Lots of disassembly to get to those lights, seems like Samsung & Vizio are going to a different type of backlighting. Those metal back panels add a lot of weight! 😧 Nice fix.
Flip the diffuser panel to get rid of the bright spots at the bottom. The new leds are not as bright as the original as you noted when comparing. Lots of picture adjustments required that reduce the features of the tv
@@SOSfixElectronics I've got two 49 inch Samsung 4ktvs, one curved and one not, both just sat waiting for new diffuser sheets.. That I'll probably never get, just waiting for some smashed panel tv of the same model. I'm going to avoid these tvs in the future, it's just unfixable without a new diffuser
Hi I have a issue and I really need help I replace backlight in a samsung UN65TU8000FXZA after installing the new light I test all with my backlight tester all work fine. After putting the tv back and plugging it in the backlight is not powering on.The powerboard is working because I'm getting power about 280v for the backlight. So my question is what could be the problem could it be the white connection between the powerboard and the lights. I forgot to mention I test the backlight using my backlight tester and the backlight work. I have some needle leads to my backlight tester so that's how I was able to test inside white connections.

disconnect the mainboard from powerboard to see if the backlight will turns on, check the voltages on big cap
