Hey I wanted to know what happens if I start to dlc and then go new game+ will I lose access to the dlc until I beat mogh and radahn or will I keep access to it
@@Blindking84you will probably lose access to it and your progress for the dlc
Correct, and dlc will be harder too
I noticed in your Wiki page that you haven't added the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword. It would be interesting to see what could be the most optimal build since it scales with Strength and Arcane, but deals both physical and magic damage.
Wait so since I’m on new game plus 8 does that mean I’m playing the hardest version of the dlc?
“Sigh”
*Checks how many larval tears I have left for another build*
Seriously please give us more
It takes so long to make a new character :(
I just got the last 3 in the main game, didn't realized I switched around so much
naval tears are abundant if u roam the doc at night
@@botp1ayer953 what? there are a fixed amount of larval tears in the game per playthrough, it is 18 in the base game and 3 more in the DLC
“Not even close baby.”
The editor needs a shoutout 😂
Plot twist:he is the editor
I like how Fex is always more dedicated to the drip over the build, reminds you to have fun
Yes. The werewolf build is comin along nicely
Exactly ! ^^
I went a little while with blood hound claws and lifesteal fist so I could "feed" on enemies to heal. Switched to bleed claws for bosses. It was a lot of fun
Thank god we have Blaidd’s head
Brother… sleep…
Sleep build? Idk if that is viable but he should still try it
@@lockiet7227 lol
@@lockiet7227he needs a sleep build IRL
Why sleep when dlc so good
Don't sleep! We need more builds! 😅
Only this beautiful man can take a strength build weapon and turn it into an arcane build
This is supposed to be a strength weapon? It is really good for a dex build
@@Duncanbro10scaling is a tiny bit better on strenght but it works well on dex too if you‘re an arcane build. Using these on my dragon build with 40 str/50 arcane and I am destroying mobs with it. Its really fun.
@@Duncanbro10 A in strength B in dex but they are relative so either work
Honestly I think it'd be sick for a savage Sorcerer build. Put frost on them for the bleed and frost combo and go to town
Not really, you can do it will a lot of weapons. Anyone can do it.
was loving your builds at main game. still loving your builds at dlc. wish we have enough larval tear for all these tempting builds. :D thanks for your amazing effort. keep up the good work.
ps. seeing some comments about you need to get rest a little. yes, you really sound tired but I know that someone will have rest when they doing the job they want. this is why I know you are at good state on mind. but ofc do think sleep some :)
Bear build hype up is looking real promising
Actually I'm pretty sure there's claws Actually called the red bears claws in the dlc
This is what I've been using for my playthrough. Super fun, super strong.
I just love the dedication and love these people are putting into this game.
Been waiting for this 🙏
Keep up the great content! This is a great build!!
Im trying this build in ng+ and im having a blast! Thanks for making the video man
Sleep? He never sleeps! He just waits in the shadows and he will give content to you all! Everyone who sniffed the air that day in THE LANDS BETWEEN! *shoves a new video into your face*
But I beg of you, take a rest even though we greatly appreciate the rapid content being offered to us!
goated reference btw
Shame they never returned that protagonist
Finally, thank you!
Thank u so much ur my favorite Elden ring TH-camr now u can get some me sleep
Finally bro ive been waiting for this
This is awesome Ty man!
I'm def gonna try and make a build around the Bear Claws. The weapon arts the NPC uses on you are so damn strong.
Glad he took my advice for the Sac blade offhand for some FP recovery =D
That Rellana fight though. Bleed builds really are OP.
Was waiting for this one😂
Ohhhh man, I love the look of these. I can see naked Blue Dancer Beast Claw build in my future lol
Thx for the cute build
Amazing claws! Could you do a star-lined sword build soon? This katana looks so good and chears me up 🎉
Love all your builds so far! I've given most of them a fair shake too. Which build do you prefer? I like your great katana and kung fu build the most.
A very apt name for the build, because after seeing how you handled that Rellana fight, you are a BEAST my man! Holy cow that was amazing to watch! Great build as always, thank you so much for all the videos, you’re the best (or should I say you’re the beast, lol)!
In terms of fashion, if you want to lean more in the beastial aspect of things and dislike the more clean look of the armor, you can hit 51 poise exactly by going with this outfit :
Divine beast helm
Braided Cord Robe
Bullgoat gauntlet
Bullgoat Greaves
You would only need to have 19 stamina to medium roll, but like its said in the video, this build chew stamina like there’s no tomorrow, so I’d recommend upping it way more than that.
Divine beast helm also gives + 3 to strength and stamina, so a wretch wouldn’t need any investment on those stat to wield the claws and instead pump vigor, mind or stamina,
for my lvl 200 I was able to go 80 vigor, 25 mind and 37 stamina, while having 27 faith to incorporate the crucible incantation and still have 80 arcane for the occult claws
Definitely one the most fun and thematic build, would recommend trying it out
This is insane. I just got the monk's weapon but this is insane .
I'm running a build similar to this one with the bear claws, but have faith up to 40 for some incantations. The dragon communion seal mixed with the big dragon bite is just so nice for stance breaks as well. Pretty much carried me through mesmer
Guys he's been playing the dlc for weeks, he doesn't have to wait like us , don't worry hes taking care of himself 😊
Another great build! Love your videos I hope you do a RAKSHASA'S GREAT KATANA build sometime also
I’m running these with a Dex Faith set up and they are shredding everything on Ng+3. I just swapped out the Nagakiba for them. Can’t wait to see what it does once I tweak my stats a little
3:10 you can tell this man is actually good at the game, those jumps/dodges were smooth.
thats just how you dodge that move
@@woodster605And?
@@griffinmckenzie7203that’s literally the most probable way to dodge the move lol. it’s either you do what he does or you get hit, so basically anyone that can dodge that move is actually good? lol
@@moonvro Yes. If they dodge, they're good. Simple as that. Some sort of problem?
@@griffinmckenzie7203 im just saying its not like some incredible play that shows hes amazing at the game. He was simply just doing the only thing possible to not die
Great build fextra!! i missed completely this weapon on my playthrough for some reason so i'll go there to get it, the dlc has been kinda mixed feelings because the bosses are scaling like crazy on co-op or npc summons but we are resolute and will get to the end...
The Npc was bugged before day 1 patch
Just got the dlc and gonna try this one out for sure! Was wondering what others are there like this one aggressive and up in your face type of build? I love this playstyle too
Really enjoying this weapon in particular, good job making build videos so quickly lol. Speaking of the Beast Claws, do y’all think it could work well in a Dex/Faith Blackflame/Bloodflame build? I believe it’d make a fun & aggressive incantation build that has ranged options to make up for the Beast Claws point-blank attacks whilst applying both Bleed & Blackflame DOT, which both scale with an enemy’s overall HP
Sounds pretty cool, try it out
Would love to see a tooth whip poison build !
I’m currently doing a build with the Shadow Sunflower Blossom and it wrecks shop! Great for jump attacks and its weapon art does so much damage! Hope you use it for a build 🙌🏻
About to pick up the Putrescence Cleaver. Want to put together some hybrid str/arc build? Maybe either way, it looks wicked. I can't wait to try this build as well also!
I love this weapon so much. A T’Challa build through strength/arcane is finally possible
I really like how aggressive the claws are too, as I like to play really aggressively as well. Even though this game does punish you for being too aggressive. But I was using the claws with Messmer flame grease on my Escanor build.
A slight variant I've been using for bosses is with the Barbaric Roar AoW and roar medallion. The modified L2 with the roar absolutely shreds most enemies, and can land it in boss punish windows unlike the default AoW
I use the strength w/bloodflame version of this and still have no issues recasting it IF it's necessary, which by the time bloodflame runs out I don't really feel the need to recast anyway since they're likely over half dead.
i love how bleed is still a thing, its so useful! I had a question, were you thinking of making a Tank/ Heavy knight build? Sorta matching the Perfect Paladin, with emphasis on buffs, and a great sword? is that possible? im currently trying to make one for the DLC, and i know Armor of Solitude gives a nice poise, but im unsure how to pair a good sword and shield.
i was just thinking about going with a bleed build, ive been fighting radahn and man he has so much hp, especialy when you summon npcs
it geniuenly would have been easier to beat him without the npcs but i want the bonus dialogue you get from summoning them
I just learned you can power stance different purfume bottles, pretty neat launching fire and magic at enemies
And you can change the ash if war. I put storm stomp on to stagger fools
thanks for the great video!! wouldnt have been able to complete a single souls game without you guys! quick question, whats the best place to dumb our excess stats? arcane vigor and endurance? or would you recommend strength or dex for more physical damage??
also get some rest when you can
Vigor to 60 Endurance to 50 then Arcane 60-80 is a good dump stat if you got bleed because increase damage + increase drop rates or your main weapon scaling stats to those same numbers 60 and 80 and usually the walls when you get less benefit from increasing the stat.
I really wanna see how you do a Bear Build or a build centered around Rakshasa
I pair this bad boy up with Milady wing the wingstance ash of war. For a calculated savage play style. It's been fun bypassing invaders using boss weapons and AOE ash of wars with just successive attacks and then finishing them with a flourish and stab with Milady.
It also works very well with frost build up. Frost prog in like 4 hits, its crazy. (I had 60 Int) So its also an interesting weapon for mages!
Hey Fextra, is there an Eta as to when the game progress guide on the wiki will be completed?
Good Old guts Greatsword with the upgraded version of Lion's Claw is working wonders for me.
@Fextralife did you try cold affinity with these guys? I found that cold for this weapon or the starfist seem far superior (more damage + quick frost proc) to anything else unless the boss is specifically strong against magic/frostbite.
I am thinking of using these claws with the dragon form and the Blue Dancer Charm. Question, does the Occult damage scale better for bleed than putting Bleed on it? I am coming from the Sanguine Samurai Build and was thinking about skirting the use of the larval tear. Thoughts?
Hello, I’d love to see you putting together a throwing blade build!
I use this with the "blue baller" build. Way more damage with magic armament set to heavy claws. Also use the monk wraps and just set to magic so it deals insane damage since you already have 50+INT.
This is the one for sure
It’s definitely a neat weapon, reminds me a bit of some of Hoara Louxe’s moves.
Why would you go occult over blood for the type with this weapon?
Muito bom o vídeo 👏
Hay do you have a good dlc friendly int/dex build?
Maybe something for str/ faith or dex/arc?
Does this build work well with the Bear Claw beast claw weapon? Specifically its default skill?
Literally just found this weapon and I open youtube to find this lol
I find holding the turtle shield in your off hand helps alot
"Not even close baby" made me laugh lolol
damn the way you destroyed rellana :D
also, can we get a greathammer build?
I am actually starting to get worried about you man. Get some rest man. Again, appreciate the videos and everything but we'll also like to see you in good health.
Also, great content as always.
Very cool. Any chance of a DLC Bow Build update?
Beastclaw was my biggest surprise of the DLC, didn't have high hopes for it before release but its moveset is just so good, by lunging forward its great for bosses that jump around a lot. I used heavy infusion and bloodflame blade and it was hard to buff at certain points, but if you can do it during phase transitions its really effective.
Yes! Finally a short ranged weapon that has movement for the attacks! It isn't standing in damn place.
It is ridiculous for daggers and fist weapons. This type of forward and erratic movement is how all daggers or fist weapons should be!
I love it so far. I am SO rusty from not playing so, and probably should have used a weapon im golden with. Yet I am doing great with them so far.
We will see when I fight bosses.
Using this in right hand & Red Bear Claw in my offhand for looks/occasional switch to for the Bear Hunt Ash of War. I have the Beast Claw itself equipped with the bloodhound step for nice quick dodges & repositions straight back into unleashing flurries of attacks, it feels really fun & agile xD
Heavy strength focus on mine though as im also using a great hammer for enemies that this doesn't pair well with.
PLSSS do a build with her weapon and or Arcane! Thanks for your amazing content
I threw the Cold AoW from Dancing Lion onto Beast Claw with Blasphemous Blade in the Off-Hand. Proccing bleed fairly quickly and Frostbite pretty quick too.
would love to see a smith script build and even better if it includes the dagger as well with the tailsman.
Ducking down below enemy attacks using the ash of war is so satisfying 😄
He never sleeps Fextra. He says he’ll never die
The heavy attack can be altered by dashing right before the attack comes out. Nothing crazy but could be useful
I am wondering if reaching 101 poise is worth it for this build to be able to keep attacking thru more hits ? It would include bull-goat talisman. I am doing a tank build for this already. Because you need stamina+you need to stay alive to keep attacking :D
I've also noticed that the backstep -> attack makes you SOAR foward, meaning you can backstep to create space away from an attack preemptively then leap foward to strike back.
how do you make your weapon scale in occult? I have the whetblade but I can only have blood or poison, not occult?
Am i the last person to figure out that if you use the heavy attack and doge buttons together, it has a built in doge that looks similar to Bloodhound's fang ashe of war?
How does well Beast Claw scale with DEX? I’m trying to figure out what sort of build I want to try with this weapon, whether Arcane or otherwise. I haven’t gotten this one yet, since I just started the DLC and need to defeat Logur to get it.
do you have any tips for using these against the final boss? i am really struggling using the beast claws there
A lot of these fast weapons are really cool, but the problem is (like with end game vanilla Elden Ring), the bosses give you like a half second window of attack and so the "meta" of PvE still seems to revolve too much around single big damage attacks (Lion's Claw, jumping L1 Raptor Feathers, etc) to make full use of weapons like this against bosses
I think you should use the rotten sword insignia instead of the crusade insignia because you will be constantly hitting especially against larger/slower bosses
started using the beast claws as an alternative to the bloodhound knight claws and doing that cold str+int claw build. its gotta better moveset but the bloodhound knight claws are still holding up very well so its hard to stick with one
How did u get ur bloodloss buildup to 84? I have it maxed out and switching it occult affinity makes it do 40 bloodloss buildup for me
Dex arcane next 👌
Fex after 99 arcane where should i put points to keep increasing attack power strength or dex?
dumb question, how to you change the infusion to occult, when this AoW is unique to this weapon? I understand you need the applicable whetstone as well.
What do you think is the best build because I’m struggling a insane amount I can’t even beat the lion
Can we see a few builds updated? Like death mage with the new spells, crucible knight using the wings, Dragon dancer with fire lighting?
would it be worth to put a seal on for flame grand me strength and golden vow?
Is it possible to make a finger sorcerer or new gravity sorcerer builds?
Can someone pls help how does he have occult affinity with the savage claws ash of war still? it does not let me select occult with that ash of war
Could you do a build using the curseblade’s cirque ? This are cool weapons but I’m not sure how to use them
Is it possible to put ‘savage claws’ on the hookclaws? I want to do a Wolverine build , but if not a SABERTOOTH build works too lol
Work ethic is unmatched.
I barely noticed that I hadn’t subscribed, I’m such a dummy. I made sure to fix that. Thanks for all the info.
is it the occult infusion that provides the (84) buildup of bleed? (I could only upgrade weapon to +22 so far) How does this build compare to Rivers of Blood Katana? Thanks for the great video as always!
Awwh, you’re one of those people. Yes it’s the Arcane scaling boosting the bleed build up, if you’d watched the video you would know that. And comparing this to Rivers of Blood is a bit silly as they are both very different except that they both apply bleed. Having said that though I personally would rather the claws if I had to choose just 1.
The real answer is to try them both out and other weapons yourself and formulate your own opinions though.
