I have a dark foliages type dahlia. My green ones root no problem but these cuttings are just sitting there doing nothing, including not dying. They’re in the open porch and get sun and are watered regularly. What else can I do? They’re almost two months old lol

Yes some cuttings are just stubborn by nature. In this circumstance I would get one out and examine the cut surface. If there are no roots at all after weeks then they are unlikely to develop. You can try hormone rooting compound on the new cuttings next time around. Also I usually protect the cutting from drying out with a plastic bag until rooted.

Love the videos. Question. I have a lot of tubers that the necks/stem side were damaged but the rest looked ok, so I decided to plant them anyways. They are making a LOT of roots and aren't rotting, but they just can't seem to sprout. Am I wasting my time hoping that maybe an eye/stem will magically form?

Hi Daniel, thanks for your comment and question. The eye is crucial to getting an adult plant and as you say, roots can appear without them. If you dont have eyes after 3 weeks (in a warm environment) then they are very unlikely to appear, so I fear you do not have viable plants there.

Yes, I learnt this in a previous video, so when it happened to me, I was not surprise.
