That is an inspiring little vid, and those sea trout looked right bruisers. Thank you for sharing. Now we are at that time of year again I’m wondering where you get your permits for fishing the Esk ?
Hi Keith, I've been watching your great vids re fishing the Esk. We will be in and around Whitby from 11 to 14 March next year. Can you tell me exactly where the free streches are between Lealholm and Egton Bridge, and any day ticket contact details. Thanks.
great session! sea trout are something I've missed out on in recent years, and in our parts the season finishes at the end of Sept, so I'm envious! if you have the streamy runs and pools I feel the fly generally performs better, but maybe its down to the time and effort involved! well done, cant wait to see the next episode! 👍
Caught 1x Sea Trout on spinner few weeks ago in first 20mins of a session. 20mins later caught another on feed and maggot... I just sat for next 40mins drinking beer as game over lol 😂
Nice one Keith, enjoyed that. Will have to pick your brains next time I am in the garage!!

Great film I normally fish the fly but fancy adding a spinning set, what rod, length, casing weight.
Thanks .I have two Abu spin rods one 8 ft 10-30grm. 9 ft 15-40grm.
