    Thanks Liv Kenya .Turkana with proven 1 billion barrels of oil reserve is supposed to have being the new driving force of Kenya economy .But due to poor leadership and corruption today Kenya is spending $350 Million a month importing oil yet we have oil.If i was GK i would give the development of our oil priority number one forget the election lets help our people with the cost of living high due to the high cost of oil.

    • @charlesmungo6782
      @charlesmungo6782 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Politics of oil is very complex and international issue...its not that simple. This oil thing is like drug business with lots of dirty deals.

    if only the Kenyan people can elect credible leaders Kenya can change alot.Example we need to invest in developing our oil by building an oil pipeline from Turkana to Eldoret where a full service refinery can be build from there the oil can be distributed by reversing the existing pipeline to the rest of Kenya and export.Oil right now is $95 a barrel and will be needed for the next 70 yrs before green technology takes hold

    • @ubaachieng4668
      @ubaachieng4668 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The refinery should be right there in Turkana unless they are reviving the Mombasa one.

    Hey Liv, i didnt see a place where u really needed the services of a 4by4, ama u edited it out? Also can a mini-suv(xtrail,CX5 etc) make this trip instead of hiring the car?

    • @LIVKENYA
      @LIVKENYA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, any car can comfortablely transport you From Lodwar to Kakuma. However, the road from Kakuma to Eliye Spring is very sandy and there are many seasonal rivers. So a 4x4 SUV with higher clearance will be more appropriate.
