The smaller second pump is a necessity in barrow as there is many tight streets and low bridges within the stations ground, making it ideal for access.

Yes, it carries a full complement of equipment that you would find on a standard full size appliance

They are an on-call crew, so they were probably waiting for a firefighter to get to the station
They are on call, they can’t really do much until the last crew member gets there.
