The one pictured is the newer version. The grip is a Navy style grip. The older versions had grips textured to fit right handed users. They were given the Designation: SEF grip
I'm in the Portuguese military, we carry the H&K G3 around all day..people say it's heavy..ok, only in the beginning, after you' ll get used to it..and she's a mean piece of metal you feel like you can stop anithing with it..and guess what? you can! love that recoil
Oh, and i just found this paragraph on Heckler & Koch M8 description of the 'look' they went for with the rifle: "The features list for this futuristic (and fluidly organic, looking as if the M41A Pulse Rifle, or the assault rifle from Halo were crossbred with ... a shark) weapon reads like a slightly simplified version of the ZF1. Made for both lefties and righties with fully ambidextrous firing controls including a "centrally located charging handle that
@amer1cancer2753 AKM has more moving parts. m-16 gas tube doesn't move the rifle until after the bullet has left the muzzle. it wiggles more just from hammer drop than the M-16 does M-16 has a piston friends, the bolt is the piston.
the a4 is the version you can buy a copy of (which is obviously improved in many ways compared to the previous models). the old ones are still okay, but you should buy one with quad rails and avoid bushmaster.
@Airs0ftluv3r any way nice weapon commentary, i prefer the l85 a2 (not the a1) over the CAR weapons plataform, and yes the desing of ak weapons its brilliant
- doubles as an ambidextrous forward assist when required, ambidextrous magazine release, bolt catch, safety/selector lever with semi and full automatic modes of fire and release lever for the multiple position collapsible buttstock."¹ So obvioulsy they do take looks into account.
no the ACR dropped out (i dont know why) it will most likely be the H&K 416 because of its similar structure to the M4 and modularibility. the U.S also has an under barrel shotgun for out troops which can launch any kind of .12 ga system. in my opinion the 416 is a good idea and much more reliable than the m4 and 16
@Vaeljean They are both used in the german army. The G36 is replacing the G3. The comments about the G3 being heavy are pointless, not the gun. Use the "latest" version, wich is much lighter than the old ones or grow some muscles. Don't say it's the gun, if you can't handle it.
The A2 got rid of alot of the over heating problems of the early A1. It has someother differences, but the main is the the reliability of the rifle. And as for those who say that automatic is better than burst, I'll be laughing when I'm still firing and you're out of ammo.
You are probably used to COD 4 and action movies. In real-life you won't get far by emptying the whole magazine in one burst. (Unless you are giving covering fire I guess)
@passisqwermnbv g36 its a beautiful weapon, i have a frein in the spanish military and he tolld me the ergonomics in this rifle are one of the best, i like the mounted special opticts too, exelent rifle any way
@curseofa5r5a Right!!! I love H&K. I've tried G3 G33 G36 and MP5 so far and I love all of them. And like I said I own 2 of them G3 and G36. I don't really care how anyone may say about them I'm still love them all.
weight is a huge deal unless you never had to carry the gun around in a war zone. Big difference carrying the light M4 and its lighter ammo, than an AK variant, or g3/fal that weighs nearly 10+ pounds loaded and ammo weighs about double. Its like saying "do you want to carry 25 pounds or 50" for the same amount of weapons and ammo. Hell, if you say man up just carry a SAW all day. Im sure the 20+ pound weight without ammo is just fine with you. Since you can "man the fuck up"
and australia, its made in austria yes, but aurstralia and ireland....a few other countries may use it. im only sure about those three. its says m16a2 carbine......lol. no. maybe m1733 if it were the carbine version of the m16a2 but the one they have there is the m4a1.
The G36 replaced the G3 a while back..... but they think the G3 is still standard issue??? G3 is strickly for special use only right?. Thats not a traditional AK either, what is that version called?? 74? 101? looks different
Well every gun has perks and flaws. M16 are light, accurate, easy too handle but hard to aim down sight (in M16A1, not sure about other though) and has less stopping power AKM (an AK47 varient) has high stoping power high reliablity, but a little bit too heavy, less accurate and a lot lower fire rate (not sure about other version) HK G3 are my fav, it is accurate and it's very easy to aim down sight, though it is too heavy (I feel it heavier that AKM) and hard to handle.
The Steyr AUG is from Austria and is used also their in army!!! The Australian army only adopted the Steyr AUG from Austria!!! Pls correct your information box! Thx
my comment based on my personal experience (I own 3 of em'). M16 Well they does very accurate I but it's rear sight is too small, that make it hard to aim (unable to aim quickly). Let just say I don't like its sight. (personal comment) for AKM I'm not sure about it (never read its stat.), but i really feel it that way. And G3. they are way too heavy just like you say, but I like its sight. it is the easiest gun to aim down sight (that i've fired so far, again personal feeling)
What the hell are you talking about. Do you know anything. The AKM is lighter than the M16. The AKM is more accurate to date and almost equals the M16. Also the M16 is credited for having some of the best iron sights. The G3 is the heavist and that is why is almost pointless to use that in a battlefield.
@mendacha me2 friend...[IN GREEK ARMY] it is heavy but is the total power...cartrige in your hands...agree??? and YES you can STOP ANYTHINK with the G3A4 :-)
I was just goofing around. Hey, you don't know that they're not. I don't know that they are for sure either! But product design has to cover how the gun looks right? Yeah H&K are the bomb. We should of just commissioned those guys to design and build our rifle.
@Airs0ftluv3r the most acurated assault rifle in the world its the sig 551, it reaches the accuracy of a bolt action rifle at medium range, just talk with a profesional, or look for it in hte internet
only different is the grenade launcher... if you mean the M4 A2 then yea M4 is better by it is automatic and single shot and low recoil i prefer the m16 though
@curseofa5r5a I guess different of each person. I still like G3 above all three though. BTW I've just got my hand on g36e resently, it is now my new favorite rifle.
AK ftw, it won't let ya down but I personally like the Steyr the most. AK wud be my choice for warfare tho. M16s alrite but unreliable so thats well off the list
Reason why is because its a NATO standard cartridge now so basically all or almost all of the NATO countries' assault rifles must be able to chamber and fire that round
@agumon12 Thats because its accurate and doesn't cause too much recoil for most guns. And the reason really is because most of the democratic nations are part of NATO.
Heh, check out the hungarian AK-mod, the AMP-69! Isn't it amazing? It used awesome armor-penetrating and frag grenades. Was never used in the army though. Only in... hmm the 'national guard' back in the socialist times. It is very comfortable to fire as an assault rifle because of those grenade-launcher modifications. Another interesting thing is that our army has dismissed this weapon. And got NO grenadelauncher at ALL. This is just soooo hungarian
What you say makes no sense! Sorry! Of course he means the innovator! For example the AK-74 (also AK-47) was developed in Russia, but is also in combat in many other countries!!! The Steyr AUG is also used in our army (named Stg77)...Austrian army also use it in combat situations...Austria doesn't wage war, but Austrian army is used whole over the world for peacekeeping operations! There AUG is also used! So the information of the vid is false! Also your comment!
What? Hes not saying that we invented it... we just manfuacture and use it. We're mentioned as the user because we're the ones using em in combat right now alongside Americans
I hate our assault rifle (SA80 or L85A2) it looks gay. It's cool we get a scope. But we need a gun that looks mean. Designers should consider this factor next time around! lol! The H&K is cool (i mean the g36) and the fa-mas. The steyr AUG just looks like a barrel with a foregrip. That prototype M8 that H&k did to potentially replace the m16 for the states was cool
ahhhh... relaxing music in the background..
The one pictured is the newer version. The grip is a Navy style grip.
The older versions had grips textured to fit right handed users. They were given the Designation: SEF grip

My fav out of this is the FA-MAS THE AUG AND G3.
im in the singapore armed forces right now and we're using SAR21. go check it out. it's quite space-age.
@mendacha I love our C7's but the G3's are definalty one of the best rifles for a soldier I agree.
@amer1cancer2753 AKM has more moving parts. m-16 gas tube doesn't move the rifle until after the bullet has left the muzzle. it wiggles more just from hammer drop than the M-16 does M-16 has a piston friends, the bolt is the piston.
and the g3 is actually known to jam in full auto more than the m16 a1
the a4 is the version you can buy a copy of (which is obviously improved in many ways compared to the previous models). the old ones are still okay, but you should buy one with quad rails and avoid bushmaster.
yeah, i agree , but i think the g36c varient of the g36 is a better rifle with the ak-74m right behind it
very beattifull
@Vaeljean When the M-16A1 was the weapon of the US, the G-3 was the weapon of Germany.
Barrel mounted grenade? Looks pretty badass...
now it is.
if its pictoral thats the newer version of mp5 (A4/A5) SEF is the old one
@Airs0ftluv3r any way nice weapon commentary, i prefer the l85 a2 (not the a1) over the CAR weapons plataform, and yes the desing of ak weapons its brilliant
in some countries.................
at cyprus we steel have g3s,but only the tactical army.
- doubles as an ambidextrous forward assist when required, ambidextrous magazine release, bolt catch, safety/selector lever with semi and full automatic modes of fire and release lever for the multiple position collapsible buttstock."¹ So obvioulsy they do take looks into account.

Gettin my fire arms and kenny G fix in the same video.....
other way around and G36 is a totally different gun from G3, MP5 is morelss a smaller G3 with 9mm round.
I swear, the 5.56 is the most popular round ever! Despite its disadvantage.
This guy has the best job in the world.
@Vaeljean They are both used in the german army. The G36 is replacing the G3.
The comments about the G3 being heavy are pointless, not the gun. Use the "latest" version, wich is much lighter than the old ones or grow some muscles.
Don't say it's the gun, if you can't handle it.
@TheLastVelkirk if your right handed and they eject on the right site where the problem
i wonder what model g3 it is because the model i own has a different selector switch that switch looks like an mp5 or g36
I just wanted to know what this program is called. I've seen it all over youtube. But yet, not a single original source.
i wish this had better music.
because hes trying to hit something
pretty heavy recoil for the famas
AUG is my personal preferance.
But all these rifles beast up the battlefield.
The A2 got rid of alot of the over heating problems of the early A1. It has someother differences, but the main is the the reliability of the rifle. And as for those who say that automatic is better than burst, I'll be laughing when I'm still firing and you're out of ammo.
On those guns with the magazine feed behind the trigger- wouldn't the shells ejecting by your face be kind of annoying?
bcoz they aint famous and havent been used much, so not many can tell how good they are in combat
@zainaku
no, he should carry an M60.
I'm not about the weight of the weapon, but it's ammo.
sorry if that was misunderstood.
A1 isn't used anymore, A4 is by Marines and some Army.
This comes from a japanese show, but they've never had the Howa ttype 89 on it ithey're are barely any i dept videos on the type 89
G3 used to be, and is probably still used in parts of the german army.
@Askarion
sadly...
You are probably used to COD 4 and action movies. In real-life you won't get far by emptying the whole magazine in one burst.
(Unless you are giving covering fire I guess)
which is better, M16 A1 or A2??
@shadoweye10 Everybody has there own comfortable shooting styles.
@passisqwermnbv g36 its a beautiful weapon, i have a frein in the spanish military and he tolld me the ergonomics in this rifle are one of the best, i like the mounted special opticts too, exelent rifle any way
@curseofa5r5a
Right!!!
I love H&K. I've tried G3 G33 G36 and MP5 so far and I love all of them. And like I said I own 2 of them G3 and G36.

the g3 is in it but not the g36? and styr aug is in it? hm, quite outdated....
@amer1cancer2753 i think passis is talking about COD4 cuz that's all the action he gets.
there all on three round burst
yes but germany use today the hk g36 at major weapon the g3 is old
The G36 replaced the G3 a while back..... but they think the G3 is still standard issue??? G3 is strickly for special use only right?.
Thats not a traditional AK either, what is that version called?? 74? 101? looks different
the m16 a3 is the best. better made and has full auto like the a1
they still use the G3 right? i thought they used both?
@KrptoSodium its americas Remmington compony, they worked in tandem with Barret to produce the REC7 its shoots a 6.8mm round. needs to be the new NATO
@Vaeljean
not anymore, but it has been for over 50 years. who knows, when rhis video was short?
@passisqwermnbv man i used an m16 once and i found its sigths very confortable; the g3 sigths are very hard to controle for me instead...
I prefer The Galil SAR !!
that shooter has awful drills, he doesn't lean in enough and you never push the bolt back, you release it.
Well every gun has perks and flaws.
M16 are light, accurate, easy too handle but hard to aim down sight (in M16A1, not sure about other though) and has less stopping power

@mendacha i love H&K, best gun company yet
in the discription for the vid the AUG is
AUSTRIAN
not
AUSTRAILIAN
fix it up plox
People will probably call me a stupid gamer. but why doesn't de guy use the foregrip on the AUG? wouldn't that improve his aim?
@mendacha me2 friend...[IN GREEK ARMY] it is heavy but is the total power...cartrige in your hands...agree??? and YES you can STOP ANYTHINK with the G3A4 :-)
wow, G3 has the strongest caliber....
I was just goofing around. Hey, you don't know that they're not. I don't know that they are for sure either! But product design has to cover how the gun looks right? Yeah H&K are the bomb. We should of just commissioned those guys to design and build our rifle.

They prob do in the same way some US troops are using the M14.
Steyr AUG (Austria*)

trust the japanese to make such a zen video on guns lol
What? Hes not saying that we invented it... we just manfuacture and use it. We're mentioned as the user because we're the ones using em in combat right now alongside Americans
Looks like a Rifle on steroids
Let's see you carry 90 lbs on your back and be glad to carry 6 more for some armchair commando telling you to "man up" and prefer a heavier rifle.
@amer1cancer2753 he learned everything he knows from CoD...
