A mouse experience! A brief love story.
Shout outs: Amnicon Studio
Wildlife rehabbers: Bridget and Amanda
Your stitching is beautiful. And so is your finishing. But your heart is huge. Your little mouse story just melted my heart. Your kindness has no bounds. Such an angel❤️ 🐭
Thank you! So glad we gave him a chance ❤🥹
Good on you for helping the little mouse. ❤
You amaze and inspire me, your creative stitching and finishing is awesome! What a kind and gentle soul you are to care for the little mouse with compassion and sharing your bra was the best! God Bless 💞
🥹Thank you. I miss that little peanut but so glad professional hands could care for his/her needs.
So much wonderful Autumn and Halloween stitching! Bless you and your lovely husband for saving that sweet little mousie. ❤
He’s so good to me but sure wouldn’t hold it😂❤
I have two more charts to show that I just bought 😮
I was memorized watching you feed that adorable mouse. I had tears in my eyes as you told your story. Thank you for saving his life. You are amazing!! Nice halloween stitches too!
@@dianeperkins7229 Thank you ❤️I got really attached to the little one🥹I miss him but had no real idea if I was doing right by him/her. Thanks goodness for wildlife rehabbers!😊
What a great video! You are so kind and tender hearted. Thank God for people like you.
😊Awww, thank you
Thank you for sharing so many things. You are such a joy to watch. I loved the way you saved the little mouse. Good for you! It had its very own heating pad. I had to laugh when you said what you did. Don’t think I would have thought of that!
I wonder why it came to me but I come from a long line of women who keep their keys there, melt a pack of butter there at the restaurant, keep a phone there😂❤
Today's video was the best fun ever, thank you Sarah, I excited for you to start sewing on your machine.
Yay! Thank you!
What a talent show. Beautiful finishes with perfect frames too. Happy stitching to you.
I love your videos. You made me laugh out loud when you said yarners. That's a funny way to describe knitters, crocheters, and weavers. Thanks for sharing your finishes.
Maybe Fiber artists would’ve been better 😊❤
You did a great job taking care of the baby mouse!!
And I love all of your Halloween framed pictures!!
☺️ Thank you ❤
Your mouse is so cute. What a special thing you did. I live all the stitches and finds.
Thank you ❤😊He was precious and glad we could help. Have to get back to stitches❤
You have a beautiful soul. What an amazing thing for you and you husband to do. Thank you for another reminder that there is still goodness and kindness in the world.
Your fall and Halloween cross stitch decorations are wonderful. I, too, have a sewing machine that I am too intimidated to use. It was a mother's day present. I really want to use it, I thought I would watch some TH-cam videos and be good but .... -Sigh- I'm glad you have a friend that will help you. Have a wonderful week! 🤗
Thank you. I’m always so happy my hubby has a soft heart. He didn’t want to hold the little peanut but sure took care of both of us❤I was so happy to make the sewing machine work! Karen was a an awesome teacher but she’s right, I have to read the manual. I feel so much better after her lesson ❤You can do it too!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hey Sarah, I have the Moonstruck Mill Hill kit in my small stash. Now, I want to stitch it. 😊 Stanley, is a great find. So many fun Halloween stitches! Always enjoy seeing all your thrifty finds. After seeing how much you cared & loved the little 🐭, I’ve had a change of heart. D2
Moonstruck was a dozy but so worth it!😮missing my peanut but so grateful for wildlife rehabilitators❤I did fall in love with that little nugget
Your crazy!!! Haha! Great job!! What a kind heart!
😊 thank you
Love all the Halloween stitches! OMG!!!
I have several Judith Kirby and now I need to kit those up. 😉
Judith Kirby charts are fantastic ❤You’re lucky to have them😊
Loved all your stitches all so cute!!
I'm a "yarner" too lol
I'm so happy you saved the little baby!!
I wanna be a yarner!😂There goes the craft room space❤I miss my peanut 🥹
@@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher he did look so adorable! You making mommy noises while hubby took video lol. Look Peanut here's mum helping you poop 😂
I love the things you do including saving a living being!
Thank you😊
Glad you saved the mouse. You are a sweet person. I used to have pet rats and they are sweet. Love your FFO suggestions. I rather frame them also. I think $300 is a bit much. I think the framing you do is real imaginative. I can not wait till you open that Juki. It is easy. I have the DX2000 QVP and love it. You will be making pillows galore. Kathy the dog (all animals great and small) lover PS I love to see your sweet fur kids
Would’ve liked to have a hand raised pocket mouse❤😊My sister had pets rats when we were kids…they were very sweet. Can’t wait to show my first sewing attempt! Had a great teacher ❤😊I now know how to turn it on and make it go👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
❤ the pumpkin finish!
Love your Halloween parade. The Long Spider is great. I just happened to come across my PS Whoo's There pattern today. It is only labeled 2012 PCWT. PC stands for Promotional Card. I have a few of the Hummel leaflets. I started one recently of the children under the umbrella. So cute. Love your baby mouse story! You are a hero.
😊👋🏼Thank you❤. Glad you
Liked the parade. Where did you get the promo card? Is that rare? Happy my wildlife storytelling was ok to add😅
Great finishes Sarah!
Just wandered if you ever thought of using a hard eyeglass case by your chair for thread, needles, and scissors when stitching. That's what I do to keep things away from my cat. They can be found at thrift stores.
I love animals too!!👏👏👏
❤😊
When you frame, move the wire across the back to about 1/3 of the way down from the top so the frame will hang closer to the wall. I noticed on Turkey Day the wire looked to be about midway down. Just a suggestion……❤
Thanks for the tip!
I did the as the crow flies that you have and am working on the larger one that says As the crow flies and the The spooky teapot that has a crow on it. About 30 crows come to us for breakfast every morning so I'm doing a lot of stitches with crows in them😊
I love stitching birds in general but crows have my heart ❤😊
You have a heart as big as the world.
Thank you for that ❤
All of your finishes are great! Can't wait to see your Christmas finishes! Have you started the Summer Quaker yet? I haven't yet! Your gentle handling of the baby mouse goes to show you are a goodhearted person. I never miss your videos! Good luck with the Juki! Pittsburgh, Pa
I did start the Summer Quaker ❤only a few stitches but I started 😊Thank you, I had a fabulous teacher in the Juki! Wait till you see my brag rag I stitched on😮Missing my
Peanut but so glad he/she is in professional hands❤
I think you're wonderful. Would have done the same thing. Love animals, no matter what they are. Even save spiders
@@maryJohnson-fc5bd Thank you!❤️Meee tooo! Spiders creep me out but I save every one of them.
All creatures great and small, while I’ve not put any rescues in my bra, I have rescued all sorts things like a snake that a raptor of some sort caught and dropped. The talon had cut it near its tail so off to the vet we went. It got 3 stitches and a shot of antibiotics. I only had to pay for the supplies because the vet was excited to care for something she doesn’t see in her main office. There are many other animal species like lizards, salamanders, frog and toads and so forth. Can’t help it, , you get it, right? BTW all your Halloween stitches are great.
Thank you! I love snakes but every one I’ve brought inside to show hubby gets a thumbs down😅So glad to hear about your rescue! They are so important to our ecosystem ❤I happen to think they’re cute
I like them but I have to be careful because we do have a species of rattlesnake and this guy had similar markings . I called my husband and he googled and got a box for it. We sent a picture to the vet who positively ID’d it and agreed to treat it. Quite an adventure.
I love watching your videos. This is silly but as I watched you the first thing I thought of was --- that’s a bunch of pillow cases.
😂But wait there’s more! I have a collection in the attic for finishes to be❤
❤
❤😊
Thankful you helped the tiny mouse. You gave him a chance. You do lovely finishing and stitching. Did you start your Summer Quaker?
Thank you❤I did start it!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼I’m on time!! Didn’t get many stitches in but I’m still excited 😊
🐭❤️
❤oh my heart!
What a fun parade!! I'm not sure I could have kept a baby mouse warm quite the way that you did - but I'm pretty sure I'd have had to try to save him too, just because he IS so tiny and helpless. 🪡👠
So helpless!❤Those tiny paws scratching to flip himself over were tickling me😂He slept on his back with his hands over his head when he was full
