I'd say the placement of Kuma in the story and the fact that he actually saved the strawhats, is a good indication that his characteristics, mainly DF, support the theory that Lily used the paw-paw to scatter the poneglyphs. If we're going to dig in the void century and long dead characters, I think it's natural to use this "old users" device in the story
On that note, given that we've theorised that the Paw Paw fruit will end up with one of the Strawhats because of us missing the numbers 2 and 9 in the Strawhat devil fruit names, wouldn't it be interesting if Vivi rejoins the crew and is the one to get it? It would be a nice parallel, and given how much importance she seems to be getting, it could be a great device for her involvement in the ending of the story. What precisely she'd do with it is a different question though.

Sawyer, I think that the blocks were actually perhaps teleported across the world using the paw-paw fruit, which might be the connection on why Vegapunk was working with Kuma, to understand his memories. Could even be that, perhaps, Vegapunk was trying to see if devil fruit contained memories from previous users, or if the fruit's powers allowed the user to repel previous memories, which Vegapunk could then look into. And if this was the case, wouldn't it be interesting if Vivi somehow got the Paw-Paw fruit, making that connection back to her resemblance to Lily, whilst paying off that theory of the 10th Strawhat could be a paw-paw fruit user?

Last 2 chapters answered every question we needed. Even if we don’t go back to Egghead now; with so many direct answers and revelations the plot can go completely to side characters or back right as climax is going on! Also rewatching Wano through the anime really makes me see how many clear plot points Oda rewrote especially Zunesha and the gorousei vis a vis Nika; ie the gorousei asking ‘WhY did the govt change the name of the fruit’ when they would’ve obviously known. Idk it’s interesting to read a story knowing that plot points have been deliberately shortened and/or cut to streamline it when One Piece has so much to give out of the world that we still don’t know. All the best Oda! I just had a theory what if devil fruits not allowing the user to swim has a connection to Atlantis being under water? Ie; those who eat the devil fruit may not return (atleast by traditional means) to the sea. Also when the story begins we are told Roger ‘started’ the great age of piracy; ie piracy was not a widely popular calling and people were not sailing around the world regularly. This is another good indicator that there has to have been some way to get around in the void century with the tech of old kingdom.

I think you’re almost spot on. Rosward’s name is used similar to Charlos in the story so it may not be the family name. But 9/20 is far more than we had before this last chapter

I believe that in the same way that Laws devil fruit can grant infinite youth, it can also revert the infinite youth ability - wich in turn will take his life. So in the endgame of Onepiece I believe we will see Law reverting Imus infinite youth, but he will sacrifice his own life.

Someone said that the 5 elder planets and Imu represent the time in the Roman era where we thought everything revolved around the earth (Imu) and the 5 elder planets are named after the 5 planets that we knew about as people. Then when we discovered that everything revolves around the sun (Luffy) we discovered 3 other planets (the names of the 3 ancient weapons.) and I thought that was a very cool comparison.

I feel as though Imu destroyed Lulucia Kingdom not just because it was closest to the Holy Land, but, it was also the closest island that Wapol or Sabo could escape to undetected
Sabo was about to snitch about Imu's existance on den den mushi who's signal was picked up by the navy right before Lulusia Kingdom got destroyed which cut off the signal, I think Imu knew what he was doing.
Vivi not being a princess, ace not being rogers son, and Doffy and corazon no blood relationship is crazy. It hurts my head to think how much the story and characters would’ve been different if these didn’t happen

Choosing Lulusia had less to do with running out of energy than showing how indifferent Mu was to the Lulusians, at least way I read it. Kinda seemed like it could've been any island, maybe he didn't even care if they were revolting or not. Also, what I'm most hyped about going forward is seeing Mihawk/Crocodile encounter the Seraphim. Seems like the kind of thing that would light a fire under those two. It also seems like the Seraphim hold onto their original personalities a bit, and especially with Crocodile I want to see what that means. He was never the strongest warlord, and his devil fruit though a logia, is pretty outclassed as far as Logias go as well. He got what he wanted through being cunning , smart, and meticulate, and I'm wondering how that presents itself in Crocodile. What I like about the D being transferrable, is the entire story kinda being around Found Family so it really fits in that aspect as well. Anyway this was a really cool video, just discovered you, just subscribed.
Maybe Poneglyphs were not transported separately. Let's say, there was one big land, that was broken down in little pieces due to an ancient weapon. And those islands were scattered across the grand line while having Poneglyphs on them. Oz the continent puller could have helped. And the castle's name Pangea is actually a name that world nobles stole from the original big land. Also there's an idea that Onigashima is actually the second eye of Skypia+Jaya skull. Makes sense, as Wano was once a country of gold and Skypia is, well, golden. EDIT: typo
Well I agree. He should be taking more breaks and sleeping 8-10hours not 4! Lack of sleep probably was a big part that caused problems with his eyes. The story has also suffered greatly due to lack of sleep. He doesn't need to rush it.

Am I the only one who thinks that Imu's future sight is so good, they specifically targeted Sabo in advance? Kinda like the omniscient Soul King in Bleach. Also, I think Imu is a beautiful lady. One Piece takes a lot of inspiration from the Anime Estaban Child of the Sun. An anime Oda watched around the age 8-9 (if I remember correctly). One of the big plot points in that show and book, is that - along with 4 road poneglyphs in that series marking a hidden treasure, is that the setting is a lost technology setting where war put advanced civilizations far back. One of the lost technologies is nuclear technology, hence the Mother Flame. Spoilers below: The 'One piece" equivalent in Estaban, after following the gylphs deciphered by Robin Equivalent (after their tribe was destroyed for being able to read and study them), is actually a portable Fusion Reactor. A small, carryable, infinite power source. Considering Vegapunk's wishes, that very much may play a role. Either being the One Piece itself and finishing the Thousand Sunny, giving it the literal power of a thousand suns and not needing cola power, or being the Mother Flame after all instead. The D. Initial is related to hidden lore of one piece history, like that of Estaban child of the sun, and would be the original settlers of the planet. Since the original kingdom was actually visited by stranded aliens. This would explain the spacesuits of the Celestial Dragons. It's been so long they forgot why they shouldn't breath other's air. The exact specifics of who started the conflict and why was said to be extremely stupid. So stupid that nobody wanted to remember it anyway. But this also means it's impossible to tell who's fault it is and who originally lived on the planet One Piece takes place on, and who are the original invaders. Enel can confirm these plot points at this point as being probable, having confirmed beings existing on Fairy Vearth. Meaning Estaban Child of the Sun plays a bigger inspiration that many could imagine. **The strawhat is necessary for acquiring the Fusion Reactor. If it's following that anime 1:1. LOL, That's why Roger couldn't get it at the time he was there. He gave the hat to shanks who wasn't present. Also why Imu has a giant stone strawhat.* Go ahead, pin me. I'll be your One Piece Prophet.

So a possibility for the poneglyphs getting transported could be Kuma's devil fruit instant and distance isnt an issue where as Van Augers might have a limit. the other option is the giants have more than enough time to travel round the world and drop these stones to specific locations cause they have never been part of the WG. Imu seems to be able to use Moriahs devil fruit with the shadow manipulation thats wild idea i know but also i think he has multiple devil fruits. the scientists 800 years ago i think were able to create logia's DF powers and Imu might have the Yami Yami no mi power too.
The Sheppard Jupiter Gorosei, being the first pope would be a reference to him having the youth surgery first on the account he looks the youngest. Makes so much sense.
Nerona is also a name given to young girls in christian families it means beautiful so interpreted another way you could say imus name really means beautiful ocean 🌊. Also the planet which that name symbolizes is wait for it….Uranus
When I was reading the chapter today, I saw 'Mother Frame' and thought it was some sort of framework or device that let Imu and the Gorosei (which sounds like a band name) use Uranus, which till then they couldn't. But I feel like it's been a little while since Vegapunk invented it, maybe a few years, and that he incorporated Kuma's fruit but also Kuma's memories or personality into the framework, and getting control of that has taken more time than they expected. When we first met Vegapunk he was complaining about not being able to erase the personalities of the animals he enhanced, which could foreshadow this plot. My theory is that Vegapunk was asked to invent a control system for a flying device and used Kuma's fruit as a model, but thanks to Dragon and Kuma himself he was suspicious of the true purpose of this device and put Kuma's personality into the framework as a check on their potentially-evil designs. They also expected Kuma to be in Marie Geoise a lot following his robotification so him being close at hand would let him stop the device if it were activated. At the time, they couldn't have expected that Kuma would be rescued from Marie Geoise right as the device was utilized, and I think that's why he was rushing back there, he sensed it was being activated and was trying to go stop it like he was supposed to. Also, since it's called Mother Frame/Flame, it may have something to do with Kuma's wife, Bonney's mother, and we'll find that out when we finally see Kuma's memories.
I think there’s a parallel here with Lili and the biblical figure Lilith, especially considering Adam and Eve are also referenced in One Piece (Sunlight Tree Eve and Treasure Tree Adam). Lilith (who is considered a demon or devil), insolently refused to be subservient to Adam and left (or was banished from) the Garden of Eden. This is similar to Lili leaving the 20 kings on her own. And the idea of a good guy in One Piece having parallels to or being labeled as a demon / devil is consistent in the story. Michelangelo portrayed Lilith as a half woman-half serpent, coiled around the Tree of Knowledge. This tree is also referenced in One Piece with Ohara, which has a connection to poneglyphs, which Lili has also been now confirmed to be highly responsible for. The serpent symbolism could also connect her to Amazon Lily. Also the obvious similarity between the names Lili and Lilith! (I posted this on Reddit in some threads a few days ago but wanted to share here!)
“D” is the sun rising over the horizon and ushering in the [d]awn. Dawn has traditionally come from the Sun which brings fire and the Lunarians are also fire based users.
I was thinking about maybe the Motherflame being an superior energy source from the void century, aka an energy source that could power the giant robot from egghead or... PLUTON the ancient weapon from the void century that has been running on the finite superior energy of the motherflame, but since its source of energy has been seized by history the weapon couldnt be used anymore until vegapunk reinvents it.
If you look at the Monster Ranchers Wiki, type in Moo who is the main villain. The story is going the same way as one piece now. Moo is a shadow Entity that is linked to a physical body and he has the power to bring out the darkness of the soul of others like the gorosei and he is is from an ancient kindgom in the past and he has 5 generals like imu. Just reading that helped to understand where the story may br heading and oda may have taken some inspiratuin
I think Nerona is a pun on Verona, the italian city home of the Romeo & Juliet tale. Notice how while we are told the name of Imu, there’s a castle with hearts. Also, the symbol of the Capuleto family, looks like a spaceship… or like a strawhat.
Sawyer, please look into the similarities of: - The "Void Century" with the Black Legend - The "Ancient Kingdom" with the Hispanic Empire - The "D." with the D. some Hispanics used to have before their given name during the Hispanic Empire - The "Tenryubito" with the Anglo-Saxon hegemony. I’m thinking that the D. Initial is a Code that originated in the Void Century after the World Government won the war. It came to be by the survivors of the war that refused to give up fighting the World Government and they formed a resistance group dedicated to overthrowing the World Government. They chose the letter D. to represent the members of this Resistance Group for some reason, which is why Lili has the D. in her family name of Nefertari and also why D. members are known as “The enemies of God”. The resistance group came to be known as the Clan of D. which is why so many different families have the D. Initial. Clans are big organizations made up of different families. It would also explain why Imu didn’t know that Lili was a D. member until Cobra confirmed how she signed her name on that letter she wrote that was passed down through the generations. Just my theory.

Someone said that the 5 elder planets and Imu represent the time in the Roman era where we thought everything revolved around the earth (Imu) and the 5 elder planets are named after the 5 planets that we knew about as people. Then when we discovered that everything revolves around the sun (Luffy) we discovered 3 other planets (the names of the 3 ancient weapons.) and I thought that was a very cool comparison.

@@georgecavert6778 Neptune and Poseidon are essentially the same god except different pantheons. One is Roman (Neptune) and the other Greek. So you could translate that. Also Nusjuro there is a V. Initial there so Venus. Juro being at the end of his most likely because he’s probably a descendant of a family from Wano based on that, his attire, and him possibly wielding a Kitetsu blade. ☺️

I feel as though Imu destroyed Lulucia Kingdom not just because it was closest to the Holy Land, but, it was also the closest island that Wapol or Sabo could escape to undetected
I originally understood what imu said as the latter
Sabo was about to snitch about Imu's existance on den den mushi who's signal was picked up by the navy right before Lulusia Kingdom got destroyed which cut off the signal, I think Imu knew what he was doing.
The Gorosei called Sabo unlucky so they at least didn't know.
Vivi not being a princess, ace not being rogers son, and Doffy and corazon no blood relationship is crazy. It hurts my head to think how much the story and characters would’ve been different if these didn’t happen

Choosing Lulusia had less to do with running out of energy than showing how indifferent Mu was to the Lulusians, at least way I read it. Kinda seemed like it could've been any island, maybe he didn't even care if they were revolting or not.
Also, what I'm most hyped about going forward is seeing Mihawk/Crocodile encounter the Seraphim. Seems like the kind of thing that would light a fire under those two. It also seems like the Seraphim hold onto their original personalities a bit, and especially with Crocodile I want to see what that means. He was never the strongest warlord, and his devil fruit though a logia, is pretty outclassed as far as Logias go as well. He got what he wanted through being cunning , smart, and meticulate, and I'm wondering how that presents itself in Crocodile.
What I like about the D being transferrable, is the entire story kinda being around Found Family so it really fits in that aspect as well.

Maybe Poneglyphs were not transported separately. Let's say, there was one big land, that was broken down in little pieces due to an ancient weapon. And those islands were scattered across the grand line while having Poneglyphs on them. Oz the continent puller could have helped. And the castle's name Pangea is actually a name that world nobles stole from the original big land.
Also there's an idea that Onigashima is actually the second eye of Skypia+Jaya skull. Makes sense, as Wano was once a country of gold and Skypia is, well, golden.

Well I agree. He should be taking more breaks and sleeping 8-10hours not 4! Lack of sleep probably was a big part that caused problems with his eyes. The story has also suffered greatly due to lack of sleep. He doesn't need to rush it.

One Piece takes a lot of inspiration from the Anime Estaban Child of the Sun. An anime Oda watched around the age 8-9 (if I remember correctly).
One of the big plot points in that show and book, is that - along with 4 road poneglyphs in that series marking a hidden treasure, is that the setting is a lost technology setting where war put advanced civilizations far back. One of the lost technologies is nuclear technology, hence the Mother Flame.
Spoilers below:
The 'One piece" equivalent in Estaban, after following the gylphs deciphered by Robin Equivalent (after their tribe was destroyed for being able to read and study them), is actually a portable Fusion Reactor. A small, carryable, infinite power source. Considering Vegapunk's wishes, that very much may play a role. Either being the One Piece itself and finishing the Thousand Sunny, giving it the literal power of a thousand suns and not needing cola power, or being the Mother Flame after all instead.
The D. Initial is related to hidden lore of one piece history, like that of Estaban child of the sun, and would be the original settlers of the planet. Since the original kingdom was actually visited by stranded aliens. This would explain the spacesuits of the Celestial Dragons. It's been so long they forgot why they shouldn't breath other's air. The exact specifics of who started the conflict and why was said to be extremely stupid. So stupid that nobody wanted to remember it anyway. But this also means it's impossible to tell who's fault it is and who originally lived on the planet One Piece takes place on, and who are the original invaders.
Enel can confirm these plot points at this point as being probable, having confirmed beings existing on Fairy Vearth. Meaning Estaban Child of the Sun plays a bigger inspiration that many could imagine.
**The strawhat is necessary for acquiring the Fusion Reactor. If it's following that anime 1:1. LOL, That's why Roger couldn't get it at the time he was there. He gave the hat to shanks who wasn't present. Also why Imu has a giant stone strawhat.*

So a possibility for the poneglyphs getting transported could be Kuma's devil fruit instant and distance isnt an issue where as Van Augers might have a limit.
the other option is the giants have more than enough time to travel round the world and drop these stones to specific locations cause they have never been part of the WG.
Imu seems to be able to use Moriahs devil fruit with the shadow manipulation thats wild idea i know but also i think he has multiple devil fruits.
the scientists 800 years ago i think were able to create logia's DF powers and Imu might have the Yami Yami no mi power too.
The Sheppard Jupiter Gorosei, being the first pope would be a reference to him having the youth surgery first on the account he looks the youngest. Makes so much sense.

When I was reading the chapter today, I saw 'Mother Frame' and thought it was some sort of framework or device that let Imu and the Gorosei (which sounds like a band name) use Uranus, which till then they couldn't. But I feel like it's been a little while since Vegapunk invented it, maybe a few years, and that he incorporated Kuma's fruit but also Kuma's memories or personality into the framework, and getting control of that has taken more time than they expected. When we first met Vegapunk he was complaining about not being able to erase the personalities of the animals he enhanced, which could foreshadow this plot. My theory is that Vegapunk was asked to invent a control system for a flying device and used Kuma's fruit as a model, but thanks to Dragon and Kuma himself he was suspicious of the true purpose of this device and put Kuma's personality into the framework as a check on their potentially-evil designs. They also expected Kuma to be in Marie Geoise a lot following his robotification so him being close at hand would let him stop the device if it were activated. At the time, they couldn't have expected that Kuma would be rescued from Marie Geoise right as the device was utilized, and I think that's why he was rushing back there, he sensed it was being activated and was trying to go stop it like he was supposed to.
Also, since it's called Mother Frame/Flame, it may have something to do with Kuma's wife, Bonney's mother, and we'll find that out when we finally see Kuma's memories.

I think there’s a parallel here with Lili and the biblical figure Lilith, especially considering Adam and Eve are also referenced in One Piece (Sunlight Tree Eve and Treasure Tree Adam). Lilith (who is considered a demon or devil), insolently refused to be subservient to Adam and left (or was banished from) the Garden of Eden. This is similar to Lili leaving the 20 kings on her own. And the idea of a good guy in One Piece having parallels to or being labeled as a demon / devil is consistent in the story.
Michelangelo portrayed Lilith as a half woman-half serpent, coiled around the Tree of Knowledge. This tree is also referenced in One Piece with Ohara, which has a connection to poneglyphs, which Lili has also been now confirmed to be highly responsible for. The serpent symbolism could also connect her to Amazon Lily.
Also the obvious similarity between the names Lili and Lilith!

I was thinking about maybe the Motherflame being an superior energy source from the void century, aka an energy source that could power the giant robot from egghead or... PLUTON the ancient weapon from the void century that has been running on the finite superior energy of the motherflame, but since its source of energy has been seized by history the weapon couldnt be used anymore until vegapunk reinvents it.

If you look at the Monster Ranchers Wiki, type in Moo who is the main villain. The story is going the same way as one piece now. Moo is a shadow Entity that is linked to a physical body and he has the power to bring out the darkness of the soul of others like the gorosei and he is is from an ancient kindgom in the past and he has 5 generals like imu. Just reading that helped to understand where the story may br heading and oda may have taken some inspiratuin
I think Nerona is a pun on Verona, the italian city home of the Romeo & Juliet tale. Notice how while we are told the name of Imu, there’s a castle with hearts.
Also, the symbol of the Capuleto family, looks like a spaceship… or like a strawhat.
Also it doesn't look like the New Warlords were cloned. Law, Weevil, Buggy, Blackbeard.
Sawyer, please look into the similarities of:
- The "Void Century" with the Black Legend
- The "Ancient Kingdom" with the Hispanic Empire
- The "D." with the D. some Hispanics used to have before their given name during the Hispanic Empire
- The "Tenryubito" with the Anglo-Saxon hegemony.
Those are just SOME of the similarities!
I’m thinking that the D. Initial is a Code that originated in the Void Century after the World Government won the war. It came to be by the survivors of the war that refused to give up fighting the World Government and they formed a resistance group dedicated to overthrowing the World Government. They chose the letter D. to represent the members of this Resistance Group for some reason, which is why Lili has the D. in her family name of Nefertari and also why D. members are known as “The enemies of God”.
The resistance group came to be known as the Clan of D. which is why so many different families have the D. Initial. Clans are big organizations made up of different families. It would also explain why Imu didn’t know that Lili was a D. member until Cobra confirmed how she signed her name on that letter she wrote that was passed down through the generations. Just my theory.
