Hi, I'm Katie and I may plan a bit differently from others. I am neurodivergent and planning around chronic illnesses, so I write in pencil and leave things very flexible. I also misspeak and misspell a lot due to auditory processing and dyslexia. As an RN, I love this video. Most infusion offices (chemo, cardiac, Chron's, kidney....) do not tell folks what to bring to the appointment for their mental, emotional, and spiritual health during the long sit time. I also tell folks to bring some hand wipes for before or after snacks, and ChapStick/lip balm (the air may be dry). If you receive infusions through a port, there are shirts and hoodies on Amazon that zip/flap at the shoulder for ease of accessing your port while keeping you warm. If you are getting infusions through an arm IV or are getting dialysis, there are also shirts/hoodies that zip/unzip from wrist to shoulder.

Oh, you have a texture sensitivity to silicone. I bet that's why the Sterling Ink tweed cover bothers you. Now that I think about it, I think it's a similar texture to silicone.
Yes I can see that similarity. I also have a bunch of silicon cooking utensils that don’t bother me at all but they aren’t the super smooth kind of silicon. Not bumpy and I can’t see any texture but they have a grip to them. Our bodies and brains! So extraordinary and unique.
