is what makes the man behind the superhero so believable, and interesting to watch. its the main reason why i like watching spider-man, invincible, the boys, daredevil.
but i do understand why the constant barrage of alien armies can get tiring.

I personally have zero interest in watching any movie with the Marvel label on it, only Superhero movie I’ve enjoyed the last few years was The Batman, but that was a noir detective movie rather than a terrible CGI slopfest but even then I didn’t love it, 3rd act really dragged that movie down for me.
