Also the Marines have mentioned numbers multiple times, it's a huge plot point in the war in fact. If Mihawk just killed a bunch of them they'd need to stop him eventually, they need numbers to spread through the world.

Egghead is probably a mini arc, so the next arc is the big one probably elbaf since they talked about giants in egghead and showed kid going there too and saul is there, makes sense it will be the next arc
The "chan" suffix is more used to describe friendship and closeness. Buggy used it to obviously not get himself killed immediately. Saying it is connected to Crocodile's gender is a stretch.
I feel like Jinbei's energy to the crew for the moment is ironically: the fish out of water. Having Nami snap a him for the first time not knowing she has a temper, looking at sanji and zoro fight not realizing that for them the bounties are a competition, etc..
@@MisaelMatute76 Maybe unpopular opinion, not about this chapter specifically, but I think it might be good jinbe doesnt has a gag yet, because then he's forced to say something new. A lot of times it seems the strawhats are reduced to one small gag and thats it, I noticed it in episode 1029 (i know its a filler and with limited time, but it did make me feel like ive seen this over and over in the manga too), the strawhats appear for a quick scene just so zoro and sanji to fight, franky screams ''super'' alone, brook makes a bone joke disconnected... At least with Jinbe maybe it'll be like Robin slowly getting personality which was fun, maybe Sanji will keep being angry at Jinbe before they turn into bros. I was happy at Jinbe's bounty in the sense of ''I hope he's going to have more spotlight'', but I worry that maybe it was just there for a gag, not for himself but for Zoro and Sanji that won't actually give him anything and even set him up for haters, I wish he did more in onigashima, so maybe I get my hopes up too easily.
@@drivforc7867 I'm sure eventually he will have a gag though. Its just easier for Oda. Also those gags help to make more intense the moments were they act more unique. Just like whenever Zorro and Sanji work together or agree on something is more meaninful because of those gags.

This chapter was exactly what One Piece fandom needed. A brand new start with elements of the old one piece dynamic. This chapter had a little bit of everything. A lot to talk about right before a week break.🔥
Cross Guild is one of the best concepts oda came up with. It’s actually ingenious way of bringing back old characters into the story that’s relevant to the story. Fans have always wondered what would a crew of the 7 warlords look like. Now we have a crew with at least 3 former warlord. The dynamic between MIhawk,Crocodile and Buggy is top tier.
It makes sense given their warlord status has been rescinded (what would powerful pirates who are now a target of the navy again do? Of course they'd team up). I like Mihawk's savvy of having Buggy be the frontman for Cross Guild, allowing more freedom for Crocodile/Mihawk to do what they want in the background. Let's face it.....Mihawk is the true yonkō given his status as most powerful swordsman. I think Crocodile being his ally makes sense for the time being (they could get Boa on board but she's quite proud so it might be difficult to get her to join).
The crazy part is the World Government acknowledging Chopper as a commander and yet still giving him such a pityful bounty. It's like they threw logic out the window. XD

I think most people figured that the Cross Guilt worked this way: -Croc is the brain -Mihawk is the muscle -& Buggy is the man power and fame (for the investors) All three combined are a yonko threath, so it checks out.
From our point of view, yeah. But from the marines' point of view, both Mihawk and Buggy are Yonko level in strength. Gotta wait to see how they view Crocodile though. Their statement about him was vague.

It was extremely refreshing to have a chapter that featured a smaller amount of characters and focused on those character's decision making processes in comparison to the "exposition and i did it off screen" dialogue heavy chapters of the Wano raid. Amazing how it actually feels like a story with characters that feel things when you aren't getting a single piece of dialogue from character and then cutting to another one.
The bounty’s have been updated and Zoro’s bounty is 1,111,000,000 By an editors mistake. Top 5 bounties in the crew are Luffy, Zoro, Jinbei, Sanji and Robin who have all approached 1 bill. Mihawk and Shanks are the Roger and Whitebeards of the new era.
Zoro's bounty being his birthday 1,111,000,000 is really funny. And the official one piece page clarified that the publication messed up the bounty and they went to fix it. So the Viz got it correct, its 1,111,000,000

I feel like I don't understand a lot of these jokes... I mean... what's actually "funny" about his bounty being a pun to his birthday?
Caribou snuck into the barrel after Luffy knocks out the Kraken. The Kraken was blocking the current that leads to Fishman Island, and once defeated, let the ship get sucked in. During the chaos, Caribou sneaks into an empty barrel and was caught later by Franky.
Franky having Sunny as his picture could be foreshadowing that Franky (and Sunny) could be the matching opponent for that Blackbeard guy, Sanjuan Wolf, whose nickname is colossal battleship.
BOUNTY PUNS Crocodile = 1.965B 965 can be read as "ku-ro-ko", simply Croco. Mihawk = 3.590B 359 can be read as "mi-ko-ku" sounding similar to Mihawk. Buggy = 3.189B 3189 can be read as "sa-i-ya-ku", meaning "the worst".
Two problems with that theory. 1) Even in Monster Point, he still has the hat on. So even if the Marines were too dumb to see that, people close to Chopper would, and would tell him about it. If only to boost his ego. 2) Assuming this bounty was created back around Enies Lobby (it probably never got any higher, or else we'd likely have seen it, or someone would have eventually noticed this monster kept showing up near the Straw Hats), it should have been connected to the monster wrecking a member of CP9. Why even make the bounty if not for that connection (though I'm sure that reason was not made public), so we're talking about 40 mil, which is around the lowest anyone was who beat a CP9 member. And yeah, that's nothing right now. But you'd think the government would really want to find anyone who could do that. Or they would simply hire much stronger agents after that point. Except it seems like they stuck with the exact same ones, and promoted them, which is... a choice. I think Chopper would have to transform, get himself seen, and again wreck something/one noteworthy for the bounty to be raised to an amount worth any real pursuit now... and of course they still wouldn't connect him to the Straw Hats, which makes raising it to a decent amount even harder. Far more likely he would get exposed as the crew's doctor, and his bounty would be raised both for being a Straw Hat and repeatedly saving their lives.
jinbei's personality gag seems to be to misunderstand the crew dynamics, like letting luffy and Zoro into onigashima and thinking Nami would just laugh off the luffy punishment.
The craziest part to me is how people question Zoro goal as a Yonko level threat. It was so obvious from the very first introduction of MIhawk. Should of been no confusion that he is a monster.

Mihawk states becoming pirate king is harder than his title, this means Mihawk doesn't scale to Whitebeard and Roger. Mihawk knew there was a distant between himself and whitebeard. Luffy will surpass Roger and Zoro needs to surpass the power of Mihawk's black blade. I don't think Mihawk is more skilled than current Zoro, to be the strongest swordsman means you have to be able to compete in power, but skill is seperate. When Mihawk and Shanks clashed, yoru was able to handle Shanks conqueror haki so it was even in power, the difference then was who was more skilled which went to Mihawk giving him both titles as the strongest and most skilled swordsman. We still aren't sure if Shanks had conqueror's haki back then but we know how powerful blades are, I think Shanks countered Mihawk's observation haki with his secret technique and Mihawk countered Shanks haki with his black blade and surpassed his level of skill.

Regarding Jimbei, he is just doing the classic : "I'm new, and I dont understand what is happening" gag. That happened when Chopper and others joined aswell. I'm sure with time he will get his own funny gag. Just like Robin, started doing that little smile and saying creepy stuff way later...

They are named "Commanders" for the first time, and we know Luffy has a Grand Fleet now, with 7 captains under his lead. Each "Commander" pairs well with these captains and their respective division, Zoro being 1st Commander along with Cavendish (Both swordsmen), Jinbe and Bartolomeo (Sorta like shielders, focus on protection), Sanji and Sai (Both corporal fighters specializing on kicks), Robin and Leo (She's one of the first Leo met, and they have a good relationship), Usopp and Hajrudin (Another giant connection, plus Hajr raised him as "God") and Franky and Orlumbus (They're both huge brawlers). Ideo is the only one doesn't really fit, bounty amount wise, but pairs well with Franky as well (Fighting style, since Franky can box)
Yep, was thinking about this. This is the best way to use side characters in the final arc. Connect them under the strawhat commanders. That way extra characters won't feel so forced like in Wano.

Considering Dracule could be based off Romania's national hero Vlad the Impaler given that in this real world figures backstory that Vlad's brother and dad where killed by local warlords it would be really cool if Oda used this historical fact for Mihawk's backstory have Mihawk's brother and father whom are royals Celestial Dragons or high ranked guards at Castle Pangea killed by Luffy's foster family the Dadan Family which explains Garp's throwaway comment about the Dadan Family having bounties as high as the stars.

Second of all, you can read 359 in Japanese as 3 (mi), 5 (go), 9 (ku) -> Migoku; no digit has a reading of 'ho' in Japanese, so I guess Oda went for the one that sounds the closest (go).

Hey sawyer, I'm a big fan from the Naruto days. I remember watching your videos every week as Naruto ended in my middle school years. I just binge read, and subsequently watched all your reviews, from Dressrosa to the end of Wano in the past 2 months. Thanks for all your hard work and interesting insights. It's gonna be fun experiencing the end of One Piece week to week with your reviews as I finish my college degree 😁.
I had the same idea about Franky fusing with the Sunny, or maybe just turning it into a giant mech that he pilots. Glad I'm not alone in that. I feel like Jinbe being neutral energy may be deliberate, he's still finding his footing with the crew and is taking refuge in formality. He's seen as a reserved and formal character by most people (in universe) so he strived to uphold that image. He wasn't able to let loose and relax because he was carrying the weight of the Fishmen on his shoulders, earning them protection by becoming a Warlord. As part of Big Mom's crew, he'd probably have had a similar vibe because most of them are family and then he's there as an outsider, so he wouldn't have felt comfortable. Add in his code of honor, and I think he's always felt like he hasn't fully been accepted anywhere. And now he's with the Straw Hats and is slowly realizing that he can let his guard down, that this might be his real family, and we'll see more of his genial side come forth. Robin went through something similar, going from cold and reserved to much more relaxed and happy, so I expect our boy Jinbe will end up more in tune with the rest of the crew soon. A really interesting idea I saw in another video was that it wasn't actually Sabo, but Catarina Devon posing as him that's calling at the end of the chapter. And maybe even Devon that killed Cobra wearing Sabo's face, though that seems less likely to me. But if Kuma does show Sabo killing Cobra, that part of the theory would gain some traction as framing him to drive a wedge between Sabo and Dragon would make sense for Blackbeard's plans.
That makes a lot of sense and would be a great way for Blackbeard to create trouble for the revolutionaries. Even if that's the case you can guarantee they won't take it lightly (perhaps its just me but I'm ready to see Dragon do more than say something full of aboding and danger (he can be more than just the messenger).
I kinda like Jinbei's personality and how it blends with the Crews personality, his stoic neutral demeanor breaking in shock gives for pretty great comedic moments
I think Jinbes personality is supposed to be "happy-go-lucky but confused old man" where he's constantly asking himself if it was the right idea to join the crew (in terms of these "slower" moments) and that can be contrasted with his more narrative personality of being a die-hard Straw Hat loyalist
It pairs really well with nami’s banshee personality. And I like that they have a way to interact a lot given their connection with the fishmen plotline
The Cross Guild are like the Strawhats coming back from an alternate, mirror dimension. Buggy as their charismatic leader getting beaten up for being stupid - just like Luffy. Not to mention how Mihawk and Zoro are similar etc. The question is - why has this guild been setup for the end game?
As far as I knew, Doffy was the one that cut Zephyr's arm and killed his marine crew, it made a lot of sense when taking into account Doffy's cruelty and that he went on to become a shichibukai
I bet Franky's poster image as the Sunny will result in the ship being recognized as a weapon across the world, officially making Franky the creator of something akin to pluton (on a smaller scale, or he will later incorporate pluton's blueprints) by the end of the series

What i wonder about is in the baratie arc mihawk mentions to luffy "becoming the pirate king is even harder than surpassing me". In an sbs oda said Mihawk is waiting for a man or challenger that surpasses even shanks. That would automatically mean surpassing mihawk will also make you surpass shanks. So zoro is going to be stronger than shanks someday 😵.

Carrot is not a important enough character to get a goodbye, she’s a bg side character. She is not going to join especially in such a manner that would seem forced in. @@solidSnake4580 I don't know if Carrot is hiding somewhere on the Sunny or not. I do not have any expectation about it, although I would find it nice if she secretly sneaked in. I don't think her joining would seem forced in. Her, all of a sudden being made the leader of the Mink tribe seemed forced to me. Inuarashi and Nekomamushi using Pedro as a motivation for Carrot to become the leader was just lame, as Pedro sacrificed himself for the SH as he believed in them. Why would Luffy ask her to join? Robin was hiding on the Flying Lamb when the SH left Alabasta and she revealed herself later on when she was sure they were on high sea and that nobody was following them. Therefore, Carrot joining the SH through sneaking/hiding on the ship would not be that far-fetched as it already happened in the past with Robin. Anyway, people should not get their expectations up. Let's see what surprises await us in the OP future.

I love how "Carrot in the crate" has taken so much momentum that even some reviewer are bringing it up. Goes to show that either Oda really set it up well or he monumentally fucked up real bad by not giving Carrot a proper conclusion at the end of Wano if that was really it for her.
A fight between Shanks and Mihawk would end exactly the same way a fight between Sanji and Zoro would, Mihawk/Zoro would win if blades were available, and Shanks/Sanji would win if there were no blades. While Mihawk/Ryuma used all their haki to level up theirs swords, Shanks/Roger had chosen to level themselves up. Now, even though I like Shanks even more than Mihawk (Shanks is the most nostalgic character ever...), I'm ashamed of all those clowns that say that Shanks - that is a swordsman - is stronger than "the STRONGEST swordsman in the world". CLOWNS.
I don't think there will be 5 CoC in the SHs bro. The main trio Luffy Nami and Zoro are the only ones that's gonna have CoC. Since Oda has constantly stated that they are the three most important character in the series and that they are the main trigger for the series. Luffy is the MC so he obviously has it, Zoro is the first mate and to compliment his captain he needed to have one since Roger's first mate also had the CoC. And Nami, she's the heroine of the series and Oda has probably teased about her having CoC the most if not she's the only one that Oda constantly tease for having CoC in most of the interviews and SBSs and he always mentions her Queenly presence and also frequently draws her representing a Queen. If you look at all the evidences Oda has laid out through out the years, it just seems way too obvious. I think, in this chapter sure the CoC haki reveal was done like a gag but I think it was more of a foreshadowing than a gag. Kinda like how Oda did with Zoro. For Zoro, Oda had Brook joke about Zoro having CoC and 13 chapters later Oda officially revealed Zoro to have CoC as well. So my prediction is that Oda will reveal Nami officially unlocking CoC in about 10 - 20 chapters from now, probably in Elbalf. People wanna constantly bring up Usopp anytime Elbalf is being discussed but I think Nami is also gonna play a very big role in Elbalf especially knowing that her original design was inspired as a Viking with giant axe. Anyway, this is a big win for all Nami fans out there. So rejoice. hahahaha

The amount he bought the Adam tree for would be about a similar amount doubled because Kiwi and Mozu distinctively say we didn't use the whole 200mil. Plus that was a similar mask that Franky was wearing at the time when he left to go buy it. So whoever he bought it from could be looking to steal it back and sell it for more or something. That cage sure did look like a kairouseki cage. There appeared to be little sea stone modules where the bars intersected. Which heavily implies that the strawhats obtained some kairouseki from Wano and law and Kidd’s crew likely did too. I’d like to see Usopp and Nami be the ones to make use of it as they’re both highly intelligent non devil fruit users that rely on weapons over brute strength. Although Franky would also be a prime candidate for using it as he has exceptional building capabilities and could use it to augment his body or even the iron general for use in non projectile weapons

I feel like Jinbei's energy to the crew for the moment is ironically: the fish out of water.
Having Nami snap a him for the first time not knowing she has a temper, looking at sanji and zoro fight not realizing that for them the bounties are a competition, etc..
Thats also a gag when people join though. Chopper and Nami were kinda like that for a while, until they got their own gags.
Jinbei is meant to be the normal chill person of the crew who tries to mediate things but it doesn't work.

A lot of times it seems the strawhats are reduced to one small gag and thats it, I noticed it in episode 1029 (i know its a filler and with limited time, but it did make me feel like ive seen this over and over in the manga too), the strawhats appear for a quick scene just so zoro and sanji to fight, franky screams ''super'' alone, brook makes a bone joke disconnected... At least with Jinbe maybe it'll be like Robin slowly getting personality which was fun, maybe Sanji will keep being angry at Jinbe before they turn into bros. I was happy at Jinbe's bounty in the sense of ''I hope he's going to have more spotlight'', but I worry that maybe it was just there for a gag, not for himself but for Zoro and Sanji that won't actually give him anything and even set him up for haters, I wish he did more in onigashima, so maybe I get my hopes up too easily.

Cross Guild is one of the best concepts oda came up with. It’s actually ingenious way of bringing back old characters into the story that’s relevant to the story. Fans have always wondered what would a crew of the 7 warlords look like. Now we have a crew with at least 3 former warlord. The dynamic between MIhawk,Crocodile and Buggy is top tier.

It makes sense given their warlord status has been rescinded (what would powerful pirates who are now a target of the navy again do? Of course they'd team up). I like Mihawk's savvy of having Buggy be the frontman for Cross Guild, allowing more freedom for Crocodile/Mihawk to do what they want in the background.
Let's face it.....Mihawk is the true yonkō given his status as most powerful swordsman. I think Crocodile being his ally makes sense for the time being (they could get Boa on board but she's quite proud so it might be difficult to get her to join).
Loved the Comedic moments with the strawhats this chapter. Felt like a classic one piece chapter with just the gang having fun

I think most people figured that the Cross Guilt worked this way:

It was extremely refreshing to have a chapter that featured a smaller amount of characters and focused on those character's decision making processes in comparison to the "exposition and i did it off screen" dialogue heavy chapters of the Wano raid. Amazing how it actually feels like a story with characters that feel things when you aren't getting a single piece of dialogue from character and then cutting to another one.
Facts. The Strawhats being on their own again is so damn refreshing. People saying they'll miss Law, Momo, Kinemon, etc. were annoying af.

During the chaos, Caribou sneaks into an empty barrel and was caught later by Franky.
Franky having Sunny as his picture could be foreshadowing that Franky (and Sunny) could be the matching opponent for that Blackbeard guy, Sanjuan Wolf, whose nickname is colossal battleship.

I think Chopper's had a real bounty for his monster point for the longest time but he's not believed to be part of the strawhat crew.
Two problems with that theory.
1) Even in Monster Point, he still has the hat on. So even if the Marines were too dumb to see that, people close to Chopper would, and would tell him about it. If only to boost his ego.
2) Assuming this bounty was created back around Enies Lobby (it probably never got any higher, or else we'd likely have seen it, or someone would have eventually noticed this monster kept showing up near the Straw Hats), it should have been connected to the monster wrecking a member of CP9. Why even make the bounty if not for that connection (though I'm sure that reason was not made public), so we're talking about 40 mil, which is around the lowest anyone was who beat a CP9 member. And yeah, that's nothing right now. But you'd think the government would really want to find anyone who could do that. Or they would simply hire much stronger agents after that point. Except it seems like they stuck with the exact same ones, and promoted them, which is... a choice. I think Chopper would have to transform, get himself seen, and again wreck something/one noteworthy for the bounty to be raised to an amount worth any real pursuit now... and of course they still wouldn't connect him to the Straw Hats, which makes raising it to a decent amount even harder. Far more likely he would get exposed as the crew's doctor, and his bounty would be raised both for being a Straw Hat and repeatedly saving their lives.
I hope Chopper beats the shit out of a Marine and gets an insta 1B bounty

Mihawk states becoming pirate king is harder than his title, this means Mihawk doesn't scale to Whitebeard and Roger. Mihawk knew there was a distant between himself and whitebeard. Luffy will surpass Roger and Zoro needs to surpass the power of Mihawk's black blade. I don't think Mihawk is more skilled than current Zoro, to be the strongest swordsman means you have to be able to compete in power, but skill is seperate. When Mihawk and Shanks clashed, yoru was able to handle Shanks conqueror haki so it was even in power, the difference then was who was more skilled which went to Mihawk giving him both titles as the strongest and most skilled swordsman. We still aren't sure if Shanks had conqueror's haki back then but we know how powerful blades are, I think Shanks countered Mihawk's observation haki with his secret technique and Mihawk countered Shanks haki with his black blade and surpassed his level of skill.

They are named "Commanders" for the first time, and we know Luffy has a Grand Fleet now, with 7 captains under his lead. Each "Commander" pairs well with these captains and their respective division, Zoro being 1st Commander along with Cavendish (Both swordsmen), Jinbe and Bartolomeo (Sorta like shielders, focus on protection), Sanji and Sai (Both corporal fighters specializing on kicks), Robin and Leo (She's one of the first Leo met, and they have a good relationship), Usopp and Hajrudin (Another giant connection, plus Hajr raised him as "God") and Franky and Orlumbus (They're both huge brawlers). Ideo is the only one doesn't really fit, bounty amount wise, but pairs well with Franky as well (Fighting style, since Franky can box)

Yep, was thinking about this. This is the best way to use side characters in the final arc. Connect them under the strawhat commanders. That way extra characters won't feel so forced like in Wano.

15:33 Mihawk's bounty of 3,590,000,000. My interpretation of numbers is different. First of all, Mihawk's birthday is March 9th, 3/9, which we have in the bounty. Second of all, you can read 359 in Japanese as 3 (mi), 5 (go), 9 (ku) -> Migoku; no digit has a reading of 'ho' in Japanese, so I guess Oda went for the one that sounds the closest (go).

Hey sawyer, I'm a big fan from the Naruto days. I remember watching your videos every week as Naruto ended in my middle school years. I just binge read, and subsequently watched all your reviews, from Dressrosa to the end of Wano in the past 2 months. Thanks for all your hard work and interesting insights. It's gonna be fun experiencing the end of One Piece week to week with your reviews as I finish my college degree 😁.

I had the same idea about Franky fusing with the Sunny, or maybe just turning it into a giant mech that he pilots. Glad I'm not alone in that.
I feel like Jinbe being neutral energy may be deliberate, he's still finding his footing with the crew and is taking refuge in formality. He's seen as a reserved and formal character by most people (in universe) so he strived to uphold that image. He wasn't able to let loose and relax because he was carrying the weight of the Fishmen on his shoulders, earning them protection by becoming a Warlord. As part of Big Mom's crew, he'd probably have had a similar vibe because most of them are family and then he's there as an outsider, so he wouldn't have felt comfortable. Add in his code of honor, and I think he's always felt like he hasn't fully been accepted anywhere. And now he's with the Straw Hats and is slowly realizing that he can let his guard down, that this might be his real family, and we'll see more of his genial side come forth. Robin went through something similar, going from cold and reserved to much more relaxed and happy, so I expect our boy Jinbe will end up more in tune with the rest of the crew soon.
A really interesting idea I saw in another video was that it wasn't actually Sabo, but Catarina Devon posing as him that's calling at the end of the chapter. And maybe even Devon that killed Cobra wearing Sabo's face, though that seems less likely to me. But if Kuma does show Sabo killing Cobra, that part of the theory would gain some traction as framing him to drive a wedge between Sabo and Dragon would make sense for Blackbeard's plans.
That makes a lot of sense and would be a great way for Blackbeard to create trouble for the revolutionaries. Even if that's the case you can guarantee they won't take it lightly (perhaps its just me but I'm ready to see Dragon do more than say something full of aboding and danger (he can be more than just the messenger).

I kinda like Jinbei's personality and how it blends with the Crews personality, his stoic neutral demeanor breaking in shock gives for pretty great comedic moments
I think Jinbes personality is supposed to be "happy-go-lucky but confused old man" where he's constantly asking himself if it was the right idea to join the crew (in terms of these "slower" moments) and that can be contrasted with his more narrative personality of being a die-hard Straw Hat loyalist
It pairs really well with nami’s banshee personality. And I like that they have a way to interact a lot given their connection with the fishmen plotline
The fact that Croc likes for people to call him "Sir" adds to the conspiracy. He may be insecure...
The Cross Guild are like the Strawhats coming back from an alternate, mirror dimension. Buggy as their charismatic leader getting beaten up for being stupid - just like Luffy. Not to mention how Mihawk and Zoro are similar etc. The question is - why has this guild been setup for the end game?

As far as I knew, Doffy was the one that cut Zephyr's arm and killed his marine crew, it made a lot of sense when taking into account Doffy's cruelty and that he went on to become a shichibukai

In an sbs oda said Mihawk is waiting for a man or challenger that surpasses even shanks. That would automatically mean surpassing mihawk will also make you surpass shanks. Carrot is not a important enough character to get a goodbye, she’s a bg side character. She is not going to join especially in such a manner that would seem forced in. Did you even think about she could of said goodbye off screen? And if she really were to join like so many people are deluding themselves to think then don’t you think Luffy would of asked her before leaving?

@@solidSnake4580 I don't know if Carrot is hiding somewhere on the Sunny or not. I do not have any expectation about it, although I would find it nice if she secretly sneaked in. I don't think her joining would seem forced in. Her, all of a sudden being made the leader of the Mink tribe seemed forced to me. Inuarashi and Nekomamushi using Pedro as a motivation for Carrot to become the leader was just lame, as Pedro sacrificed himself for the SH as he believed in them.
Why would Luffy ask her to join? Robin was hiding on the Flying Lamb when the SH left Alabasta and she revealed herself later on when she was sure they were on high sea and that nobody was following them. Therefore, Carrot joining the SH through sneaking/hiding on the ship would not be that far-fetched as it already happened in the past with Robin.
Anyway, people should not get their expectations up. Let's see what surprises await us in the OP future.

I love how "Carrot in the crate" has taken so much momentum that even some reviewer are bringing it up. Goes to show that either Oda really set it up well or he monumentally fucked up real bad by not giving Carrot a proper conclusion at the end of Wano if that was really it for her.
Or people are just looking too much into something that’s very unlikely.

A fight between Shanks and Mihawk would end exactly the same way a fight between Sanji and Zoro would, Mihawk/Zoro would win if blades were available, and Shanks/Sanji would win if there were no blades. While Mihawk/Ryuma used all their haki to level up theirs swords, Shanks/Roger had chosen to level themselves up.
Now, even though I like Shanks even more than Mihawk (Shanks is the most nostalgic character ever...), I'm ashamed of all those clowns that say that Shanks - that is a swordsman - is stronger than "the STRONGEST swordsman in the world". CLOWNS.
I don't think there will be 5 CoC in the SHs bro.
The main trio Luffy Nami and Zoro are the only ones that's gonna have CoC. Since Oda has constantly stated that they are the three most important character in the series and that they are the main trigger for the series.
Luffy is the MC so he obviously has it, Zoro is the first mate and to compliment his captain he needed to have one since Roger's first mate also had the CoC. And Nami, she's the heroine of the series and Oda has probably teased about her having CoC the most if not she's the only one that Oda constantly tease for having CoC in most of the interviews and SBSs and he always mentions her Queenly presence and also frequently draws her representing a Queen. If you look at all the evidences Oda has laid out through out the years, it just seems way too obvious.
I think, in this chapter sure the CoC haki reveal was done like a gag but I think it was more of a foreshadowing than a gag. Kinda like how Oda did with Zoro. For Zoro, Oda had Brook joke about Zoro having CoC and 13 chapters later Oda officially revealed Zoro to have CoC as well. So my prediction is that Oda will reveal Nami officially unlocking CoC in about 10 - 20 chapters from now, probably in Elbalf. People wanna constantly bring up Usopp anytime Elbalf is being discussed but I think Nami is also gonna play a very big role in Elbalf especially knowing that her original design was inspired as a Viking with giant axe.
Anyway, this is a big win for all Nami fans out there. So rejoice. hahahaha

As I said in my other OP theorists, there is a new monster trio with Luffy having to relinquish his title as he is now in a class of himself being a Yonko and that would be Zoro-Sanji-Jinbe the monster trio executives.
Yooooo just had a thought about the Franky situation since I watch Water 7 arc sooooo often. The amount he bought the Adam tree for would be about a similar amount doubled because Kiwi and Mozu distinctively say we didn't use the whole 200mil. Plus that was a similar mask that Franky was wearing at the time when he left to go buy it. So whoever he bought it from could be looking to steal it back and sell it for more or something. Also Zoro and Sanjis bounties are in line with their birthdays March 2nd and Novermber 11th
That cage sure did look like a kairouseki cage. There appeared to be little sea stone modules where the bars intersected. Which heavily implies that the strawhats obtained some kairouseki from Wano and law and Kidd’s crew likely did too. I’d like to see Usopp and Nami be the ones to make use of it as they’re both highly intelligent non devil fruit users that rely on weapons over brute strength. Although Franky would also be a prime candidate for using it as he has exceptional building capabilities and could use it to augment his body or even the iron general for use in non projectile weapons
